Santal Complet is really nice although I was surprised at how masculine it was to me. Oud Juane Intense is a safer blind buy. Santal Complet is addictive though but it is not a feminine fragrance.
I think it’s very feminine enough. I get a coconut vibe on my skin, although when I sniff from the bottle I sense a more musky vibe. Sometimes I layer 1:1 with Delina to get a more fresh and sparkly vibe.

Love them as well! I work with cannabis terpenes and when I found cannabis intense and blue. Been obsessed, the perfume is so unique and I always get compliments on it 💚

Im going to sample these fragrances when Im on vacation. Since there's a store with niche fragrances. I already own santal complet. My sister loves the fragrance even though she's very sensitive to alcohol. It's probably the coconut 😅. But she died when she saw the pricetag. Im looking forward to oud jaune- and oud orange intense.😍

Same here, FdB please fix this. I got my MFK samples with free shipping, 14€ just for the 4 samples. I’m sure you can find a 10€ max shipping solution at least in Europe

Im not a huge fan of ylang ylang and neither of powdery coconut. Should I sample oud jaune intense and oud orange intense? Since I hear people say these scents are amazing. I take my words back, now in the summer santal complet smells amazing 😍

How their Sillage compares to MFK 540?
Hey. I own two by FDB and two by MFK (including baccarat rouge) the projection of FDB is not as powerful as MFK but in a good way. I think most MFK is overpowering if you spray more than once or twice. Fragrance du Bois have honestly the most beautifully blended fragrances I’ve ever smelled. They’re stunning. I have sampled around 10-11 of FDBs fragrances and I would say what I have said applies to most of them.

Oud Rose Intense smells very much like Amouage Interlude ...Interlude has a creamier smell to it...where as I would say with Oud Rose, I would say it's got a bit more spice to it.
Have both Milano and orange intense getting New York 5th Avenue there perfumes are amazing

Thank you for the video and the 10% discount. However, I live in the US and the shipping cost is only marginally less than my order. In my case $56. Any way they will offer free shipping or otherwise far more reduced. I recently ordered perfumes from House is Sillage and MFK and neither charged me shipping costs.
I live in the states and placed my order yesterday; shipping was free. They said they would do international shipping for free for a limited time due to covid.
Am I the only one telling that fragrance du bois don't stay long on the skin (I love them anyway) ? I own Santal complet and Petales de Cashmere and they are sooooo soft on me. Longevity is about 10 minutes :( Even Oud orange intense is mild, soft as a confort scent on my skin no one can notice me in the crowd. I am a little disappointed I would have loved to leave a beautiful "sillage" behind me
I am so surprised by your comment because I think Oud Orange is the most long-lasting fragrance I have ever used. Santal Complet as well....at least on me...so interesting....I wonder what is the reason for such a difference.....Can you give me an example of a fragrance that you love and consider long-lasting? @@cristinamagurean well.... Encens mythique Guerlain, Delina, Oro Rosso Bois 1920, Holidays Mancera, Memo Paris.... but to be completely honest many scents are mild and sweet on my skin. Most of them become skin scents on me.... its a curse 😢 and Fragrance du bois have a weak projection and longevity : my body chemistry I presume
@@caly1808 Thank you for your answer. I have just watched a review by "Fragrance with Ami" and it seems that there is a simple answer: they have reformulated the perfumes and don't admit it. I think you should watch this video...I have also read the comments and sadly ....FDB is not what it used to be...I think there is nothing wrong with your body chemistry, you just need to find the right one for you. I hope you still have time to answer comments. Do Santal complet, oud jaune intense, or oud orange have a gardenia note? Becaue I dislike gardenia and so I don't care for Rouge nor vert malachite very much. So I just got worried I might not like these fragrances. But I think I will.. Anyway I usually have the same taste as you just not that one for me..

Do these scents have good staying power? I, like you, have a perfume obsession, but I’m about to give up on them. I know there have been regulatory changes that affect the staying power of perfume.....since these changes there is zero staying power for most fragrances, including the classics.
Not anymore. Reformulated and not for the better. Very sad as prices remain the same or higher.

I’m confused but then I’m a man so would be😆 I have bought a selection of fragrance du Bois testers and the confusion is what is for men and what is for women or are they all unisex?
Well apparently they didn't only change the color... they definitely changed their formulations. They are NOT the same. They smell nothing like before and I am so glad I wasn't the only one thinking I went crazy. This house is lying to its customers, stealing money and you're over here believing them and advertising them because you're best friends now? AND you got free fragrances. Interesting.

I have the old ‘oud Jaune’ sprayed on my right hand and the new ‘oud Jaune’ sprayed on my left hand and yeah the new one doesn’t last as long and isn’t as strong

Ahhhh nope! Checked out a few of their offerings and Siberian Rose sounds like a dream in a bottle but the price, shipping and current economical trainwreck that is my country are all wagging their fingers at me to stay away from this brand. Shame, because I love oud concoctions and FdB seems to have a lovely arsenal of them.
The attars were under $200.00. Also, check the stockist.
