Excellent work! I was struggling with my design and this saved me a lot of time, Thanks!!!🎉🎉🎉
I've been watching allot of these pipe closet videos and I really like your video because it gave me a realistic point of view. Thank you !
I'm glad that you liked it!
Love it! Thanks for sharing.
For anyone wanting to try this, pipe unions are what make the lateral lines possible.
Do you have a video on how to install pipe unions?
This is an AWESOME idea!!
I'm wondering what size around the pipes you went with. I see there are different diameters (or) radius', so I'm just wondering what the best size if for closet hangers.
I went with 1/2 inch pipe and the hangers work fine. The 1/4 while cheaper seemed like it would just be too small looking
Wow looks great!
Gr8 video and helpful Thanks
wow this is a lot of work
It really only took 3 days with filming which I thought was pretty decent. But its definitely easier than doing it with wood :)
Awesome job!
Nice !
Did that wax work long term to keep the pipe sealed? It seems nearly impossible to get all the grease off. Im worried about it getting on my clothes
Years later and yes! The biggest thing was cleaning the pipes to get the grease off. You'll see that the pipes change color drastically when you do that and the wax was mostly there for rust
@@ZacFolsom ok, thank you! I clean the pipes i'm using already (i thought extremely well with acetone and then soapy water), and then i sprayed them with a clear exterior sealant (for concrete, metal, brick, etc). When i started to assemble some of the peices earlier today I ended up with black stuff on my hands still. I'm going to go over them again and then apply the wax i think.
😳😊👍👌👏Wow! Great Job!
Good
Thank you. Great tutorial and thanks for the links. Came out amazing. Congrats. But wear shoes!!
What size pipe did you use? Thanks
I used 1/2 inch and it's held up amazingly.
Did you buy the imported or domestic pipe fittings on supplyhouse.com? does it matter?
I did buy everything from supply house.com
Hey, Zac, what's the thickness of the pipes you are using?
I'm using the 1/2 inch. 1/4 looks really tiny but would also hold up.
SO cool!!!!!
I'm glad you like it :)
How much did all of the materials cost for this set up?
He said it in the video. Pay attention.
Appreciate😃
this is actually filmed very nicely but constructive criticism, the music is annoying and too loud. Just cut it out, we would be able to hear you much better as well.
I appreciate it. I'll be sure to make it quieter. I don't know if I have the file on my computer anymore unfortunately!
👏👏👏👏
Muscly fella aren't you
Daisy, when doing construction type work, wear shoes.
Dang bro, that is industrial AF and not going anywhere.
Looks fine for a single guy. My wife would absolutely veto this sort of project, it's really ugly.
If you want to be surrounded by steel pipes join the navy and click the box for submarine duty.
It’s industrial and cheaper to do than a full closet build and my wife loves it. So I guess maybe it depends on who you marry 😊
