First and foremost, commiseration to England! Happy that France won and yes I believe England that played well but what makes a win is to be able to score actual goals. Also considering that France had like 5 major players injured did not help. England has a bucket load of talented young players and will be a force to recon with in the very near future. It was fun watching your comments and love the way that you also have respect to you opponents as at the end of the game, this is sports and there a winner and a loser. We will have a very hard game I believe against Morocco as I believe they are ready to eat anything that come infant of them LOL God Bless your family ... Lovely people xo

Although I'm a Scot, I've lived in France for almost 40 years so,sorry, was rooting for France. That said, England were the better team (as Morocco was in the semi), but the English team really need to start scoring from open play when they get to this stage of a major tournament. Ref was terrible, but you should be proud of the team. France do really find a way to go that step further. Don't agree with you about southgate though. Nice guy but doesn't seem to be able to take these lads that extra step. Head up though, they went out with pride.
PS: I doubt I would have been as respectful as you if the ref had been so one sided but against France and France had lost the game. You very very respectful at the end of the match.

If you watched the video, you would see us emphasize that we are not blaming the ref for our loss and congratulate France for their win. They took their chances for sure. But the ref was trash lol. Thank you for your kind words 😊
Just because we were awarded two penalties does that mean that all other fouls or penalties should be ignored it just means that the French were not abiding by the rules.

@@SonsOfNanaDee no he wasn't. You needed to find excuses for England losing so of course you turned on the ref. Did he make a few not great decisions? Sure that happens it is called football. He did not cause Stones and Maguire to lose Giroud in the box.
I'll give you an example of why you're blind when it comes to England. In 2nd half ball went in to Giroud he wasn't going to get near it. He was pushed (albeit not with much force) in the Box. He got up and laughed.
Let me guess that part doesn't fit into your narrative. Prior to France's 2nd goal at a corner kick, Maguire for the umpteenth time wrapped his arms around Giroud. We both know this happens all the time on corner kicks.
So why did ref give a pen for a push on a ball Mount wasn't getting anywhere near?
Also the foul on Kane, clearly happened outside the box. BBC commentators who unlike ITV have moments of clarity pointed that out almost immediately.
When you step back away from the British media and actually take a moment...you will realise the Ref was not the problem.
Having 58% possession and creating next to nothing with it? Was.
Mate. Calm yourself. We are allowed to be disappointed with the result. We are also allowed to be disappointed with the referee and his performance. We said many times that we can't take anything away from France, who also played well and took advantage of their chances. We are allowed to think we were the better team on the night, but at the same time recognising that we did not capitalise on our chances. We wish France the best of luck in the rest of the tournament 👍

I'm french, I think the ref was bad, some fouls weren't whistled for England but i think that the foul of Saka by Upamecano is not a penalty because it's out of box and the ref cannot give free kick for this after seeing the VAR. And i don't think the foul of Hernandez deserve a red card.

Hello guys great video! Great game from England ! Saka and Bellingham been the two standouts in that game on your side ! The ref wasn't good at all I'll give you that. Now I've got to admit because I see a lot of England claiming to be the better side and honestly it kind of rubs me the wrong way let me explain why : when you fail to score on open plays are dangerous mostly on set pieces and concede 2 goals in those same open plays.. Means France was more efficient in the 2 boxes. When a team is better in both boxes, were you really the better side ? You had control and pressure during the second half and England produced quality football yes , but that's not enough. Not merely enough to go through to a semi-final. Even if Kane were to score this penalty, England needing to rely on penalties to draw France where 5 absolute starters are missing (Kante Pogba Hernandez Kimpembe Benzema..) tells me that England were further away from winning this tournament that you guys might think.
We can actually agree with most of what you said to be honest. There is no disputing the fact that France were more clinical and took advantage of the chances that they had. That's clear. We are not saying that France did not deserve the win. They did. For us English folk, we are just so disappointed to see our team lose when they played as well as they did in this tournament and still fell short due to not being clinical enough. Over the years, we have become so familiar with defeat at this point. But usually, the losses are justified by our poor performances. It's just even more gutting this time around because we actually played well 😂. And although the ref was terrible, we are not blaming him for the loss either. I've never such such sore losers in my whole life. Just because your end up on the floor doesn't mean a foul should have been whistled. Do you know how many times a French player fell on the floor and no foul was whistled? 3 min, 58 sec, 41,54 min, 45 + 4 min (hernandez nearly twisting his ankle), 54 min 55, 75 min 12 sec (Giroud being clearly pushed in the box. If the French had complained and waving their arms like the english did all the bloody time, it wouldn't have resisted the VAR. ), 79 min and 13 sec, 90 min +7,38. Practically every time a clear foul was made on an English player, the referee called it. And if it wasn't 100 %, neither was it for the French. The ref tended to let both teams plays. You were not able to score a single real goal and to win a match in spite of 2 pen. Just because you hit a long desperate shot on target doesn't mean you are dangerous. The clearest chances were French. It's not like you hit the post several times. And the score says it all. Instead of thinking you should have won and the French got lucky and bought the ref, try to understand why you weren't able to score a single real goal in this so called weak defense and to Lloris (don't even know how you thought he was bad). And maybe one day you'll be able to beat a top team and keep singing the it's coming home crap 3 more days. Oh and you can say Hi to the Sun and their French toasts.

It’s because hearing all those players and neville saying the ref was bad and they were the better team really pissed me off. When France lost to Portugal in the final of euro 2016, Portugal had litterally 0 chances the whole match while france hit 3 posts and gods knows how many shots. And we lost at the 110 min on a long distance weird shot that should never have happened since there was a clear handball 5 seconds before. No players or pundits said it was luck and they were the better team like Bellingham and others did. It s just not classy. We all said we were not able to find the net in 120 min so probably we didn t deserve to win. In the game france team C vs tunisia there was a disallowed goal of griezmann even though he wasn’t offside (the ball was coming from a defender). No players or media blamed the ref.
Regarding the ref : I don t think you are being objective. You seemed to get upset every time an English player fell on the ground even though you were sitting on your couch while the ref was 1 meter away. Tackling is ok as long as you touch the ball first even though the opponent trips as a result. And even if there was a foul, it doesn t mean you would have scored. Blaming the ref could make sense if you lost 1 0 due to a pen given to the other team. But not when you opponent scored 2 goals and you were given 2 pen. And as I said, French players fell too. Ironically, I didn’t hear any English fan screaming about giroud s push in the box…And you seemed to scream at the ref every time an English player fell and call bullshit everytime it was france. Regarding the yellow card Hernandez had for his inexplicable foul in the box : you freaked out because you wanted a red. But you were already given a pen ! Punishing a team by a pen plus a red card almost never happens. I don’t even remember the last time I saw that.
Regarding the « better team » : it s very subjective. And if England had more possession, and hit a little more, France had many chances too.
To finish : my opinion is that when you think you were the better team even though you opponent scored more than you, it stops you from improving your game. So I don’t think it s a good philosophy to have. And maybe this could explain france success since the loss of the euro 2016 final.

No need to apologise mate. I think you are just misinterpreting things in the video, that's all. If you actually listen in the video, there are a few moments where France commit some hard tackles on England players, and even though we may initially have an outburst and call for the ref to take action, we correct ourselves and express those tackles as being excellent, giving the French players praise. We consider our family to be fair and have no shame in correcting ourselves when we are wrong about something. Regardless, it's all good and thanks for tuning in 😊

That was a very close game because England had the same chance as France to pass the quarter finals. But that is world cup football always one winner and a loser. the referee was not trustable in many moments of the game

@@red-one5923 it might be a contact sport but it still has rules the penalty given against mount for example was a clear foul he didn't even make an attempt at the ball and the ref only gave that because he was called to and the yellow card was pure pressure, he was ready to call for play on. Why are English fans always complaining do you forget the Euros and the cheating that England did and no one says about that. Secondly stop targeting match referees football is not an easy game than just kicking a ball around and refereeing a major tournament under pressure is much difficult so stop targeting the officials they are doing their jobs.
