Hello, I’m a Romanian working in Germany, I’ll go back home in vacation and a part of the relaxation is to make some repairs on the old house, I’ll be trying to make the same things you did, the sawhorses look great and you are good at explaining on everyone’s understanding !
Lots of thanks, subscribed and 👍🏼!

You're fun to watch, straightforward, offer mistakes and simple solutions. Its very encouraging. Thanks for the great vids.

AWESOME! and easy/quick build. Just made mine today. Need no fancy stuff just sawhorses to use. Miter saw really comes in handy. Hand saw it more difficult to make or cut angles. I finally decided to get a miter saw and realized I should of bought it years ago, even for a home around handy person like me. Again, thanks for the demo!

I've just made your foldable sawhorses and I'm very happy with them. But I have to say this version is incredibly strong, not to mention very easy to build even with just a miter box, a hand saw and a drill. Mine have 8 full years of hard work and abuse and they are still kicking. Thank you very much for the ideas!

Just made mine with 6 2x4x8' as a beginner, as the instructions are so clear and simple. Total cost of $19. The lowest you can get with similar size sawhorses. Just returned ALDI sawhorses with same cost but half the size and lower capacity. Mine now has 14 2x4x8' on them and it is very sturdy and nothing moves.
I intentionally left a 1/4" width top land for the 45 degree cut, easier for clamping.
    Thanks again.

Nice design. If you screwed your lower center brace to the underside of the cross braces then you could have a removable shelf by sliding a board across the top of the cross braces.

I don't normally advertise for a company, but I find a workmate to be so useful. It folds down, and all you need is one sawhorse the same height and you practically have a tool shop. I even clean fish on it.

a nice feature about this design is that it can be minimised at the bottom connecting 15" boards between the individual legs or at the connection of the pair of legs ( about 36" board), depends on the safety, strength, rigitity or life span desired. Actually the bevel cut at the bottom end may as well be left square, especially if used on outside surfaces.

So saw horses eh ok, no big deal The pants AD in the beginning stellar! I love it going to their site to find them and get a pair! I love that a manufacturer will let you do a not so serious ad on their product. It has gotten me to get a pair! Great job as always Steve and thank you for keeping you're content free!!!

I use the cheap metal clamps.
Then just a few inches below the metal I put a spredder between the legs on each side.
Then I cut a piece that goes from the center of the spredders up to the top board.
    Very simple and very strong.
PLUS>>>>> Mine are stackable for when I am not using them.

An old tip that a carpenter told me years ago was to measure to your hip-bone and make a sawhorse to your own personal height. Mine are 40 inches. Certainly, does help with a chronic backache avoided. I am now able to lean over my work piece instead of constantly bending down to it. I'm 6 feet 5 inch.

to avoid cutting through the deck screws in the top piece, drill some holes through the top piece and into the a frames and use hardwood dowels to hold the top piece in place...when the top board gets chewed up....and it will.....it can be easily replaced with fresh wood and dowels.
