This is probably one of the best races in the series. Everyone's positive, fun attitude. The rivalry and respect. Skill recognizing skill. The maturity and understanding everyone has. The whole energy is great!
24:47 I did remember this scene! Kyoske with his fist winner pose outside the window! It gave me chills again. This was his most important winning! ❤❤❤
His name is Keisuke actually, looks like you got Ryosuke's and Keisuke's name mixed up, anyways, yeah I agree, this race was one of the best in the series.
19:37 at this point he didn't care about winning anymore. We wanted to leave a memorable mark of an extraordinary battle by drifting his AWD GT-R. He may excel in accelerator techniques but drifting is still a liability in a 4WD vehicle and knowing this may be his last race for a while, he wanted to make it exciting. Can't say I blame him
I don't understand, in the second round keisuke was leading, and it ended with him still leading and with hoshino on his tail, wouldn't they go into round 3 then?
why did that god foot suggested a combo race instead of just 1 uphill, he's like a rookie not knowing his tyre won't last so it's best for him to finish it in 1 go.
Stated earlier by Ryouske, to make it fair for Keisuke. Hoshino knows he’d destroy him on a pure uphill so they added both sections to make it a more balanced matched between them.
@@InitialDWeebTwentyOneyeah but dangerous as fuck. one minor slip up from either of them and head on collision easily. I mean Kozo and Keisuke are both very skilled so they probably wouldn't collide. But still, Kozos tires were also done for so if they lost grip mid manuever, they're both toast.
Oh he did but not in the typical way that Takumi did. You heard what Ryosuke told Keisuke - to let the guy make a lead of 6-7s ahead of him on the uphill part so he could catch him on the downhill. And because the GTR is fast on the uphill, creating that big of a gap is an enormous gamble because even with all your skill you don't know whether you could regain it back. Kozo could easily slip away from Keisuke if he wasn't skilled at downhill and had the car to do so. But the weird thing is, why didn't Kozo also slow down and conserve his tires once he saw Keisuke do so.
There is also the factor that the race was also downhill, putting the GTR at a disadvantage. The race against Joshima was exclusively a downhill, shorter runs and both cars specifically tuned to it.
@@AndorRadnai i consider the race against Joshima and Takumi honestly a tie, cuz Joshima had to throw up and Takumi fucked his suspension trying to keep up

17:27 damn this really is a GTR theme I can't forget takeshi's R32 apperance
Love seeing M.O.V.E. watching the battle.
He was after that gtr like a damn bullet bill in Mario kart

Freaking land yacht sliding around 😅
That was an amazing race!! ROTARIES 4 LIFE LET'S GOOOO KEISUKE!!
4:10 my mans said "Don't count your chickens just yet"😂😂😂😂. Something about this line gets me everytime. I don't know what, but something😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
16:39 Footgod!? Jesus, Kenta! How the hell did I never notice that!? 😂😂😂

Dude I was thinking the same thing. TBH, I found that kind of dissatisfying. Still it was a fun race to watch.
This race is SOOOOOOOOA GOOD
I don’t know why kenta reminds me alot of itsuki
There is this meme…
Takumi has Itsuki
Keisuke has Kenta
Buntta has Yuichi
And now Kanata has Ogata
Everyone has their very own Itsuki!
But none of them are itsuki.
@@AndorRadnaidon’t Forget Iketani has Kenji
@@AmericanWataruAkiyama That is somewhat correct, but those two are equally chaotic if anything. Enough so that they have their very own dynamic. 😂
@@AndorRadnai fair enough
17:31 dude that was pure trust
I wouldn't trust myself in that position
Awesome this was intense
Keisuke's a legend
No, Kozo Hoshino is
@@hybridShinxI’d say both of them are, the race was also a very epic one with all out performance from both drivers.
i love how they both scream at themselves
Imagine if they found out it was old guys racing and they brought bunta out to race them
that... was.... AWESOMEEEE
17:50 i already knew this was gonna happen. Thats awesome. Sheesh i can predict things🎉
this episode has the same name as first stage episode 5, "dogfight"
13:23 old fossil lol
Since this song is from other stage, I have hope that Dejavu will play again
6:35
They messed up on the sound effects..

Maybe it's due to the corse they race

wtf is the blue car with gold rims? looks like a rx-8 but at the same time not
After this episode, Takumi goes up against that car, that’s a Honda S2000
Honda S2000 roadster

One of the best and iconic scenes in the whole series

17:27 back on the rocks 2nd time in season 4
I mean stage 4
I mean it’s not like everyone noticed this
But why did only takumi struggle against Joshima
Why didn’t Keisuke struggle against hoshino

I get it now
Keisuke was in the red suns so he knows how to keep it cool under pressure without breaking himself like takumi does in every race

18:27 Found that funny
Drift an gtr it's feel kinda ilegal idk how
Project D is such a pain to watch… Only boring battles which dont have anything fun to watch…
So what are you doing here , ?
