As a beginner at the piano, I found that your tutorials are amazingly, simple, straight to the point, no complications. I am interested in jazz (and r&b) I would like you to cover some fundamental exercises that put more emphasis on developing the left hand independence, which I believe is important. Especially for those who do not come in with a background in classical studies. For example, I am able to go through the relatively easy tunes and chords etc.. but when it comes to practicing simple blues with walking bass lines, or some interesting L.H. harmonic movements I am practically frozen. Thanks for all this great work.

Really useful that concept of 'clustering'. I have always tended to space things out and was trained to avoid having a third note in the left hand etc. But part of that nice neo soul sound is having all the notes close together and creating some dissonance/harmonics out of that. I really like these close together soulful chords. It's really due to Marc Rebillet that I've started looking into this because he's always playing nice major and minor 9ths and soulful chords and it sounds so sweet.

Beautiful Voicings and another helpful lesson. Some might call it Neo Soul. To me, it's the sunny L.A. Sound of the late '70s, 'Yacht Rock', whatever. But definitely from an era of Jazz schooled/ influenced Musicians like Donald Fagen, Richard Tee, Marc Jordan, David Paich, Neil Larsen on their Rhodes and Wurlitzers. Looking forward to your next lesson!
