It's impossible to please people every time. Your first responsibility is to your family. Your second loyalty is to your business and your staff. You can't afford to do free builds while paying your guys their wages. I appreciate your willingness to do something nice for Ed.

Just wanted to say, your “spamming” was done with humor, and don’t change. Some of your stuff is “corny as hell” but it makes it fun and light and interesting…. I watch Fab Rats, and Matt’s too but I always watch yours last as I know I will end on a good note that keeps me wanting more!!! Don’t have that much time to watch videos….. and the few times I have seen them, they just don’t entertain as much…. If it wasn’t for the nugget would never have watched Fab or Robby, and as time goes on, with probably only watch Matt (cause of Trevor & Lizzie) and Robby the most entertainment for the “buck”

To Robbie and the entire crew - thanks for the awesome content. This build series is nothing short of amazing. The Golden Nugget is actually going to be better than it was the day it rolled off the assembly line.
A couple of thoughts:
I love that Hillbilly is the type of trainee who catches his mistakes and immediately alerts a someone about it. Many would try to hide it or report it way later. True sign that Hillbilly's is going to keep progressing!
Secondly, I really enjoy Cody's explanations and I get the impression that he is an excellent mentor.
It always makes me happy when one of the trainees catches and owns up to something they did. Yet we have a guy near on retirement who blatantly makes a mistake and claims it wasn't him.

Totally. If I had a special project that I wanted done right, I would not hesitate to truck it all the way to Robbie's (I live in California). So damn impressed.

For what it’s worth I thought the “ad push” in the last video was awesome and hilarious. With all the work you are doing on this project I hope you sell enough merchandise to offset the cost. I can’t believe people would complain when you are putting so much effort into putting out this amazing content they can watch for free. I thank you for all the hard work and love watching every episode!!

The infomercials were freaking hilarious. Don’t stop being you just because of trolls on the internet.
One of the best digs at the armchair mechanic/painters " The Internet would have had this done by now". Ed is gonna be driving one of the best looking vehicles around, great job guys.
The hours of work it takes to do a good job is enormous, especially on a vehicle where the body panels were probably wavy straight off of the production line.
Anyone who thinks that this is not a labor intensive procedure needs to fix up a few vehicles first and end up with something that doesn't look like hell from less than 15 feet away.
I agree 100%.. I have done body work before the guys are great.. Really enjoy them and being 65 disabled i totally understand the lo g hours if work needed to the job RIGHT.. and to Robby and the gang... GREAT JOB..
Shit the internet would have done it quicker better cheaper and have the whole thing completed by now. In reality they would have the whole thing with waves like the ocean, paint that wouldn’t stick and what did stick would be orange peeled to hell and back
Real painters and body men would never say anything other than "Damn. Nice work!".
I would still be on the paint removal process. Job this size would be two years and not be within 15% of the quality.

It's always funny when people complain. I did notice y'all had a lot of merch "ads" in the other video, but took it either as an overkill joke, or a time filler for humor. Y'all are always good. Keep on being awesome!

Personally I thought the product placement in the last video was funny and well done. As always I'm impressed with the work you've done on the Golden Nugget. I can imagine how much that kind of restoration would cost, it's a nice gesture to Ed.

From personal experience, Armchair experts think they know everything about a subject after having used a very small, simple application of it once ten years ago. They end up actually being so ignorant on a subject, that they think they know a lot about it by severely misunderstanding how nuanced a skill truly is.

Robby, you guys have done an amazing job with this restore and repaint job both on the nugget and rokon. I enjoyed your humor in introducing your merch and like many others thought it was about time. Most of us realize how much this may end up costing you and are very grateful to you and the whole team for doing it. This will be 1 for the history books for sure.

Lots of respect for Hillbilly being willing to learn a new skillset and being willing to show how it's okay to make mistakes while learning. I hope he doesn't get discouraged by the armchair mechanics that apparently have done everything and know everything. I hope it's a fun learning process for him and that he gets lots of encouragement.

Working in this kind of atmosphere is more than work. It’s family, and your compelled to be there because of the great people that surround you. I hope that the behind the scenes atmosphere is the same as what we see in the videos. Your team is fortunate to have this kind of leadership and work-family. Many of us do not. I hope they realize this. It is one of the reasons you have such a following.
I thought the merch adds were very funny, so no worries there. It's not like you never shut up about having merch like some channels. You folks just keep doing you. You're doing just fine.
I've been enjoying this whole thing. It's just wild how much time and labor goes into paint and body work alone on a project like this. This goes to show why quality body work, especially a large project, is expensive. Hillbilly seems like a great apprentice too. You can see he's really paying attention and trying to learn everything possible. The "commercials" were funny too, ignore the haters. They fit perfectly with the light and goofy humor you all show here on the channel.

I really can’t wait to see Ed’s reaction. I hope you guys make it into a big thing. I feel so invested in this entire project. Been watching since day 1. I was amazed that Matt was able to recover it, and I didn’t expect it to get this far. I’m sure there are so many others that are as invested as I am.

Good ole wholesome entertainment with good people. It's amazing to watch a little truck that probably cost 5k new, get a complete rotisserie restoration. Can't wait to see it finished and the look on Ed's face. And I think Matt needs to have little toy LJ's made like he did for the banana.

Honestly, this is one of my favorite channels, in my top 3 or 4, my wife never understood how much work goes into a paint job until now.

It’s amazing how a color can stir one emotionally. That beautiful gold reminds me of many years ago when my dad painted my first car, a Chevy Malibu with a Cadillac color called Cinnamon FireMist…it was beautiful. So looking forward to seeing the Golden Nugget finished up.

The infomercials were totally fine. You guys are bringing us great content, and if you guys aren't having fun doing it, there would be no point to it. Your team is great, you have brought us the viewers into your shop and your lives and I will say for myself, and probably most of the viewers, we had no idea the magnitude of work that has to go in to getting an amazing, top notch paint job. It isn't just sand, primer, paint - and I had no idea. Thank you.

As long as you don't push it every video, you're good. It's fine to mention your merch site at the end/beginning of the video, and when you get new merch, it's fine to get excited. Long story just a little bit longer, your first merch is fine to push! Keep up the great work!
Seeing that gold paint going on is mesmerizing. I have done a tiny bit of amateur spraying and yes it takes forever, and can't be rushed.
