    Please answer my questions teacher❤❤In exam
    Which compound has the highest melting point? Explain why
    LiF LiCl NaF NaCl KI and
    NaF NaCl CaS CaO
    I can't find 😢😢

      You're looking for the strongest electrostatic attraction which will come from the smallest and most charged ion :) So LiF in the first case because it's smallest and they're all +1/-1 charge

    Between Ionic and covalent solids, which have higher melting and boiling point?

    • @ChemJungle
      @ChemJungle  Год назад

      That's not a simple question.... in general giant covalent structures are the highest, followed by ionic, and then the simple covalent molecules are much much lover

      @@ChemJungle If in Exam Question come like:-
      Q- Which solids have high Boiling Point
      OptionA- Ionic Solids
      OptionB- Covalent Solids
      OptionC- Molecular Solids
      OptionD- Metallic Solids
      Then which Option I choose?

      @@ankitsah4959 I mean this shouldn't ever be an exam question.... there are way too many exceptions
