replace the vga cable sometimes this cable gets damaged over time you don't notice it replace this cable and you will get the best resolution supported by your monitor

The issue is my monitor doesn't support 1920x1080 instead it supports 1440x900. So the issue is for some unknown reason for a few days I can't set my monitor resolution to 1440x900 cause it doesn't even exist in the setting. And my recommended resolution is showing 1920x1080 whice is not my monitor resolution.

none work for me i got an gforce 2060 super and a second monitor ASUS ProArt. But in this computer it only allows 1027x768 But on other computers work fine. I even tryed the CRU tool.
@@Zxt_tube Solved for me. Just make sure your using an HDMI Cable instead of "DisplayPort" on the monitor with the issue. I have the same cables has before (one DisplayPort->DisplayPort and the other HDM->HDMII) but after I changed the cables on the monitor end, it worked fine. hope it helps.
My case is little complicated, I have a laptop core i5 4210u that has an integrated gfx card, and the monitor supports upto QHD 2560x1600 while the most i can get out of the gfx card is 1080p (1920x1200), is there any tool that i can use to force the gfx card to go upto QHD 2560x1600 that I am trying to achieve on my external 30 inch monitor DELL U3011

Did you check display, advanced display, display adapter properties, list all modes?
