This makes my heart hurt. I knew watching this that you guys weren’t doing so good and it makes me so sad. He will realize what he’s missing. Girl you are amazing.
I love how real this was. Cody was genuine about his emotions and you provided a safe environment for him to be honest. I love you both and am so happy you have the little “squish” now. Stay safe and happy guys ❤️
Thank god she can raise this beautiful child on her own .... He looks so immature and uninterested almost unemotional... and im happy he said "youre a fu#king mom " its true im so happy he acknowledged that!
The fact that he quotes Scott Disick and doesnt feel like a dad makes me so sad ... I'm so happy you can handle raising her 💗 you are an amazing beautiful smart caring mom !
For all the dads with breastfeeding moms questioning how to bond with baby -change baby diapers (it's not gross) my husband calls himself "diaper dad" and they "talk" and just spend a little time together. -burp after feeding -give the baby a bath -my hubby takes baby when she gets up in the morning (after she eats) and they hang out why I either grab an extra hour of sleep or just relax in bed.
It's so important. My dad was never involved in caregiving activities. He worked so much. I only started bonding with him as a teenager. Now we love to watch romantic comedies together and talk about politics. But it still makes me sad that he was almost a stranger to me as a child. But he regrets it himself and now tells new dads that your children are more important than your work. You can't get these years back
Can not wrap my head around what happened in these two months from this video to ur newest one. I wish u all the strength to keep going and be still positive and beautiful person. ❤️
I know that I can’t judge him based solely on the videos I’ve watched of him but I do sense a bit of attitude from him and that he talks to Brittany in a very cold way. I know the separated and we have no idea how hard that was on Brittany but I hope he is able to be more warm and happy than how he seems to be the last while
I love that he said "she looks like her" when you asked who she looks like. I cannot tell AT ALL when people say babies look like mom or dad, they're all just cute balls of mush!
Honestly, maybe we should just acknowledge that his "coldness, uninterested look" is just a sign of major depression. My partner went through a rough patch in our relationship and it was like talking to a wall! He was cold, no emotion, hardly made conversation and you could see it I'm his eyes he was not happy. That's what I personally see in Cody. I can't imagine people being so rude and picking my man apart because of his mental state during that time. How about we give Cody and Brittany some positive comments to read! How about we acknowledge these signs before it's too late and let him know that he's important! Not saying he is in fact depressed but I'd rather be kind just incase he is fighting demons. One day Arrow will grow up and read these comments and it may hurt her! Just thought I'd share this perspective.

The “we’re still bonding” thing is so true. I expected this massive connection for my baby when I met him but it really was like I love you but I don’t know you. After getting to know my baby that’s when the bond really got strong.
My husband loved our son when he was a little baby of course, but as he has gotten older they have bonded so much more. My son is four now and they are best friends. Give your husband time and he will grow into the dad roll more and more. It takes the daddies a little bit longer sometimes.
Cody's chillness knows no bounds 😂💕 My hubby's the high strung one and I'm just like "Chill kiddo, we'll be all good" 👌 Your family is eveyone's goals, for a real one

I appreciate the honesty, always! But seriously. Such a lack of respect in his answers. Makes me sad. Brittany, you’re doing amazing, momma! ♥️
I know it sounds so weird but something my husband did a lot of cuddling with us when I breastfed . When he had the chance he’d sit with us and rub our baby’s back or feet or just watch a video with me and lay his on my shoulder so the baby could see , it helped a lot with their bonding ❤️
As a married woman without children yet this is very helpful and eye opening because I have expectations that I never thought my husband might feel differently about.

So this is how you tubers get ready with a baby! 😄 I’ve always wondered what it actually takes and now I know. Also I felt like a full blown mum straight away and it definitely took my husband a lot longer to get into the ‘dad’ role.
my kids are 2 and 4 now and i finally feel like a mom lol i felt the same where it was weird like i was watching someone else’s kids but i’ve always had trouble with emotional attachment it took a lot of one on one time with each of them and learning to be more in the moment and reflect on the day every night to be more affectionate and attached but trust me it’ll happen 😁❤️
In the early stage a great way that dad can bond with the baby is doing skin to skin. My husband did it with our first born and now the same with our second 💞
I legit love watching these, my tubes are tied and my youngest will be 3 next week so I'm done with all of stages babies go through but still love watching your videos
I'm glad you did this! Hope some of the people who judged Cody during your birth video took the time to watch this one too... It would be cool if someone who criticized him came back to leave a positive comment now. More dad perspective videos would be great!

I have to ask my dad if he knows what it is. He didn't stay long after my birth because he was totally worn out and went to a bar to drink a beer. Without telling my mom! But she was never salty about it. What a saint😅
yeah girl id leave too
So this is how you tubers get ready with a baby!
My husband thought the same about our son... the older he gets, the more connected he feels!
In the early stage a great way that dad can bond with the baby is doing skin to skin. My husband did it with our first born and now the same with our second 💞
"don't know what the placenta is" lol genuine!
I'm amazed at how he was able to miss it 😂 then again I think it was happening at the same time he was cutting the cord. lol
@@brittanybalyn theres'a lot going on usually at that time. He was clearly busy :)
I legit love watching these, my tubes are tied and my youngest will be 3 next week so I'm done with all of stages babies go through but still love watching your videos
His carbon copy!! Such an adorable angel 👼🏻😭😭😭
Arrow just looking around and doing baby stuff is the highlight of the video
I'm glad you did this! Hope some of the people who judged Cody during your birth video took the time to watch this one too... It would be cool if someone who criticized him came back to leave a positive comment now. More dad perspective videos would be great!
@@heythere5817 I don't think so... Like she said, she didn't want to get into details.. I would still stand by that we can't know someone else's life or situations and reactions based on the internet. Ultimately, she has handled it very graciously, not dragging anyone through the mud, or making it dramatic, we do not know him as a person... I don't think it's our place to judge or bash him, especially if she isn't. bashing him.
He's so real and honest!
This is just beautiful 😭 y’all coparenting is also beautiful. Bless 💚
Your amazing to watch. I had my son in August and your videos have always been uplifting for me during my pregnancy and postpartum.
Okay I’m in love with this video and the whole fam! You two are so adorable and have such an open/honest relationship! This was a great video to film Britt! 💕
I love that he said "you sacrificed". It's so important for men to realize that it is truly the biggest sacrifice a woman can make. I love the two of you together. May your cute little family always be happy and healthy! Sending you all lots of love and light
First of all, oh my God your baby is so cute it hurts. Second of all I can't even believe how good she was with the boogie thing! My kids would've taken my eye out
Love how genuine you guys are!!
You two make such an amazing couple!

What he’s feeling is totally normal and truth is, some moms even feel that way for such a long time too!
