  • On this episode: Kam and Caila speak about the dating scene and their difficulties dating with the type of men they like. They also unpack the heavy bigotry that they notice amongst Black men and question why so many of them hold traditional values that do not serve them.
In their #DimensionalHeaux segment they discuss their love languages, what they bring to relationships, as well as their love styles using the app.
In #InternetHeaux, topics range from the hypersexualization of AD’s body, Draya Michele, as well as Black natural haircare myths.

perhaps you mean well but the world is socially conditioned to be conservative, thats the mere status quo irrespective of race or gender due to white hegemonic forces. instead of pathologising men of your own race and mythologising/ pedestaling others as better perhaps acknowledge that.
and lets not be disingenuous both genders can hold reactionary politics e.g. alot of women out here are biphobic.

I’m going to assume you haven’t watched other episodes. We’ve always called out women for being biphobic. Also, we know the world is conditioned to be conservative. However, there is a special kind of misogynoir that Black women face when it comes to Black men that is an exclusive experience to us. & When did we say other races were “better”?

i concur, unfortunately some bm do have a reactionary line of thinking when it comes to bw e.g. colourism. however that’s literally the ramifications of our current social apparatus being conditioned by white supremacy. our collective self hate doesn’t materialise out of thin air. not that you said it did, but you didnt convey the genesis of the problem either.
here 11:53 she unironcally said she might date out on the mere theory of other groups of men possibly being more progressive. when in objective reality thats not the case e.g. statistically speaking when it comes to empirical voting trends bm are the most progressive group of men. its just a matter of personally finding one with a concrete leftist ethos (which is hard, despite the demographic - man or women) sometimes it sounds like you’re using your anecdotal experience as a confirmation bias to generalise. a form of anti blackness in itself.
not to mention the most salient reason why homophobia so pervasive amongst us today is because of the christian fundamentalism that was violently enforced on us by yt men (and women) to begin with.
