Cordless tools are great but y'all should KEEP a regular ol' lug nut wrench in each vehicle. Batteries can die or be forgotten. Simple basic tools for your rigs
Love how comfortable Jamie is doing the recoveries and how she gave her gameplan for the truck. Demri is also comfortable with all the shenanigans and has fun out with the guys.
if feel so sorry for matt and robby they when they became successfuly there wives weasled there way into their professional lives. god how awful its not like they can say aynthing
I'm 76 yrs old but my memory is sharp as a tack. I remember the old days, before impact wrenches were invented ,when you used a manual wheel wrench to change a tire.
I have driven back country roads all over the country, including Canada, to get to rivers for kayaking. I only used topographical paper maps and have never gotten lost! Technology is great when it works, but paper maps never break down.
Deja Dory putting in the work is nice to see. Should add a breaker bar to that tool kit in all the vehicles, just in case - those Milwaukee impacts are awesome, but manual backup can save your bacon.
Great Recovery Robbie and Crew. We all knew Dejablue would do well there. All that Slimy Mud worked in your favor..I have a 2dr. XJ that I would love to build up the way yours and Matt’s jeeps are built… Very. Versatile rigs.. take care guys MWP Cosby. Tn.
Robby, get a junkyard parted hatch for that XJ, Deja Blu. It deserves a closed hatch, plus u can keep the heat, rain, and critters out. Not talking about Hillbilly, haha.
At 15:00 Matt is here to observe and 'bump-steer' us so that what we do Best on recoveries can be done Morr-Better. We are always seeking to improve our knowledge and experience. Thanks, Matt! No need to be self-depricating as a YTbr. 👍
Mr. Layton, y'all need to get with yankem ropes and order you some blue yankem. Matt has yellow, Rory has the lime green I think it's daysà"blue" rope time.
It's more Exciting. I really think that it has a new tank and sending unit, so it should be right. And probably seeing how many miles it gets till the light comes on, then how far till it's out .
@@Deadcntr Pros don’t leave things to chance! Back up battery packs/charging station on the truck, and maybe even old school tire iron wrench, just in case! Fill up for sure as you might need to share a few gallons with someone on the trail.
I know it doesn't make for good content, but aswell as keeping power tools on your vehicles keep a good old fashioned 1/2 inch drive breaker bar. I do recovery work in the UK and I've learned the hard way that power tools WILL let you down. Always keep good old fashioned hand tools on board
I have experienced the same problem with the iPhone map! It sent me in exact opposite directions that I needed, and I verified the error with google maps!
Plain and simple you should always have a breaker bar and lug socket in every vehicle, just in case you ever need to change a tire. They are cheap, and a reliable tool that doesn't require power.
What tire pump is that at 9:06? I have tried several from amazon and they were junk. Would like to have a reliable portable tire pump to keep in the car.
Great video as always. Thanks for posting. I have a question for Adley or anyone, what do you call a cow that doesn't give milk...............a milk dud.😎 Thanks
Robby, i give you props, Matt's customer was Nucking Futs, and you handled it well sitting next to him..
As I've said before, I love it when you two work together. And with Jamie and Demari supervising, you know it was going to be successful.
The Boss makes these videos 1000% better.
Great teamwork
@albert-gazo Can't argue with this at all.
Quite well said indeed, my friend. 👍
Trusting the gas gauge in a vehicle that Matt built. There's a little bit more going on there than bravery 😅
TomTom wrechnched on it, so it should be fine... 😉
Funny...!!!! :)
@@tobiastho9639 I don't.
Know about all that tom tom put a laser fuel gauge in digdoug
@@tobiastho9639 tomtom worked on the banana and the heavy wreckerand the morvair and only Matt know to read fuel gauge
😂. I was going to say that also.

Thank you Robby and everyone for sharing this with me !
😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌
I love how everyone jumps right in and starts working as a team!
Matt is not a captain, he is the admiral!
What's wrong you didn't wanna sit in the back seat any longer with that guy who was zooted to the max? Lol
It was cool that Robbie never commented about that wacko. He probably got Stuck out there trying to link up with the
Mother Ship!
Yo that might have been my favorite recovery video yet. Yep it is. Plus the boss was in it!! Everyone loves the boss. Love you guys!!
Awesome job!! Ok it's driving me crazy that you're an auto body guy and your rear hatch is all smashed in. Lol
The show makers kids are always last to get shoes
Best recovery yet! I love the humorocity! Yeah, it's good Matt is teaching…
👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

I kept confusing Matt's wife with Hillbilly

Great time with Matt and Jaime...love that banter between the guys and gals.

I'm 52, and we used the ol tire iron as well, kids these days
I'm 60 and I remember tire irons. Thats why I use an impact now!

First station I work at,once in a while we get spilt rims in. Gas was .23.9 a gal
Matt built a vehicle with a WORKING fuel gauge? Inconceivable!
All Matt's fuel gauges work you just got to know how to read them. Full can be empty on some. LOL
Working fuel gage is 11% better 😳
Bonus points for Princess Bride reference "Inconceivable!"

Anyone else wondering why they weren't using ON-X Offroad exclusively to guide Sean in?
Was thinking .. If there was only a dedicated app for trails that could tell a person where to go. Hmmmm
Was wondering the same. Kinda got me questioning on X
Maybe Sean didn't have it on his phone?
Shaun doest use on x he uses apple maps did u hear robby telling u ,?

Amazing job on the recovery! It's always exciting to see Deja Blue in action. Keep up the great work! 💪
The best thing about this recovery is seeing the boss Demri in her all natural beauty. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The Heat got to Robby! There is no hiding irritation when it's hot. Luv ya! Love the offroad adventures!

1/2"-3/8" and 3/8"-1/2" adapters are a great, cheap thing to have stashed in all vehicles.
I can’t imagine Matt shouting at anybody 🤔😳 He seems such a calm and collected polite guy 🤩🫡

A great video with great people! 👍
Regards from Sweden 🇸🇪
Man it must be nice, to make a call and get any tool you want from Milwaukee. Good for you, Robbie.
Nice smooth recovery!! That's the way it's supposed to be done!! LOL!! Nice job Robby!!
I bet Robby just couldn't handle listening to the guy talk in the truck anymore lol
I saw Matt’s video and I know why you are riding on the trailer! 🤪

A fun day out with friends, gotta love it, especially when a plan comes together.😁
Yeah. A Team ✓

Don't forget to magic marker your recoveries on the roll cage!
You’re right Robbie, sometimes doing it right the first time means doing it twice before you even start.
Robby said “well you got one now. Get in!”
Beautiful scenery
The A team on the job! A win-win for everyone!!
Robby makes the videos so hilarious and interesting, absolutely love watching him and hillbilly 😂
LOVE the colabs!

Good idea. But can the market for them take having a new one out ?
Step one,Call Matt, step two, yell help!!😂😂😂
Thanks Guys
I don't understand why anyone, who is on call for recovery, dosen't fill their tank after each time they are called out.
Especially since they stopped at a station to get snacks/food anyway!
It's more Exciting. I really think that it has a new tank and sending unit, so it should be right. And probably seeing how many miles it gets till the light comes on, then how far till it's out .

Exactly
I do not recall there being a damaged rear door when you got it from back from Matt.
The best video you have ever made is when you collaborate. It raises viewership for all channels.
In the end that was still Jamie's idea from the start lol
This is the best show on earth
I think Matt wanted to ride in Deja Blue too!
Good to see Matt hugging Jamie…
Dory the Explory is looking good out there!
Great first recovery for the new rig, and a great mentor to guide you. Nice work and many more 😀🇺🇸
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
The real reason Robby left Blue Steel is that Matt's customer was a nutjob who wouldn't shut up.
Getting the 69 Charger when it’s done will be my first old car recovery too
I probably missed it but when are you going to fix that tail gate? Body shop guy, lol.

Robby get that back door and glass fixed!
nice colab, thanks.
Matt is looking like Gritty the Philadelphia flyers mascot!😂😂😂😂
Matt trusts Robby enough to be in the truck...but it was Matt's plan, Matt built the Jeep, and Matt was operating the winch from inside the truck.🤣
"Should we leave em!"
safety glasses on your hat .....funny!

Good morning America!!! 🇺🇸
At minute 12:42 there is a Confederate Flag on the dashboard 😅
Hey you want a headache? Just keep watching Robby and the Chipmunks.

You could always paint your jeep brown and call it the bad banana LOL
Robby, lets be honest, you rode in your Jeep on that trailer cause that customer was creeping you out
Hahaha I plead the 5th
Didn't he say something about seeing UFOs. But that wasn't the creepy thing . Then he got out and ran , que the Twilight Zone music
@robbylayton if it makes you feel any better I felt uncomfortable for you
Forget Deja Blue/Dory....it's the Blue Banana honoring it's MORR legacy
robby u are cool for a young dude
I am never disappointed watching a Robbie Layton video.
The three amigos,OMG
Robby please fix the rear door/tailgate. Come on, you own an auto body shop. …deja blue looks like it’s a Hillbilly car with that big dented door.
He explained that Fred is first. He needs Blue on the road while Fred is down. When Fred is done, it's Blue's turn.
Not until Fred is finished!
Leave it dented, you wiill always have comments 😂
Get a hatch from the junkyard. Keep the rain and dust out, ac in.
Yeah wouldn’t take very long to swap a used gate on it and paint it later
Robby singing a bit from Gypsy?? Very cool.
Im aware its too late but for future reference the 99-04 dana 50 and 60 stub shafts are the same
3/8s impact 3/8s to 1/2in adapter and 1/2in socket works great lol

Robbie's. Bonus level not white vehicle😂😂😂😂
I was discussed when they ran into the back Robbie's jeep, and I took think he fixed it.
Should call the business, Robby Laytons Traveling Circus, only thing missing was the costumes 😅
Is it larry curlie & mo ?? Or robby. , hillbilly & colton ??? Hmmmmm. Good show tho bahaha
Have you seen Hillbillies attire
20:06 wasn't necessary, but was needed for style points 😎😂
HILLBILLY!!! Love that guy.
Be sure Matt is there so he can hold your hand 😂😂
11:12 more like the other person was hurting your brain

Love this content. 2 powerhouse Teams crushing it together. Collaborations are the beeeest...
"NEVER Pass Gas."
Good show
That annoying back seat! Ha Ha.
I don’t think it was the back seat getting to you I think it was your ears and the headache in the back seat that was getting to you lol
Matt setting the scotch block, lol 20:30
Thats The Morrvair Music 😂
Awesome video

Matt has done at least 1 recovery before LOL. His recovery knowledge is awesome.
He is so passionate about teaching what he knows ✓
Would like to see Deja Blue and the Banana do a recovery together.
Yes
All the tools and cool gadgets... yet neither had a simple LUG WRENCH !! Along with a spare, and a jack, a lug wrench is given accessory item.
