    Glad I took a chance though as this one is amazing! Hope this helps some people out.

    After making this video, the developers let me try out their beta version that allows for doubles and harder swings. Not sure when these items are going to go live and a bit buggy now but it is reassuring that more features are being added and the game is only going to continue to improve.

      Dude, get yourself a portable battery. It can extend the use for 8-16 hours depending on how much weight you want at the back of the headset.
      You can safely use an anker powercore 10,000 PD redux for 6 more hours, with a total of 8 hours.
      The 20,000 mAH anker powercore can extend it for up to double. It can also be safely used.
      You can attach them all with velcro to the back of the headset as a counterweight. Also dont forget getting a small type c cable to connect it to the heaset as well. I got a 1.5 foot cable.
      Have fun with the quest 2. Hopefully this helps or you were already aware of this solution 👍

    What I want to know is whether the AI can actually play quick low shots? What I'm seeing here is easy kill shots, especially if I can get top spins to work consistently, but even flat flick shots or smashes should be easy to execute at this level. It seems like the physics of this game slows down your shots too much, which ruins a lot of the immersion for me, and makes it look like it's much harder than it should be to get a kill shot in. I will buy it though, as it's the best game out there.

      You seem like a way better player than me so it will be hard for me to answer your question however I have seen other league players use this game with the ball machine to practice. Good thing Eleven Table Tennis doesn't have this issue, I even actively get match requests from players while playing with bots. They're friendly, willing to teach and will even clap for you for a good shot.
    Coming from a player who has never played table tennis before, I think I just awoken a new passion. This is the only game taking all my VR play time from my other games. When I'm done, I had already sweat buckets.

    • @4PlayGG
      @4PlayGG  3 года назад +6

      There is a wide range of players in Eleven. As a mid range player I have both crushed and been crushed in the game lol. To find someone around your skill level check their rankings before challenging them and don't be afraid to try ranked matches where crazy spin serves are not as abundant due to the stricter tossing rules. Also be sure to play those only with full green bars. Any unnecessary latency in a game like this is troublesome. If it were a game of billiards for ex. It doesn't matter as much. As for spins themselves, I was taught by watching the movement of the opponents racket, you'll have a better understanding on how to return the ball. Most new players try to aim at the middle of the table because it's a safe choice to not miss although if there is a crazy side spin, if you aim for the middle you are likely to miss the table entirely. So if the opponents racket is sliding to your left when they hit it, aim for the right side of the table to land it and vice versa. If the racket is sliding upwards indicating top spin be aware after the bounce the ball is likely to travel further and increase the downward angle of the return shot. Vice versa for underspin. If you want to learn how to combat spins before trying to spin yourself, turn the spin setting on your racket all the way down. This should simulate more or a hardwood paddle face where spins won't affect you as much but also you yourself cannot put much spin on the ball. I have found playing players with best connections is the best way to learn in general while being able to read the racket. With over 200ms latency you may be unable to see opponent racket movement at all.

      I recommend some of the tutorials online. Tom Lodziak has some good free videos on RUclips as well as a full course on Udemy that is pretty cheap.
      Other good ones are PingSkills and Expert Table Tennis. You also can do drills against the ball machine in Eleven.

    • @4PlayGG
      @4PlayGG  3 года назад

      Sounds like you may have gotten this game very early on. There is solo mode against computers that can be set at various difficulties also other single play modes (ball machine, folded table etc.)
      Frame rate doesn't seem to be an issue at least anymore. If you were to have issues visual issues now I would say thats more likely due to hardware limitations/settings or poor online connection to opponents when playing against live players.

    Also, very first person I went up against tried to teach me how to play like a pro and use a spin. Recommended practice. Im terrible at all of it but gradually getting better 😂 i have an issue with overshooting and undershooting. Inconsistent serves. You have to get a feel for it.
