Man, can't believe a "tiny" channel can be this good. Please keep up the good work, You are one of the few youtubers that I follow these days. You make some high quality, good luck ;)
This video is sponsored by small RUclips creators! A gem of a channel can be found if you look carefully, especially this one 💪 Great job on the content, keep it up man!
My problems with RUclips sponsorships are mostly about the nature of this platform and how they kind of undercut it. My first problem with sponsorships (for simplicity's sake, I'm talking about the sponsor plugs for an unrelated product in the video itself) is that they kind of contradict the idea of this platform. RUclipsrs take sponsorships because Google is greedy and keeps cutting the ad revenue per ad of their creators, so I get it. On the other hand, certain kinds of content are ruined by sponsorships. Something purely entertainment based that isn't even pretending to be authentic isn't harmed by it, but something that's just some person sharing their opinion on something and they promise to be their raw, unfiltered self and suddenly they're giving an ad read for Raid Shadow Legends kind of casts doubt onto everything else they're saying. Television is kind of the opposite, ads are kind of baked into the format so it seems totally normal, even expected to have a commercial for a product. My second problem is that RUclips sponsors are often not very trustworthy. Better Help, Raid Shadow Legends, Established Titles, VPN companies, etc. RUclips has bent over backwards to pander to traditional advertisements, so why can't RUclipsrs be promoted by Duncan Hines, Coca-Cola, Gillette razors, Colgate toothpaste, etc, real products we actually use? It may not be authentic, but the familiarity would make the sponsor segment seem less jarring. Nobody finds it strange that Howdy Doody was pitching Ovaltine during the show. My third problem is one I kind of touched on earlier, it shows that becoming a full time RUclipsr has a lot of drawbacks. You go from making the kind of content you want to making the kind of content the algorithm wants you to make. And that honestly sounds really depressing. I feel blessed to have a job I love (working at a hotel/lodge at the front desk) but I know not everyone has that luxury, most are often trapped in jobs they hate, and with RUclips, nothing's guaranteed.
Thanks to you I was updated with the knowledge that sponsors actually sell bad products. Becoming an youtuber full-time seems more like a liabillity risk, its best to go for a degree in something so you always have a second road to go thorugh if things dont work out, whatever you might try in life
I came from Ludwig's stream from when he watched your video and congratulations on the success! I watched a few of your videos and they're really well thought out and well made :)
The biggest issue I have with ads is how little they actually value your attention. It's that whole "race to the bottom" proposition. Ads need to reach millions of people to get hundreds of new customers, so each "ad view" is worth like... anywhere from $0.03 to $0.30 (according to a quick Google search anyway). It just ends up being a huge waste of people's time, and the companies' money. I can't really think of anything, but hopefully someone figures out a monetization model that's less "wasteful".
Or at the very least, ads could go back to what made them charming and interesting when I was a kid growing up in the 2000s. I was born in 1996 and commercials have changed a lot in my lifetime. It used to be "this is why our product is good" or a catchy jingle. That was pretty much gone by 2010. Now they're loud and intrusive. Imagine if we had RUclips ads with the charm of those old Mentos commercials
Someday, RUclips will fight adblockers by automatically editing ads straight into the video files but as a result, old videos will have irrelevant or poorly aged ads. RUclips will deal with that by making the algorithm only suggest recent videos. That'll cause huge profit losses for RUclipsrs because all old videos will die & any given video will only be profitable for a short time at best. All famous RUclipsrs will leave as a result, adblockers will figure out how to recognize & skip the ad parts of the videos anyway, the site will die & RUclips will be like "wha happun". Also, a lot of people will get copyright strikes for the content of the ads forced on them because RUclips can only fail all the way at everything lately.
Just retitle the video “We are slaves to RUclips sponsorships” and watch the video blow up, I saw your most video about going viral and I truly think it was the banger short titles
just asking but what were the scams that kamikoto and established titles did? cuz just with some surface level digging i cant find any reasons why they are scamy
EXCEPT internet historian//incognito mode. Sometimes i will watch one of his videos just because the ads are ao entertaining. But good stuff, ive never understood the hate for sponsors, they are litterly paying forbthe contentbyou wwtch lol
Look. We all hate sponsorships. But I can at least tolerate it. But the same can not be said with sponsorships. Of companies. That are genuinely evil, scams, overpriced and just overall. Bad. Why is it so hard. To find a sponsorship for a RUclipsr that actually has a good service. Or product and is not completely evil and a scam?
But doesn't RUclips Premium generate more revenue for your favorite RUclipsrs than watching ads? Like, that's why RUclips keeps shoving it in your face because Premium users are a lot more valuable than free users. Is it that you don't want to pay for Premium because you just don't way to pay? That's also fair.

we dont need them
You know RUclips is really bad when people get more paid when getting sponsored by shady companies.
When you reach a specific size sponsors will almost always pay better on every platform.

No, they are not.

Just retitle the video “We are slaves to RUclips sponsorships” and watch the video blow up, I saw your most video about going viral and I truly think it was the banger short titles
Aight let's watch this
Subtitles at 1:38 XDD
squarespace might be the only youtube sponsorship product that i actually use LOL
I use homechef and surfshark but thats about it for me iirc
I know someone who uses the athletic greens supplement
and yet, Johnny Harris still promotes betterhelp....
Great video man, just subbed
just asking but what were the scams that kamikoto and established titles did? cuz just with some surface level digging i cant find any reasons why they are scamy
Why does such a quality video from a consistently good channel have so few views?
I find this opinion defeatist and complacent.
I have always preferred sponships as opposed to complaining how youtube isn't paying you and/or begging me and the audience for money
finally a new video.
underated as all hell

can i use one of your outro songs and credit you in the description?
You know what isn't necessary? Promoting a *scam* or sketchy product. You can choose your sponsors.
Don't choose sponsors to fleece your audience.
bro now a days there is 5 long ads per video lame sponsorships and shady pop up ads what was google become
Remember me when you are a big RUclipsr ( Yes, you are gonna be )
Yeah i agree 👍

To any RUclipsrs that use sponsors, just say the name of your sponsor - maybe just one line describing them - and get on with the damn video.
