  • We spent a couple of weeks visiting Houston Texas during the holidays. This city is massive and there's a lot to see and do so we packed in as much as we could. We visited the Waterwall, Post's Skylawn with some fantastic Christmas lights, the Houston Zoo, and the Houston Space Center located at NASA's Johnson Space Center.

Love when the unexpected happens and blows your mind! Such a cool bat experience.

It was really neat, though we'd still love to see the real deal during the warmer months. It looks spectacular from other videos we've watched. Though I'm also not sure we'd be traveling through Texas in the dead of summer. But hey, you never know 🙂

Sad that we JUST missed you guys when you visited! You got to do all of the Houstony things :) I love the Houston Zoo, it has a special place in my heart as well as the science museum! That area is my favorite part of Houston! The Galleria is cool too for the shopaholics!! The POST skylawn might be my new favorite view of the city too! I never thought of Houston as having multiple different sky lines!! Glad you had a great time!

Likewise! You never know though, chances are we'll cross paths again 🙂
We had a pretty long stay here (for us anyway), so it was really nice to be able to explore at our leisure. POST was amazing! It's hard to beat dinner with a view like that.

So many cool things to see in Houston! Love that you got to be there for the special event of the bats being released. And I think I know where those other two rockets are 😉

Are toddlers below 3 allowed in the nasa space center?

We didn't have any issues with our littlest who was 1 year old at the time. Though she spent the whole visit in a carrier.
Correction: she was only 4 months old at the time. Wow, time flies!
