I made your jig & Christmas trees. Both turned out great. Thank you for sharing. A comment on the jig, add a stop block to the end of the jig registering against the end of the miter saw. Then, you can set your additional saw angle, put your jig in place & cut away. No more fumbling around trying to read the miter gauge angle.
Excellent video and idea. I'm a luthier in Australia and I've pondering for while how to use my miter saw for cutting scarf joints on guitar necks (12-15degrees). I think this jig might work for me. Thanks so much!
Starbond. I have the kit that I use linked in the description box. I have had them capped for a while and zero drying out. amzn.to/45LUYvZ here is the link I use too.
I'll definitely make one of these. But I'm thinking of cutting the edge of the base at a curve that matches my miter saw so that I could see the angle gauge. Has anyone tried that? Great video.
Excellent demonstration, ,best I have watched. I especially like the double cuts.
Thank you very much! I appreciate the support.

I like that idea! I have made a couple bass guitars and never even thought of that. I will give it a try. You'll have to let me know how it goes.
@@cedarriverwoodworking just built and tested! It worked beautifully! Managed to cut a perfect 12degree for a classical guitar headstock.
Brilliant idea bro, simple, effective & finger saving safe. My next job when I'm outside 👍
Sounds great. I hope it helps a lot with the projects.
Thanks for figuring it out for me 😊
I was recently cutting extreme angles, in a very dangerous manner. Won't do that anymore.

Did I miss somewhere in this video how to use the 2nd triangle? Thanks for this video. Nice clear, easy to follow instruction.
Great question. I didn't use it. But it could be used as another brace.
Great mindset . Thanks for the videos . Love the presentation

Great jig for extreme angles.
Do you have a video on the wings you built for your miter saw? I have the same saw and I like your set up.
I do not have a video for it. There is just some old cabinets with some plywood on top.
@@cedarriverwoodworking I like that a lot. I going to try and make something very similar. Great inspiration for sure
Thanks for sharing this. I was struggling with the angles post 45 with weird holds
Glad I was able to help.
I love your vids. Thanks for doing them.
I'm glad you enjoy them.
Great jig. Thanks for sharing the video.
Thank you. I'm glad it helps.
Great little jig! Did you put the triangle right in the middle and wll this work on a 10" mitre saw?
I felt like it only needed 1 brace, but yes it should work in a 10 inch saw.
thank you @@cedarriverwoodworking
This is AWESOME!!! THANK YOU!!
Glad you like it! Thank you for all of your support too.
Definitely will be using this in the future.
It comes in handy quite often.
Great information thank you
Thank you.
What brand of C.A. glue do you use? I use 2P10 and it always dries up and hardens in the bottle after just a couple uses

Good change. You could score lines into the top by slightly cutting into it and then lable what the angle is.
Are you putting the CA glue on the wood or does it matter if it gets on the wood glue
Good question. I apply in as a few drops along the joint surface, where the wood glue goes. Directly to the wood is perfectly fine.
You started out by saying that you needed to make a 75° angle, at the end you made a 55° angle.
I had already made the cut that I needed. I was showing the functionality of the jig.
