With its history in Japanese cinema, I'm shocked they would even _handle_ a suit, much less allow someone try a part of a costume on. If they're made of foam rubber, those costumes won't last long without being in more environmentally-controlled storage.

God its so beautiful seeing all that history preserved and the present day seeing the monster stronger than ever. I definitely need to go to the hotel at some point in my life.
Even if the preserved suits are vaulted Im sure there has to be a museum.
I was kinda surprised by the physical maquettes of the Earth/Legendary Godzilla's, seeing Legendary Goji well-lit next to all those gorgeous suits gives me an even greater appreciation for the design (It'll never happen but I'd love to see how a wearable suit built in that design would look)
I think some things here where props used for things like conventions and exhibitions

My all-time top character. Toho, more movies, please. I just wish I were younger. I would travel to Japan and see everything I could see related to Godzilla. And I would rent that hotel room . Alas, age has made me mobility impaired and somewhat oxygen-dependant. I must visit these places via RUclips and my dreams.
Many of the suits still look good for how old they are. Like the Godzilla Jr one from 1995 ( 3:22 )

I perceive it's a statue, or a replica. Not the original. Still really good. The original original original Gojira 1954 suit is long gone. Ceases exist anymore. One of the suits washed up somewhere I heard this as rumor it washed up n gave old woman a heart attack. They didn't specify which Godzilla suit. It might be one of the suits from the 50's or 60's. Nobody knows. There supposed be lost Godzilla suits out there nobody is aware. Ones 1957 unmade Godzilla film. Lost Godzilla 1990's suit; more. Nobody knows where these suits are. Especially 1957 one. Or stolen 90's heisei suit. 1954 is long gone.

Yeah I wish I go to the Godzilla workshop and try out a Godzilla costume it could be cool if I wear a Godzilla costume I’m a huge Godzilla fan and I actually know about the movement of Godzilla to me I could wear the costume I could just destroyed cities but I need to ask permission from toho

Man. I'd give almost anything just to be in front of Toho Studios and take a picture. Or at least in front of the hotel that has the full-size Godzilla statue. Mayhaps one day before I leave this mortal coil.

@@gabmoreno280 I had to watch them a couple of times as I kinda didn't catch on the first time around. After a second rewatch, they actually got really good...then a third time for the cheer enjoyment...

If it wasn't a statue it would probably be a costume for promotional events at the time.
What is the issue? Probably Legendary gave to them, because was a American movie made doesn't mean that the IP owners can't have original material from a authorized project with them.

How are the suits preserved for so long? I thought a lot of the original suits rotted away, I saw a suit from Mothra vs Godzilla in there.
which one? aside from showa mechagodzilla, all costumes are from the heisei era at earliest and then some things here are recreations
