So cool! I've stayed at the Hotel Gracery Shinjuku but couldn't get the Godzilla Room, as it is so hard to book, so I just got a regular room (which was still very nice). Thanks for making this video and letting us all live vicariously through you!
We got some different stuff in our Swag Bag, I guess they mix it up, but the coolest thing was a gold Godzilla Room coin with our names and date of stay engraved on it.

Great job, Rob.

Thank you! Unfortunately, there's only one Godzilla Room. It's like the penthouse suite. However, there are several Godzilla View Rooms where you can see the life sized Godzilla Head outside your window looking in at you. The Godzilla Room is usually booked a few months out in advance and you can only reserve it from the hotel's Japanese site. With a little help from Google Translate, I was able to book it pretty easy.

There is only one Godzilla Room, which is the one you see in the video. However, there are multiple Godzilla View Rooms, which are standard rooms that have a view of the life size Godzilla Head out the window. Honestly, those rooms are also pretty amazing. There's nothing like waking up to see Godzilla looking at you through the window. And unlike the Godzilla Room, which is about $500 USD per night, the View Rooms are the same price as the other standard rooms. You can check out my review of one here: ruclips.net/video/NE4HI8Vs9Wg/видео.html
I booked the majority of my trip through Expedia. Because I only stayed at one hotel, the Gracery Shinjuku, I was able to get a really good rate on a standard room plus airfare. Keep in mind, that was just for a standard room, not the Godzilla Room. For 7 nights and roundtrip airfare, I spent about $2,000 (which is a steal!). The Godzilla Room was separate and can only be booked through the Japanese version of the hotel's website. It costs about $458 USD per night to stay there. So that's about $2,500 just for hotel and the flight. If you plan on visiting anywhere else outside of walking distance from the hotel (and you will) I recommend you get a Japan Railway pass. The JR is the absolute best way to travel anywhere, whether it's to another city or just throughout Tokyo. It costs around $250. It's good for 7 days at a time (you can buy longer ones for more money) and is invaluable during your trip. So altogether, including basic expenses like food and such, I spent a grand total of around $3,200 for 8 days in Japan. Which is not bad! I went back the following year for 16 days and spent roughly double that, so the math should check out. Food is actually pretty cheap in Japan (and delicious). But everything costs, so be prepared to spend about that much. Good luck!

Do all people there speak Japanese or is there some English speaking people there
Most people in the touristy areas speak a little English. But then, I've traveled from Tokyo to Osaka and never had any real problem with people not being able to understand me. If someone doesn't speak English at a restaurant, hotel or shop, they'll usually find someone for you who can.
@@KaijuRob but do most people at the hotel speak English?
@@redskeleton9204 Yes, all the front desk staff at the hotel speak English. They are very friendly and courteous, too!
@@KaijuRob neat well I guess some day when I save enough money I can go there thanks for the answers to my questions
You're welcome!
I WANT TO BE IN THAT ROOM!!
how much was it to be there
It cost around $500 USD to stay one night in the Godzilla Room, but it was well worth it.
+KaijuRob It would be nice if I could go there.
EL TUBE TV fernadi yes?
It wasn't that much when we went there, and the "regular" hotel rates are quite affordable.
How expensive is it to book this room
8:37 *ah yes taking a shit in the super x three I’ve always dreamed of doing that*
Are these all the rooms or is it one special room?
This makes me want to go to Tokyo
If I get over 20 likes I’ll go to Tokyo
For just about 1 person
No, there are two beds. One person can stay there, but it's a two person room. $458 USD would cover one to two people.
Thank you
How much money I’d the Godzilla head because I wanna buy it?
Have you seen the new Godzilla movie this year?
What floor is the room on?
I missed it in the video, it’s on the 30th floor

It costs about $500 per night to stay in the Godzilla Room, but you can only reserve it through the Japanese version of the hotel's website. I was able to book it with a little help from Google Translate.
I need to stay in that hotel room
Go for it, man! You will not regret it!
This dude: *says destroyer instead of destroyah
Godzilla fans: >:(
BROOO IN SEPTEMBER 1 2016 I WAS THERE MEANS YOU ARE RECORDING WHILE I WAS THERE XD
You guys should go there, its out of this world
Get it cuz we live in Godzilla's world
Do you need tho book the room or did you say it at the Reception??
You have to book the room through the hotel's official website (not the English version). It's in Japanese and can be tricky to navigate. The Godzilla room costs about $458 per night and is usually booked about 3 months ahead. So if you're planning a trip there, it's best to book well in advance!
Thanks
Wow
How much money do I have to sacrifice in order to go here 🤣
458 usd i think
that place is amazing, can we live in the rooms
