This was awesome to watch Ben, I did some flight training out of Turweston in G-BORK and on my first flight we flew to Sywell. I live 10 miles from Sywell so this was all very familar. Great video as always!
Nice little hop! Wonder if for one of these you'd consider doing a brief intro about your flight planning - like 2 mins on choosing route, weather, maps, PPR etc.
I'm sorry but if I'd been that controller I wouldn't have been able to resist asking "Romeo Romeo wherefore art thou Romeo" Great vid as always looking forward to the next one👍👍👍
Have you even flown to Enstone? It’s a really nice airfield and its not too far from Sewell, probs between 30-45 mins flight. Really nice airfield - definitely recommend.
Me Watching Plane Old Ben video: "Ah, suction gauge showing nothing below cruise power setting... Just a Cessna thing... no need to worry. Oh, I'm looking at the suction gauge again. I. MUST. STOP. STARING. AT. THE. SUCTION. GAUGE. Nice views. Hope I'll have occasion to check that vacuum gauge in next cut. Nice radio work. How's the suction gauge doing..."
I’m internet famous! I was in Golf Golf Echo doing the radio call as you was on final. If you’d have landed 10 minutes sooner I’d have made you a brew 🙂
Ben I have a question; is it fine if i want to become a commercial pilot to do the instrument rating in a SEP and then only the MEP rating ( because if you do IR/MEP it is much more expensive that if you do the IFR training in a SEP and then the MEP). Thank mate, nice video.
If you did your IR in an SEP it would only be valid in an SEP so you would not be able to fly IFR in a multi engine... So if your intention is to be an airline pilot you would need to do it in a multi engine.

Ben when you fly into Wycombe I recommend a really short hop from Wycombe to Denham (EGLD) a lot of restrictions in Denham.
Do love Sywell Ben, bit bias as I learnt to fly there, in fact my instructor Irwin was taxiing out in G-JUGE as you were on Final!
Oh awesome! I love that place.
Love the vids. Im doing my ppl just now so very helpful.

Nice little flight that Ben. My very first nav was Turweston-Sywell-Henlow so this one caught my eye. Cheers!
Oh brilliant, it was a really good short flight.
Well put together as usual. Lovely views and nice looking Spitfire
Cheers Charlie!
Love your channel! I'm learning to fly myself and did my first takeoff today, can't wait to get my PPL!
That’s awesome well done in your first take off!
Good luck on the programme to be airborne.

Quick one Ben. Do we have to ask for a basic service from an AGCS?

All that and a Spitfire too? Did you buy a lottery ticket that night?
The Grace Spitfire, if I'm not mistaken.
