i have downloaded open shop into my flash drive and plugged it into my wii via the back of the console but open shop doesnt seem to be appearing in the homebrew channel and yes my flash drive is formatted to fat32

Hi! My homebrew browser needs to download images/assets at every startup, and browsing certain utilities/apps on it cause the browser and wii to freeze, so I have to reboot the console by pressing the power button. Do you know anything about that issue?
I get the same thing, except I get a "Read error -6 occurred. Retrying....". Unfortunately I don't have a solution to make it work. The best thing to do is to probably contact the devs, and see if they can help.

i dont see the home brew apps :( i have home brew channel. i add the files from openshop to apps but it wont boot up to the home brew channel. what do i do? I did notice that my pc is showing up the xml files as microsoft edge html docs, idk if that makes a difference. if so idk how to change that

But I have a question how do u get the channels? I don't want to go into the homebrew menu everytime mostly because I'm modding the Wii for my cousins.

It's been years since I tried to use it for dolphin emulator and ended up giving up becuase it wasn't working lol. But anyways, I am happily pirating and modding my wii now!

Is there anything special I don't know about adding covers for NES and SNES? I have tried everything. The roms and covers are on the SD. I use fuzzy rename, I add the original file extension, I have tried resizing all the down to 160 x 120, I've had them in fceugx/covers/3D, fceugx/covers, fceugx.... changed the menu to read covers, I have re-modded 2 different Wii's 4 or 5 times each and it is frustrating as hell that no matter what, I can not get the covers to show. I have 2D scans, the shrunken spines, the 3D covers, Nothing. Anyone else have this issue?
If you have a windows 10 pc, turn on mobile hotspot (shares your internet connection) and then connect your Wii to it. That’s what I do and it works just fine. Gotta homebrew your Wii before you can use homebrew though. Just make sure it’s sharing your connection from the 2.4 GHz network band.

No. I think you need to install something called a wad file.
Create a wads folder 📂 on your sd card

You create a app folder like a normal folder there’s no special files inside the apps the only thing inside are your homebrew apps
Downloaded VVVVVV through the Homebrew Browser. It controls fine enough but the audio is HORRIFIC. Cutscenes and the death sfx is like earrape.

Did you download the right ROM? It will crash if you install EU Rom and try to load it with english language

You need to erase the hbrew browser out of your apps folder, it won't delete any games
