- If BMW doesn’t sell more models than any other automaker then it’s pretty darn close. There are a dizzying array of bodystyles and variants from which to choose but it’s this one here, the X3, that outsells them all. And now into in the 5th year of its 3rd generation, the 2022 X3 receives some notable updates.

You may be asking yourself “Where are all of the interior driving shots? All of the POV stuff that I’m used to seeing?” Well, one of my SD cards died and I lost all of the data. I tried for days to recover it but to no avail. Sorry. It would’ve made the video more engaging. Though I hope you still enjoy it.
I love how your videos are short and to-the-point. Very focused and efficient. Other auto reviewers often ramble on and on. I appreciate your brevity and clarity.
I know it's a shame he's not more popular, but people really seem to just get their kicks from vlogs that happen to be about cars.
Really is a pretty color. BMW does a nice job with that. And you’re right about the steering wheel. Both my parents have BMWs. I don’t love the cars, but those steering wheels are wonderful.
Many reviews of the X3 M40i making over 30MPG real world testing. It's such a wonderful car!

I agree. But for years people have been begging me to make longer videos. I guess I can’t please everybody. 🤷🏼♂️

No leather, No adaptive cruise control, No wireless charging and Don’t even get the larger screen for 12k more Bmw needs to get it together
You will need to change your summer tires every three oil changes . Back tires wear quickly and the front and rear wheels quickly go out of sync and cause wear on the differential. BMW said 2/32nds is maximum amount allowed . I have 40k on mine with a set of winters. So really the summers wore out in 25-30k.

mpg went down because of the heavy battery ($4,000 to replace) so what was the point of adding it?
Like it in tanzanite. 4.1 according to car and driver to 60. Needs better snow tires.
This is the 2023 X3 m40i not the 2022 - you can recognize the 2023 model due to the halo tailights
Nope.
It’s not adequate mate. Test drove both X3MC and M40i and this one drives like a regular SUV with body roll and weight. Top dog drives like a car with point and steer and very quick thanks to 503hp/ 479lb/ft torque.
Like I said, for 90% of buyers the M40i is enough. For you, apparently not.
X3 M is also very uncomfortable for any kind of long drive, x3 M40i is definitely the sweet spot of performance and comfort for this segment.
@@ScrubIord Disagree. Just did a 3000 mile road trip vacation to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island Island and it is very comfortable. The sport seats broke in around 800-1000 mile mark after delivery. The longest leg was a 12 hr drive. It was awesome driving the X3M Competition on the Cabot Trail.
@@tekink8143 I take my comment back, I just got my 22 X3M yesterday and it’s very comfortable to ride. I guess it’s just a myth that X3M is uncomfortable compared to M40i.
@@ScrubIord cool. 👍. I think 20-21 X3MC had a harsh ride but BMW made adjustments on the LCI suspension. Hope you hit the tire lottery with Michelin PS4s. Post some pics on Bimmerpost X3M F97 forum of your new X3M. Stoked335d is my name there.

Looking too familiar inside? This was BMW's original philosophy, an owner could get into the cheapest BMW and then a top of the range model and there would be little difference, the same familiar controls and the same quality feel. ...How long have you been used to BMW's?
