I find it kind of worrying the developers haven't showcased much in a while, but then I remember Godzilla's anniversary is just around the corner on November 3rd, so I'm hoping they have something BIG planned for the occasion.
I don't think I'm the only one who felt a sense of nostalgia, love and delight with what you just did.

I loved this intro so much as a kid, I'd even let the game sit so I could watch the intro turn on over and over again.
Your efforts are beyond compare; brand new processors, remaking/ updating models, custom animations, using a motion capture suit, AND JUST SO MUCH MORE. I cannot praise your efforts enough, good sir. I sincerely hope this pays off bigtime, not sure how, but I hope it happens!

I never played any of the Pipeworks Godzilla games, but the sheer amount of passion and commitment to this recreation is astounding, even going as far as doing motion capture for Godzilla’s model for authenticity! You went above and beyond with your animation skills and it shows! This is your best Godzilla fan animation by far! 😱

I'm not sure if you know but there's a mod called Godzilla: Save the Earth Melee which is basically like a revamp of the original game with more fluid movements, updated models and eventually they plan on adding in characters that weren't in the original game. Definitely worth looking into and keeping tabs on, looks fun asf!
I've always liked how all the monsters are causing some kind of damage to the city or trying to attack Godzilla, but then Gigan is just kinda flying around like "WHEEEE" 😂
Its nice to know thats theres still a dedicated community and fans to these games, they really captured the spirit of Godzilla back then, and are the best Godzilla games ever made. I just remember having so much fun playing them on emulators on my computer. Hopefully someday we'll get a new game thats a sequel to them, made by the same developer. We deserve a good Godzilla game, and we havent gotten it since 2007.

Ditto on All Monsters Attack being a good movie. It's only downfall is all the stock footage. The manga adaptation has some cool stuff not in the film like a fight with Gorosaurus.

Good Lord the animation was top tier! I have to say it's very impressive and truly a upgrade to what the Original Animation was back in the mid 2000s. If Pipeworks ever remakes the Godzilla Trilogy they should have some graphics like this! Or even better! Props Filmcore your animations are always top tier!

Thank you so much! And yeah I wasn't sure if to make it accurate to the cinematic or movie, so I opted cinematic. Thought it worked better though if not both kiryu and ghidorah would be firing lightning from their mouths

This recreation of the Godzilla: Save The Earth opening cinematic is amazing. It’s clear you put in a lot of effort to make it right. Keep up the incredible work. I can’t wait to see what you do in the future.
Pretty amazing! However, I do have one point of criticism: there's a certain stiffness to your animation compared to the original. This is most evident in the Kiryu part where Kiryu sorta just stands there for a bit after getting beaten in the beam battle. The original, despite its age, had a bit more smooth flow with the micro-movements of the main monsters.

The StE intro was fantastic - when starting up the game, I almost always let it play out since it was such a hype cinematic. Seeing a modern rendition of it warms my heart, and it was really interesting seeing the breakdown of how you made it at the beginning. Amazing work!

When I was little, I remember watching this intro hundreds of times while playing, I loved it so much I taped it using my VCR and sent it to a friend, we both lost our minds! 😂 Great effort man, love the motion capture and effects. As a CG artist myself, I dream of one day being able to make things like this.

I played this game obsessively when I was just a few years older than you, and it had a similar formative effect on me. You did a fantastic job bringing it into the modern era and I am VERY much looking forward to your original output, especially if there's more mocap involved. It almost feels like the future of tokusatsu.
I clicked on this video out of curiosity for the workflow. I ended up having a big dumbass smile on my face like a kid when I saw the remake. Save the Earth was the first Godzilla media I ever consumed and to this day adore the opening as well as the menu screen where Godzilla is being monitored underwater.
We really need a remake of that game someday on unreal 5 or unreal 6 (if it's that far into the future)

Had no idea anyone else loved this intro! Seriously it’s like permanently engraved in my brain, my brother, dad, and I would all play this game on the Xbox constantly. Trying to unlock all the monsters was so much fun.
