Artosis is the only guy who prioritizes selecting 4 marines from Barracks in the middle of a game ending fight, instead of microing his valks. He really needs to watch some pro games.
It was completely his fault they didnt go down the ramp the medics needed a move command that wasn't to the bunker nearby. Furthermore he had no chance of defeating that army even if he picked off several more guardians before morphing in. That game was already over.
Heh as soon as he lost that fight I knew he'd say he would have won if not for the ramp block. "I literally win the game if that doesn't happen" - lol no you don't. The reality is that despite that setback, he still managed to get down the ramp and into position before the zerg moved in and he took the best possible engagement, and just lost because the zerg had the better army. The reality is he was never going to win that fight, ramp block or not. Maybe he should try taking more than 2 bases next time.
"The reality is that despite that setback, he still managed to get down the ramp" he was outranged by just morphed guardians. Do you understand what "timing" is? "Maybe he should try taking more than 2 bases next time." oh my god how are you so smart? What is your rank? Assuming you have no idea what timing is - you play Korean pro-league at the very least?
@@ivansherbinin Arty had no idea those guardians were morphing just outside his base, and the zerg still had plenty of unmorphed mutas and lings to protect the coccons. Sure, without the delay he might have got to some of them before they finished morphing but even if he did, the zerg could have just cancelled the morph, fly away to somewhere else out of reach of the marines such as the cliffs to the north of his natural, then morph them again. Absolute best case scenario is that he defends the push, but he does not "win the game", as he put it. At the end of the day the zerg was on hive tech on who knows how many bases by that point while he had 2 dozen marines and 2 valkyries on 2 bases.
@@WhitePointerGaming if you see any professional games - no Terran takes the third base on 10's minutes mark. No one. In any match up. In 95% of the games. But somehow he should and the reason he is behind in this game is him not expanding. Even though we haven't seen how this match started. I agree - there's no guarantee he would've won that game without that ramp glitch. And Artosis being Artosis to claim that would've won him the game instantly. It doesn't mean that if he's incorrect - you are. Which I addressed. If you disagree with my points - we can argue about it. To me it is clear that marines under morphing guardians is a very good position to be in. Even if his opponent cancels and flies away - he lose units in the process. And Starcraft is all about tempo. Damn this is some next level delusion and narcissism. He lost like what... three seconds? Let's say he got three more seconds of damage on the morphing guardians. He would have still been absolutely crushed. It's not like he barely lost that engagement. RT is typically way over himself, but I have never seen this kind of blame shifting
haha i totally feel u mate. it happens to me often when i play bw that i click too fast and nothing happens, often in key-moments, commands just phase out. I get sooo frustrated I laugh at myself. its the best really!! ;)
lol.... alright but, did he really would of won that game if the marines get down the ramp a few seconds earlier? .... the dude already had those guardians morphed.... so a few seconds earliler was the same amount of units vs the same amount of units, so, same result? :S
yeah, but it's "not as hard" so not worth it. While 90% of what BW is "harder" in is old ass broken engine where units get stuck and don't move properly. As I always say - if you wanna play on a hard mode, use reverse camera scrolls and cover minimap, it will be harder. Good ingame pathing is not making game "easier" it makes game just less clunky.
@@carlng8438 then don't be a hypocrite because even at this channel you can find him saying multiple times that he plays broodwar because it's the hardest RTS and terran is the hardest race. I am not that good at SC to know the exact timings but 11 min Zerg push with like 12 guardians plus devourers plus extra mutas makes me think that Z was WAY ahead in economy. Most likely Tosis did not harass him at all the whole game. I saw some high level ZvT with guardians recently but I don't remember a single one with that many guardians this early
Artosis needs a bit of experience, apparently 20+ years knowing the issues of the pathing are not enough to avoid them. Who will learn first, Artosis or the game?
it's funny how he devoted himself to a game that's 30 years old and as such has terrible and primitive AI and yet complains about those little bugs all the time. lol

experts in the comments are awesome. it happens every 2-3 games that goons (I play Toss against my friend b.c. this race is broken while he doesn't want to play SC2) won't move left/right. No matter what you fucking do. You need to move them in other direction and then they can go left/right. As suggested by someone with a functioning brain - he should switch to SC2 if he gets tilted by bugs. SC1 is bugged and all sorts of "quirky". and yeah - steamed marines under guardians are way better than marines outranged by guardians. I thought experts would know that. not sure if he could've done it in time but clearly getting all your units stuck for no reason doesn't feel great when you need to move them to repel morphing guardians. just saying. M.b. you should actually get any good at this game before saying how bad this A/S ranked player is over not understanding that stuck units is not good.
This was because he A-moved the medics so they are trying to heal. This was not a bug at all. If you don't know this basic fact of BW then you shouldn't comment that others are bad.

Yeah, if those five more marines would go through, they would totally waste those dozens of mutas, guardians and devourers.
