Pattern: docs.google.com/document/d/1J695tDTNN_0G_MHQoZReC7Ec9WSBFeTZJJ4yrhlgt5c/edit?usp=sharing The Corded Ridge Crochet Stitch is one of those stitches you want to run your hand across. The 3D effect of the ridges offers a cool look that is fun to play with using different colors or all the same color. The reason this pattern is categorized as an intermediate level pattern is because you will be working this entire pattern without turning your work. All rows are worked on the same side meaning that your corded ridge row is worked in a reverse stitch. Follow along with me as I show you a slow demonstration on how to do this crochet stitch. It may feel awkward at first but once you get the hang of it this stitch moves pretty quickly. ***Tip: You can slow down the video if I am going too fast by IF WATCHING FROM A COMPUTER: on the bottom right hand side of the video clicking on the gear shape icon. Oh absolutely! I was thinking the same thing. This stitch does look more masculine and would make a GREAT men's scarf! If you give this a try please send me a picture! would love to see how it turns out for you. 😊🧡🧶
Oooohhhhh, Great question! I'm thinking that this pattern here is one that I would want to bring focus to. So if I were to do a border I would want the border to also bring the focus to the main part of the blanket. Maybe using a simple single crochet of half double crochet border would do the trick. 😊🧡🧶
This stitch is all about the angle. If anyone is having issues with the no turn part (like I am 😂), try just working the stich like she says, but turn it sideways so you're working the stitches up the row. Whether you work into the back or the front depends on if youre working them up or down the road. The end result is the same, except it's so much easier! I hope this makes sense. If anyone understands but has a better way of explaining, go for it. Haha
It's a bit deceiving. It almost looks like it's just being twisted on the reverse stitch as you are pulling it back through. This may have to be my next project just to prove to myself I can do this. 😄

I do the reverse sc for the edging on my projects. Always wondered if it could be worked into a pattern. Thank you. I love e.
Good morning from kentucky ❤ what border might you recommend with this beautiful stitch?

@@CrochetWithTiffany thank you sweet Tiff ❤
I think a full double it will add thickness to border and make it pop 😎
