How to play Ad-hoc multiplayer between a real PSP / Vita and PPSSPP emulator

- Hey guys , in this video I'll show you how to play Ad-hoc multiplayer between a real PSP / Vita and PPSSPP emulator using the Pro online plugin .
Shoutout to Chris_Thagreek for helping me with the setup !
NOTE :
1. I'm using my android phone as a hotspot without any password . I had tried using my WiFi but it gave errors all the time , your experience may vary . If you're using a WiFi , it might be better to enable UPnP on your router .
2. you need to use the same version of the game on both actual PSP and ppsspp emulator . if you're using the European copy of a game on PSP , using that same region in PPSSPP.
3. Not all games will work using this method as there are some games that use ports above 0 .
4. the same setup as the PSP can be done inside adrenaline PS Vita, to play Ad-hoc between Vita and PPSSPP.
5 . I have used the 6.60 version of Pro online plugin , and it's meant to be used only if you're running 6.60 or 6.61 cfw . If you're using any other firmware versions , comment them below 👇🏻
6. both PSP and Ppsspp needs to be connected to the same WiFi network / Hotspot .

Hi dude! I followed your tutorial and I tried with Gran Turismo. When both the ppsspp and the psp are ready to race on the psp I got a black screen after that a message that I lost the connection. The funny thing is on the ppsspp joined the race but after that the same message, maybe it’s a problem with the psp. I tried with other games (Ridge Racer, Motorstorm and OutRun) and worked perfect. Also you gained a new subscriber! 👍

Hello, I have a switch with ppsspp and the psp 2000, they don't connect even though I use a cell phone as a wifi network, they enter room 1 but they can't find each other, could you make a video on how to connect? I have tried mh 3rd and mh freedom unite

Oh , you don't need to follow this tutorial if it only involves emulating devices . It'll straight up work .
You just have to enable networking and multiplayer options in the ppsspp settings and boom , it'll just work
it freezes and then crash when I enter multiplayer mode

Yeah you don't need anything , just connect both the PSP and Vita to the same WiFi and start playing . As easy as that

@@kano7837 wait weren't you talking about connecting just the PSP and a vita ? If it involves Ppsspp then you'll have to do all the steps in my video on both the PSP and adrenaline on the vita

You'll have to lower it down to atleast WPA . Or use an Android hotspot
Hello I have a problem I don't have the seplugins file and GAME.txt file on my psp
Just create a new folder named seplugins in the root of your PSP.
And inside create a text file and name it GAME

I have no seplugins folder, I'm on cfw and it just doesn't exist. I've been waiting to do this for a while so help would be much appreciated!
You can create it yourself
Just create a new folder in the root of your PSP and name it SEPLUGINS.
Then inside SEPLUGINS folder , create a new text file and name it GAME

You can't , it's made specifically for the ppsspp in mind
how would this work on a vita, do you need a second device or can you just use the vita's wifi for the plugin?

It is possible, but instead of using a local server like I did in this video , you'll need to use a custom server in the server.txt .
Look up for socom.cc , it's a custom server which you can use to play games online between ppsspp and PSP/Vita
I have a question, but can I play online on PSP with a friend of mine who uses ppsspp via zerotier? because when I want to create a lobby on Gran Turismo for PSP it instantly crash me, is there a solution?

The phone having ppsspp and the phone giving hotspot need to be different. So basically you'll need to have 2 Android phones

Yes it should be possible , and will be way easier than this .

Yeah it was necessary for me to do all this to get it working . But how'd you do it ?
@@pspmav I just get my PSP, and connect with my PC by adhoc. The only thing I changed was that I enabled my adhoc on PPSSPP, but that was years ago, maybe something changed... I dunno. BY THE WAY, you know what kind of tutorial would be great in your channel? How to get to work in long distances adhoc con PSP/PS Vita. You know, not having to be close to each other.
I've read that is possible in reddit with PS Vita using a program, but the tutorials are not like yours!
@@darwinescorcia7740 that too is possible , by replacing the IP address inside the server.txt with the address of a custom server . I'll consider making a guide on that as well , one day

@@pspmav android hostpsot, i try using wifi and conecting the android wiith the pc on the same wifi. That worked.
The android to real psp "works" but wierd things happen like, in mhfu the 2second player is invisible but is liested on the game
@@pspmav i know what was happening now, i was using one android device as a hotsopot to the other android connects.
The solution was connect them in the same wifi, the same applys with the real psp

you just need to configure the ad hoc settings and click on the game sharing in the xmb ( psp menu, its in the game section)

Same steps as the PSP. You need adrenaline , get the same game inside adrenaline . Then install the plugin and the hotspot and server texts ( that too in adrenaline ) .
Pretty much the same process as PSP , just using adrenaline

Yeah I had mentioned it in the description , some games uses ports other than 0 , GTA VCS probably uses a different port , hence why it doesn't work

Yes , but it's not actually my real IP . That's just a local IP address , meaning it changes all the time and is just a temporary one

Ipv4 is the local IP which your which your router assigns and is different from your actual static IP address

It freezes when you simply enter the game or when you try to start multiplayer? Also which PSP model?
