He’s looking at where the closure begins. Tioga pass is around 9000 feet and most times it opens up in late may or June. But the amount of snow this season and they have to plow feet of snow and ice. Michigan does not have 8 to 9 thousand feet mountain passes.
It’s not closed till end of July. It should be opening in the next couple weeks. Later this month. And, Yosemite Natl Park is not California. It’s Federal land. And, Michigan does not get anywhere close to the amount of snowfall as does the Sierra range in California. Just setting thee record straight.

In Michigan they don’t get 450-600 inches of snow.
