being in Disney World I've realized most people there don't seem to realize the Marvel connection. maybe it's due to them being west of the Mississippi river as Marvel characters are only in universal and the California park etc but I've spoken to people who liked my Loki shirt and had 0 clue Marvel was under Disney. I think that is a lot more subtle than we think. To me it was obvious, based on the Disney shirts and ears everyone wears it's clear most don't seem to know.

this is my all time favorite when it comes to cast members!!! after we were hit in our rental car and late for the reservation at 50's our cousin played the part so GREAT of "who wants to hear your winning" and came out with a whipped cream pie and smashed it in my face!!! I know sounds bad, BUT it was so unexpected that we laughed all night and were in tears from having so much fun... totally forgot the whole car wreck thing. just the best ever, maybe not for everyone but the cast member read me perfectly!! My husband and I went on our anniversary trip and loved it! While our server was full of antics and fun, when I started telling her about my dietary needs at the time, she kneeled down and spoke with me in a soft voice giving me a bit of needed privacy before being right back at it yelling at my husband for his "bored face". Truly magical.

My favorite Prime Time experience was the time when the Streetmosphere hard-hat guys wandered in. They hung out in the bar for awhile complaining about the weak drinks and "testing" their plungers on the ceiling. Then later we spotted them wandering the restaurant itself "fixing" TVs that were clearly working.
Also (since ya mentioned the Brown Derby) we were once blessed with a visit from Humphrey Bogart who sat at our table and ate all our complementary bread rolls one quiet afternoon. Fun times!

Both of us being "of a certain age," my wife & I immediately identified with the Prime Time cafe. Imagineering nailed the atmosphere of the restaurant! So much of the look of the cafe we remember from our youth or we actually owned after we became young adults. Food was excellent for the amazing quantity that continuously paraded out of mom's kitchen. Our server was fun and entertaining. We would go back and recommend it to others.

My family loved the 50’s Primetime Cafe! We’re very unfussy, comfort food type of people, so we were fine with the menu. Never having dined there before, we weren’t familiar with the table options, and so without even requesting it, we were so lucky to get a tv table. We've eaten there several times - always when we've been on the dining plan. Two bad experiences were turned round for us - my now 27-year-old daughter is autistic and if you're in the wrong room the noise can be deafening. We had an extremely loud waiter on the table behind us who just shouted the entire time. My daughter couldn't take it any longer and just burst into tears. Not only did they apologise but gave us a whole new portion of her fried chicken to take away 'so you can enjoy the food as it's meant to be'.
Another time hubby and I went there for our 25th wedding anniversary. We had the worst waiter ever - he practically threw our silverware and serviettes at us and practically ignored us the whole time we were there - even though I was wearing a large an ornate anniversary badge that I made myself. Every other waitress who came through admired it hugely and congratulated us on our anniversary. This was the first time I'd ever had recourse to ask for the manager after our meal to complain about this guy's whole attitude: he actually upset me with his callous behaviour - even sitting at the spare chair on the adjoining table's party to chat to them while they ordered! The manageress had greeted us on our way in, and was surprised to see I had a complaint - and actually wrote us out a $50 gift voucher 'an anniversary from myself' she said!!! We were totally gobsmacked - not what I expected or thought would happen.

Our server once poured water into my dad's glass with the napkin and silverware still in it because he didn't set the table like she asked him to. 😂
On another trip the entire room held out their arms and made airplane noises for the server when she fed me a fork of green beans because I didn't finish them.
The food is a'ight but the memories are _chef's kiss._ 👌🏻

We ate there in April. The atmosphere was on point. The food and service however were the worst of our last 4 trips put together. I was surprised it ended up so poorly.

50s prime time is my favorite! I always go every time and get the meatloaf! It’s by far the best of the best for a great price as well!

I've been to both 50's PT and Brown Derby in the last few years. Both are great, but I think I preferred 50's for the theming and the comfort food, as well as the much lower cost.

We ate there in October and it was great. For sure doing it on our trip next year. This year's trip was way too last minute to get a reservation so maybe we can get one same day, if not there's next year.

Yes. I would say it has some of the best food in any of the parks and I've eaten everywhere at Disney. By far the best fried chicken I've had in my life that wasn't homemade.

The food and service is great there. I love the 50’s style atmosphere, but you really have to have a sense of humor to enjoy it. The waiters and waitresses are basically actor and treat you like you’re in their home and they’re the parents.

Last time I was at this restaurant was 1993 and I'll be taking my family to this restaurant when we go this October. My wife, 7 year old son and 9 year old daughter have never eaten at it. We are also taking our kids godfather who hasn't visited the parks since 1993.

Love this restaurant! I think the food is really tasty! The vibe in the restaurant is super fun. We had two reservations last time we visited 12/2019. I can’t imagine going to Disney World without a visit to Prime Time💜 I say skip Brown Derby but definitely visit Brown Derby Lounge. Just my opinion 💜

Went there last fall for the first time and had the chicken meal which was great for the Disney price. Our server didn't interact much with us, which was fine. The theming was great. Probably will go back this year.

I absolutely LOVE Prime Time Cafe but reservations are IMPOSSIBLE to get! I hope to snag a reservation on a cancellation basis the week before or something. The meatloaf is delicious btw
