Honestly the best one was the Alpine Vs Porsche. While kanata's battles where cool and all, all of them were won because the other drivers were afraid of the road conditions whilst these 2 were having a dog fight for 1st in the death zone while its freaking raining. In my opinion they were the only ones that captured how initial d races used to feel like.

The Company in the show give handicaps for a more powerful car example the higher the hp they give u specialised tires that restrict grip
That's why the 86 can pass him even with the handicap if it was dry the audi would still beat him it's specifically the rain thats aiding him
I dint have to tell u how bad it is to have bad tires and it raining especially in a awd that's not a front engine

@@mikejhock Reading about it they didn't consider Downforce or other stuff like set ups though in the rules. Or loopholes. These are not true professionals. More semi retired drivers so not the greatest bunch.
Also it was for power to weight ratio not just power.
