Garden of Salvation Chests do NOT reward raid weapons. That is an error on my part, apologies & thanks to the comments for bringing it to my attention.
Even if you have weapons unlocked in your collections it seems to only drop armour & mods.
If you haven't done any of the raids and earned some loot, I believe Last Wish chest is the only chest that you can get loot from. You can get spoils only otherwise
That's why Vault of Glass keeps only giving me spoils because I've never played it let alone Beat It
Yep, and as others have said, Garden of Salvation secret chests don't reward weapons even if you have had them all drop in the raid before. @@byrongrimsley500

Didn’t get spoils from LW chest also did DSC since it’s featured and didn’t get spoils from that either
For VoG there's a video on YT that gives you the post-Templar CP. This allows you to get all 4 chests (1st chest without having to do opening encounter, 1st secret chest, 2nd secret chest in Gorgon's Maze and final chest). This gives you 20 spoils per character (60 in total).

Visiting this to just check out the vault of glass chests and actually I believe they will be even better in final shape as I thinking they're gonna add vog weapons to be craftable
tips for vault of glass opening encounter after popping 2 praetorian head try to not run so fast otherwise praetorian will lost track on you and get back on plate, this happend to me alot of time for running too fast
Crota's End will only give you weapons or armour that you have unlocked. Red border drops are possible. So if you haven't done the raid you'll only get spoils and mods.
in vog if you fall on a platform after the loading zone you can go back a bit the way you came from there will have a other load zone to retry the first one no need to restart from th bigening still one of the best if not video out there

Its still pretty tough to do first encounter solo. Cyclops can 2 shot. Its much much easier to grab a post templar cp which will allow you to get all 4 secret chests for 60 spoils, just from vog.

I tried to use the strat here. You’re right. It’s VERY difficult. Haven’t been able to pull it off ☹️
Have to ask; what happens if you did NOT get that door area on Root of Nightmares chest 5? I am on PC here and I have only did it one time while the others are NOT having success.

Vow is faster if you drive through the first 2 notes, die then and drive to the 3rd. sometimes you're not fast enough and die after the 3rd but even then, it's faster.
But not as much fun 😈

why kill the adds in vow of the deciple? Just drive trough. When you die you respawn at the same spot. So there is no need to clear the adds. It´s way faster!

Quick question: If I buy myself a "Tyranny of Heaven" from Mara Sov this week - will I then be able to farm it like this afterwards? I have done the full raid once, but it did not drop for me.
Last Wish secret chests can reward you both weapons and armour without completing any encounter or having the weapons in your collection. So unfortunately no that wouldn’t work.

Can you get deepsights by buying weapons with spoils after the guaranteed deepsight out of the raid chest? I don't see why you couldn't since the drop rate is already low but I heard people complaining you can't get any from there.
I believe you cannot I spent all my spoils before 240 and only got the guaranteed one
Yeh unfortunately you can only buy the guaranteed 1 a week. You can buy more for rerolls.
I give up of trying to jump the gap in last wish with titan, warlock and hunter worked just fine but titan Sheesh I wanna cry lol
The Titan method is a bit finicky I agree, but with practise it gets better. Good luck 👊🏼
me and my buddy tried the Vow of the disciple and the 3 things you shoot were not there? was this disabled?
U only get weapons if u complete the raid once u can only get wat u already got from a raid In any raid chest apart from last wish one that can drop I think .not 100 percent sure on that tho

There’s an OOB glitch at the start of crota, you don’t need another guardian to get down to the abyss encounter.
True, but without doing opening encounter you only get few seconds to move freely in Abyss before you die. Not enough time to reach the chest.

Had to stop by, as a crayon eating main, that Titan flying is all that's needed for LW. If you do it right, and have enough ammo, you can sword fly straight to the chest. No super needed.

You can still get weapons, armour and mods from Last Wish without completing any encounters. I’d suggest running that every week for chances of red borders!

No, secret chests can only be collected once per character weekly. But the featured raid encounters are farmable.
The time it takes to get the root chest , i can just run the encounter
With the time it takes to get ready for social activity and being able to deal with other people and put together a loadout etc it doesn’t, shit will take me hours of prep. Way less time investment overall even if the encounter itself takes longer, because I don’t have to deal with the time and stress of group finding/peopling and the recovery period after from people being exhausting to be around
Do these still work? I tried a few and got no spoils?
Some of them require the raid to be featured. RoN, VoW, Crota, and VoG all give spoils from the chest. All others shown require the raid to be featured in order to get the spoils. (: hope this helps!
I didn’t think the secret chests in Garden of Salvation could drop weapons? I thought it was just armour and mods for that raid
Depends if you’ve actually done the raid at least once and gotten at least 1 weapon from it
@@gengarclefairy3475 it’s just armour I believe, if you’ve never ran the raid & gotten armour pieces then it will give you a mod (unless it’s been changed recently and I completely missed that)
Upon some research it does seem like they only reward armour and mods.

It's likely you entered the wrong symbol which is pretty easy to do especially on Morgeth because the one of the dragons have a staff while the other one doesn't and can be easily missed. Try the wish again and step on the plate. I usually spend like a couple mins just making sure all the symbols are correct lol

Unfortunately not. You’ll have to do the first encounter then you can get 1st on all 3.

I don't think you can get weapons from the GoS chests. I have only ever gotten armor from them

No spoils from shiro chi chest
In VOW I only got armour mods 😏
I dont get any weapons or armour from the first chest,and only 5 spoils..
You first need to acquire loot from the raid by completing an encounter to add rewards to the chest pool otherwise you’ll only get spoils.
So if you haven't done any raids before:
Lash wish chests rewards raid loot but no spoils
Vow of the disciple chest gives you just spoils.
Anything else, they'll just drop maybe a raid mod and be done with it.
Dunno about vault of glass tho
I've just ran the VOW x3 and I got raid mod, spoils and weapons.
For the vault of glass chests just sparrow breach under a rock down to the right of the entrance with an eager edge sword and/or a grapple

it's faster to do it with a lfg and get 6 chests than do this sparrow thing for 3 chests
It would seem they patched the bug walking backwards from the staircase. I went very slowly, got to the point you showed transitioned and instantly died and respawned somewhere strange.

tried it on hunter and titan. no luck
From my experience, waking backwards slowly doesn’t always work but it’s worth trying. Not patched just takes a few attempts at times. Good luck & Have fun😊
The GoS stuff didn't work either after 2 hours and 12 reloads. I am guessing your not MnK or your framerate are low. Something is not right. Is this a console only glitch?

Done the first one on 3 characters and only received 5 spoils and a raid mod on all the characters bungie May have patched it.
You have to have acquired gear previously in VOW for them to appear in secret chests.
Otherwise you only get spoils and mods 🙁
Everytime I do this all it gives me are raid buffs instead loot

You don’t get any spoils from the chests but you can get raid weapons & armour.
deep stone crypt chest isnt worth it unless you have loot from the raid already. even then, not wort the struggle
I've long since given up on the idea of getting spoils of conquest, they don't ever drop for me no matter what I do. I've gotten a total of 13 since they were introduced and I don't even know when I go those.
They mainly come from openning secret chests between raid encounters
@@zakeeros1663I know that's where you're supposed to mainly get them, they don't give them to me. Since they were added to the game I've done everything to get them. But outside of the 13 that I have no clue where they came from, I haven't gotten any. I think my account itself is bugged.

i mean, have you ever done the raid? You will only get loot if you've received loot from completing encounters in said raid. The Last Wish is the only raid that will give you loot no matter what even if you've never done it.

Just go past them, shoot first 2 nodes, go to third, wipe, get third, get chest.
All IK is that the Root section just showed me how much wasted map Bungie made……no wonder it takes them forever to drop content. They have ppl working on an extra 75% map that isnt used. Job security?
If you really care this much about playing solo then just learn solo root and farm unlimited spoils since it’s still glitched and drops them.
