🐚SAUTEED BLOOD COCKLE WITH SPICY SAUCE: Quickly boil for 30 seconds. Prepare a hot pan with chili powder and seasoning. Add the blood cockle and saute with spicy salt. Place on a plate and add laksa leaves on top.

In México, the blood clams are called “patas de mula” I started eating them as a child and I never got sick. We ate them raw with salt, lemon, and hot sauce. Also, we ate them by the dozen. However, we had to make sure they were still alive and we tested them with a squirt of lemon juice which made them move.
