hi from germany! came across your site for the first time....what a huuge renovating company u run...wow....it warms my heart to see that after all these decades the good old arcade machines era still isnt forgotten.....carry on and good luck
it always broke my heart when I had to convert an original defender cocktail table into something like ghosts&goblins or the time I made a joust cocktail table into a bubble Bobble. I did manage to save a rare Starcastle cocktail table from cinematronics it's the prototype it was in their break room ...
As a player and lover of classic games I can relate. It broke my heart to find some modern stupid game in a classic cabinet. Mostly Gauntlet machines that I saw converted around here. That was just a crime
I bought one of these back in '02 (never knew they made Defender in a table version as I don't recall ever seeing one growing up in the 80's) I was actually going to buy a cocktail table Asteroids until he mentioned he also had Defender! Funny thing, it was several years before I realised it took batteries, though mine works on three AAs. It worked great for years, but eventually it began having weird start up issues. I'd plug it in, but the start button wouldn't work. I'd leave it plugged in for several hours, then unplug it, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in, and the start button would work. Then one day I think I must have dislodged something while changing the batteries (they were in there really tight!) because the memory stopped working and I had to go through the setup every time I plugged it in. It still played great like this for a few more years, then the monitor began to flicker every so often,...then one day it went dark. Some day I hope to get it fixed, until then, its just my novelty kitchen table,...oh yeah, I had a nice square piece of glass cut so I could put it on top and use it like a real cocktail table,...don't know what they were thinking with those cutouts?
The great thing about Defender is the difficulty adjustment. You can set it anywhere from level 1-99. There are videos of people playing it on level 99 and it's pretty intense. You don't have to worry about getting too good at the game.
@@tntamusements I can definetly see it was ahead of its time. Look at the new tablet desks tables. At least they tried to avoid the acid leak on the board lol 😆 Keep up the good videos
Technically I suppose for really nutty geek fans. if there was a Dead main board for any one of these games. I'd just frame the thing with some sort of Pinbot logo or Defender in the box frame :) Someone could say it's junk. Eh probably the closes I'll get to owning a piece of a pinbot. (or bride) although I get a kick everytime I see a PSU that looks like it came out of a desktop inside one of these arcade games. xoxide.com used to have some unique PSU's. (high watt) but I suppose if one knows what they are doing they could mod the wires to fit anything they want.
I haven't seen a cocktail arcade machine in maybe 20 years. Who knows what my second game is gonna be... A cocktail would be ohhhhh sooooooo sweet to have;to have one would spark endless interest and fun with the converison boards\kit.
uniroyalbarrie only cocktail I would entertain buying would be um Ms Pac Man. she never was fun to play standing up. But sitting down with a drink nearby yes. (although having the grounding plug chopped off no.
No me gustan estas recreativas de mesa me gustan las clásicas arcades que son las que yo tengo en mi colección particular junto con algunas tragaperras que también poseo un saludo desde España Europa.
Translation...I don't like these arcade games, I like the classic arcades, which are the ones I have in my private collection along with some slot machines that I also have, greetings from Spain, Europe. Well, the Defender we are showing here IS an arcade game...so I am confused
This has to be one of most favorite best looking cocktail cabinet I've ever seen, with those nice curves around the control panel.
How about the curves around my stomach???
Beautiful. Can't wait to set this up when it arrives.. :)
It's coming, Vic Gundotra.. :)
Wicked.
Jonathan Terleski Just make sure you keep the glass tabletop nice and greasy. It should smell like an old Pizza Hut.
Wow! You bought it! The guy from California? Awesome! I remember sticking lots of quarters in that machine.
Home or work?
What a beautiful looking cocktail cabinet... Need to build one of those babies one day...
Fantastic!
Error Flynn Yes it is!! They look nie when finished!

+Yul Olaivar Glad you like our videos!!
Love the videos
Have you come across anymore of these table games?
I have a nice Defender cocktail for sale for $1599! Just email me directly tntquality@aol.com
Are the translucent buttons seen in this version of Defender and (later) N.A.R.C. still manufactured/readily available. Just curious.
I am not sure if anyone still sells them. I stocked up on them...and also have some for sale...the red ones are $3 each and green $4 each!
TNT Amusements Inc
Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it.
That's a nice looking cab!
It came out nice!
Are you still servicing Defender cocktail games?
Do you have 1 of these or a stargate or both?
How much does one of those tables cost? How much did it cost back in the day?
New back then it was $2199...same price now with all new insides and playing both Stargate and defender
The only time I came across one of those tables was when I was playing with Bibi Jones...
i noticed you said you replaced caps on audio board, but do you replace the ones on the other components as well?
John Felts We replace the caps that typically dry out. We have a usual pattern of what we find fails.

yes...terrific range of adjustments!
Great video's here !
Thanks!!
This thing is pretty bad ass for back in the day
Yes...ahead of its time it seems! I wish the monitor was bigger.

What size lithium battery are you using?
Matt Merfeld its a 3 volt
TNT Amusements Inc Thanks, would a 3.6 V work as well. Marco Specialties has them with axial leads on their site?
Matt Merfeld Yes...the 3.6 volt will work fine! The 3 volt seems to last 4 to 6 years with no issues.
Do you ship games to Denver CO?
Yes we do! Its $300 for first machine and $150 each additional...right to your curb, palleted wrapped, and insured! Todd
I want one.
We have one left!
A GREAT ATARI GAME!!!
