I recommend going to camps that will have more than one college coach attending. If it's just one school it will most likely be a money grab but other schools mean that all the cosches are coming to this group to recruit players
I coach NJCAA D1. My one day camp is $30. I just got 5 players from last Saturday to commit to my program. Over 70% of my players have come to a one day I.D. clinic be it because I asked them or that's how I found them. So it's worth it for me to hold, but isn't used to raise money... obviously. Some of the NCAA schools I see charge a crazy amount and have a lot of kids and may take a couple. You do the math. It's 100% worth it to attend one day clinics/camps, but doesn't hurt to ask what the percentage of players who enter the program come through the camps. I also won't take players I don't see play and meet in person.

Dont do that instead just sign up for the big leagues in Europe, u can def get into some bundesliga or teams pretty easily as you are in Europe. America is not the best decision for a route to the big leagues
When you say that in 2019 there are other ways than just a camp to play college soccer. What do you exactly mean? Also is a highlight video a way? Good video man 👍
Edgar Castillo, I know your comment was 2yrs ago B4 the world stopped COVID. Curious what yr in HS were you when you rec'd 5 College Offers from 1 College Showcase? What Co put it on? Respectfully, was it 5 Colleges you heard of or had any interest whatsoever? Or was it generic teasers, offers? I'm a Soccer Mom learning as we go. In general, seems like male athletes don't grasp intensity of time & effort just in basics of sending out highlight videos, reaching out to Colleges, then all the follow up, "Official" visits, etc. Overwhelming.
For the next 5 minute Friday and you tell us what club, realistically(clubs like Liverpool), that you would like to play for? I know your trying to get your first contract so you can't be choosy but what is your dream club? Thanks!

It just depends on the player. I was never really choosy with what college I wanted to attend. All I wanted was a program that gave me a good chance to start my freshman year, that was in a competitive league/conference and could offer a decent scholarship. If you're seriously interested in the school then you probably want those 3 days to explore your surroundings and see if it makes sense to pursue a scholarship there. Just understand though that most college coaches can gauge a players skill level in a 90min session (1 day camp) though.
Play every single day. Or try to at least, it's okay to have a few days off if your overall fatigued or hanging with friends but try every day. 2 hours a day at least. Also slowely begin to add healthy habits in your life. Regardless if they are football (soccer) involved or not. -college soccer player attempting to play pro.
Created a complete individual training schedule with workouts and drills that would have allowed me to master my weaknesses at an earlier age. The biggest problem I had was I thought that making my training plan on a day in, day out basis was acceptable. You need to map out all of your goals/weaknesses and implement an extremely structured plan into place in order to achieve your desired results.
