Finally though, if after 2 weeks you haven’t warmed up to the monkey then it’s probably not a good fit for you. For your island, maybe a brass or gold tray to match your hardware. The house looks amazing. I just purchased and I have white cabinets. I currently have butcher block tops, but I visited a stone shop and the designer said black counters as well. I’m gonna go with granite because quartz is heat resistant and I like putting hot skillets on the counter. The granite has two sides. I plan to go with black leather granite with the white cabinets.
