Which raises wages, allows mobility, allows for advancement, and gives people dignity. "This is about unconditional, universal, guaranteed advanced standard of living in the United States of America". If you had to sum everything up in one sentence, this is it. Thank you AOC.
That's not a very good summary statement, it's a good pie in the sky type statement that includes the public paying to house crackheads. I would say that Bernie offers a path to a more representative Congress, if and only if we get campaign finance reform. Presidents don't write legislation, pass it, or fund it. So he assures a couple puzzle pieces like insurance. But he won't accomplish half of what he proposes, which is fine, I like the tone.
As someone who can comment on the internet, this doesn't affect me. Fuck her and her poor argumentation.
@@johnsmith1474 Even crackheads could have a better standard of living sorry. Maybe they're not thrown in jail for years, maybe they can get proper help. A good system can handle crackheads. Calm down.
@@BLTspace - Please don't tell me to calm down, I am telling you what you seem to not know about the real America. If you wish to house a crackhead, you are free to be that generous, and I wish you and the addict the best for that. However for you to tell me I have to pay out of my labor to house a crackhead, you are trying to be the boss of me, and I would resist that. Apparently you do not work for a living? I'd be happy to take great care of decent people who are trying or having an emergency, but a dope addict or crackhead can live under a bridge outside of town and we can drive by in a food truck and throw them a bag of rice and beans ever four days and my conscience would be clear. Charity should be voluntary.
@@johnsmith1474 Your taxes already help crackheads in some way or another I hate to tell you. You want to hold a clipboard and check off who gets what and who doesn't. That in fact makes the system less efficient and cost even more. There's write offs and overhead built into good systems. It's cheaper to clean our streets and get efficient. The amount of taxes you might pay doesn't change if we decide to ignore crackheads. It's literally a non issue.

Yea but what if someone wants to pay 50% of their paycheck for "silver" coverage then die because your cancer treatment is "out of network" and your family gets sidled with your funeral and medical expenses for the next 3 generations.
What if someone wants to ""choose"" that? (Because they've been kept systemically ignorant to their own human rights.)
@Sudhir Kakar Ya. It is the same right for others to go to war and die for your safety. Others pay for your education in a public school. Others also pay for your treatments when you are sick. You pay to others just as others pay to you.
@Sudhir Kakar Yes! That's how insurance works! That's how all insurance works right now!
@Sudhir Kakar "right" implies choice, but there is no choice when it comes to getting insurance if you want to survive illness and injury without facing bankruptcy. The human condition requires that we all get Healthcare, why not pool it under one massive non-profit block and get undeniable negotiating power against Healthcare providers and pharmaceutical companies? No wonder government health care is polling in the United States, and in countries that already have government health care, it is also massively popular. M4A is the way!
This makes me very happy hope she becomes president after him.

When during the Trump administration the bottom 1/5th of wage earners had their incomes rise the fastest of all groups. That was the first time that had happened since the George W Bush administration.
Because both Trump and W. used Kennedy's theory of using lower taxes, less immigration, deregulation, and smaller government to tighten up the labor market. Which raises wages, allows mobility, allows for advancement, and gives people dignity.
Compare that to the Democrat policies of using high taxes, over regulation, open immigration, and big government to put permanent slack into the labor market. Which drives down wages and drives up housing prices at the same time, to the point tens of millions of people don't have any money left over at the end of the month. And it's the low wages at the bottom that allows the excesses at the top, causing the wealth gap.
Raising the bottom 1/5th of wage earners wealth relative to everyone else is something liberals will never be able to do because of their policies.
Whether unwittingly or intentionally, Bernie and AOC's policies are the cause of the wealth gap.
If Bernie and AOC actually cared about poor and working class people, Bernie and AOC would be Kennedy/Reagan conservatives.
