GP just recently reintroduced the 38mm on their website. It’s only available in a sunray copper, but I have a feeling that they’ll be releasing more colorways in the near future. Glad they brought it back in the 38.

I'm surprised all the 38mm models discontinued? I was just looking at them and they're all still listed on the GP website...odd

Yes I found exactly the same thing a few months ago. Doesn’t make sense, but spoke to the AD and some grey market dealers who sadly confirmed its true

Do you think it will fit nicely on a 7 inch wrist ?

    nice to meet you
Next time I will buy the same watch for 1820000 Japanese Yen.
    Is it expensive or cheap?
    my wrist is 16.5 cm
    38 inch is ok
    Is 42 inch better?

I had to buy grey market and paid a premium. Well worth it as the watch quality is worth the retail and then some. And very few examples around which makes it hard to get !

I have seen this GP in person and I must say that you're exagerating in your opinions. This is one of those AP like overrated timepieces out there, fully hyped, I bought a German Wempe iron walker lately at a fraction of the price of the laureato and comparing them side by side the iron walker is more tastefully and well thought design in comparison although the mechanism inside may not be as meticulously polished like laureato since it's a eta but at that price who cares. The real showmanship of Wempe is that how they designed the case and the bracelet and it's a genuine knock out in mid tier luxury timepieces. It's a solid testimony that luxury doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg.

It's undoubtedly a good watch but it shares too much of a design language of the Royal Oak and Nautilus... If it's waffle dial was slightly more unique or distinguishable, the bracelet different and the hands unique, then they'd have something that could rival the others... Instead, despite it being a hell of a watch, it's like an alternative or poor man's version... It's so close to being perfect...

The GP has a Clous de Paris dial whereas the AP had the grande tapisserie - google the difference. I prefer the GP, but take a look and let me know your thoughts!!

Poor man’s version? This is a luxury watch…. Nothing about them “poor” go read first the history. Then comment. It’s older than the nautilus… If everyone had this watch you’d be on the bandwagon.

Your entitled to your opinion. On the great market they are currently posted for close to double retail and upwards… and it’s not all about value …
