I’m adopted and I don’t find any offense to it. Mostly because everyone has their preferences on age. Some people are ready to adopt a mix of ages, or just one age. My mom adopt my brothers at 1 and 5 and me as just a few months. People just pick on others on the littlest thing so there’s drama to be had. It really shouldn’t be that big of a deal, at least not to me. But I can see why some or most people can take offense to this too.
Nothing wrong with this. Lots of people adopt not through and agency. Adoption agencies can be shady as hell. You can totally find someone, get a lawyer and do it that way. And they just want to experience all the stages of life. Can you blame them? I'm sorry to the older kids that are less likely to get adopted. That is sad. I still think each couple has to determine what's best for them.
Exactly. If they don't feel qualified and able to take on all that's comes with adopting kids who are old enough to be struggling with the trauma that having no parents can bring, then it's right for them to only take on what they know they are capable of. It is extremely sad that it's so much harder for older kids to get adopted. But it's not responsible to take on something you don't feel confident you could handle.
I think Della have their valid reason behind adopting a baby instead of a full grown child. It is easier to connect with a baby and you also get to live every moment as a new mother to a new born child. So people should stop imposing unnecessary opinions on them

They want a baby, that’s all fine and good. But the reasons they want a baby are questionable, and the fact that they will absolutely plaster this baby all over social media is extremely concerning. Children that grow up in the spotlight rarely turn out well, they have all kinds of issues from having their lives constantly filmed and shared with millions of people. BUT the way that people in the adoption community (adopted children) have explained it to me is that “adoption is not a solution for infertile people/ people who can’t have children” adoption should be child centered not centered around the parents. It makes it seem more like a transaction rather than giving a child a home. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be parents but there is a problem with thinking you’re entitled to have a child (through adoption or whatever means) just because you can’t have one biologically. And that’s why so many people have a problem with ppl who only specifically want a baby. Again, I like Della Vlogs but it’s definitely a big topic within the adoption community.
Do you know the years involved with fertility treatments. I understand they have had guidance along the way. I am upset because you criticise them wanting a baby. It was their choice.
Infertility treatments are one thing but adoption must be about the best interest of the child. Infertility doesn’t entitle anyone to someone else’s child, especially if they’re exploiting the child like Bella and Dallin.
My point was just that they never said adoption was just for babies, but that’s what they chose and there is nothing wrong with that. Giving any child a home should be all that matters.

My older sister was adopted as a baby when my mom had fertility issues for 5 years. If you haven’t experienced that pain, you have no right to tell people what to do and not to do with their life. It was grueling and some of the worst pain my mom had to experience. There’s many details I won’t share. But, a baby needs a home. It doesn’t matter what age or what leads a parent to decide to adopt any kid. There’s many who don’t adopt at all. It is a preference. That baby needed a home either way and they clearly love her. My older sister was adopted from fertility issues and she is beyond loved here. She is one of us and I love her. There was no reason to be picking on parents with so much trauma.

My opinion is that this couple went through so much to have a much wanted baby. They were open and honest while documenting their struggle to become parents. They did nothing wrong! It’s a beautiful story and any child that they adopt will be very loved!
I think they want to experience all the stages of a child's life, from baby to adult. When you adopt you can even confirm if you would want a certain race, age, if child could have disabilities. One need to feel comfortable & secure in what you get yourself into so if they chose to get a newborn, that's what they need to help them feel fulfilled, & content. I understand lots of kids to be adopted who are no longer babies, but do not 'blame' them for that happening. I think for a young couple it is better getting a newborn so the child can be close to them from young.
But the thing is that since 2017 they have been trying to get pregnant and start their own family,after many tries and finding out they can’t get pregnant they tried adopting baby girls but found out the “pregnant mother” scammed multiple family’s including them all at the same time and never was giving them babies or ever even pregnant. They where heart broken and donated all of their twin supplies to Bella’s aunts friend who was expecting twins. They started over with the nursery and finally got the call that a woman had given birth to a baby girl but couldn’t care for her and wanted them to be her parents so they flew to the family emediatly and adopted their now baby girl. It’s not that they didn’t want a kid and only wanted a baby, it’s that they wanted to be able to raise a kid from birth till adult hood and be able to be there every step of the way, be able to care for them and see them grow up. I 100% support Della Vlogs, at the time I’m commenting this they have adopted their little girl, named her Story and are so happy to have her!! Some of their RUclipsr friends like Matt and Abby who have a new born and a 1 year old have supported them in this journey and I support them as well. There is NOTHING wrong with adopting whether it’s a new born or a 17 year old soon to be adult. This is not hate towards this girl who made the video, I’m just here to inform everyone😄😄
I have several family members that are adopted. There is nothing wrong with wanting to adopt a baby. Yes all ages need homes but they want a baby first. Also there are so many unwanted babies that end up in dumpsters, bathrooms and even worse, Maybe that is what they’re saying. I am a Purpose Partner with Bella’s company and seeing her and Dallin struggle is so sad. People adopt babies all the time why is it so wrong for them to want to do the same?
It might help instead of the thousands that people pay to adopt infants could actually go to the mother so they can support their children instead of being punished for being poor. There are many situations where the mothers could in fact take care of the infant and choose to put up for adoption but there are so many heartbreaking situations where the mother puts their baby up for adoption because they feel they can get a better life with someone else. And much of that simply comes down to not having the money. It's exploitation plain and simple

To be honest, in my opinion the reason for the last clip I feel may have been letting anyone who is having thoughts of terminating a pregnancy, that there is another option. I was adopted myself, mom had me at the age of 12. She could have chosen aborting me but she gave me up for adoption to give me a chance at a better life
I think that is ridiculous. Every one that chooses adoption has their own story. It is not one size fits all. Adoption is absolutely used for people that can not conceive on their own. There is nothing wrong with having the desire for a baby. They have also be very transparent in the fact that they don’t know all of this work. && this is their life, their story, their adoption.
Have you adopted? My parents adopted through foster care and I would say that there’s no “right” or “wrong” way to adopt. Any form of adoption is a blessing!
The reason they put this last clip is because the waitlist for adopting a newborn is very long. More women are choosing abortion rather than giving their newborn for adoption. Also not everyone is made to adopt older children it takes a certain personality and skillset to do so. This is better than that youtuber (can't remember her name) that sent back their adopted child. It's not that they want a baby it's that they want to raise a future adult under their beliefs and values.

Also I wish these people had taken some parenting classes and learned how to support the neck and make sure they’re not suffocating the baby when it’s swaddled so close to her chest. I think everyone is waaayyy too sensitive. Instead of being happy for them, people are trying to find ways to tear down this couple who's been through a lot.
I know a very very sweet family who literally put out PAMPHLETS saying they were looking to adopt. A desperate mom in poverty found it and reached out to them. Obviously they then went about it through an agency, but the mother was so thankful to find them. The baby is now 5 years old and is the youngest of their 4 and is the most loved little girl you’ve ever seen. It’s not a super uncommon thing to do.
I totally agree with you! They hadnt even had their newly adopted baby for a few days and they already set up and instagram page for her.... thats weird. Imo that says everything about their intentions of wanting to have a baby. They cant even enjoy a few days as a family without pulling the camera out and monetising everything.
Sure, it's a tactic. My 1st grade teacher and her husband adopted their first by leaving cards on the subway with their agency and name info, but going on the internet is not how you typically adopt. Children aren't pets.

Okay so her is the ACTUAL story. So Della vlogs went through a lot of infertility (basically meaning the mother can't have children) so they can't have a child of their own, so they want to adopt. They were told by someone that they were going to be adopting a baby and then later, found out it was twins. About a few weeks after that, they found it was a scam. Recently, they just adopted a baby named Story. So they deserve no hate at all and deserve all the love and support for their new family. ❤
I don’t think anybody is angry at them. I think this is a you issue, in my opinion I would personally rather adopt a baby/toddler because then you get to see each stage of there life. I get other ages have kids that need to be adopted and placed into family’s but especially for my first child to be adopted I would prefer to adopt a baby. There so kind and I honestly don’t think anybody deserves a baby more. Edit: I found this video again after they adopted there baby girl !! I’m so happy for them and if your still making problems about this you need to watch the video and just see the emotions in there face. I think that will help you realize how ridicules this is.

Given the recent tragedy regarding social media influencer Ruby Franke’s arrest for child abuse, it’s time to enact legislation to protect minors who are being filmed by their parents in these for-profit family vlogs. There are strict guidelines for child stars in the tv and film industry. The same protections should be afforded to minors who are often unwilling participants (like yours) in their parents’ quest for internet fame and the money that comes with it. Washington state is already beginning the process of such legislation, and other states should follow suit. I hope something is done soon.
Who cares if they want to adopt a baby. I'm adopted and I'm not offended. Maybe they want to experience the whole experience of raising a baby from birth and there can be many other reasons also.
I don’t think people can fully understand the mental toll infertility takes on you. You go to a complete state of desperation. You walk through stores just to go through the baby isle. You loose friends and feel guilty blocking people you know on Facebook, because you cant bare to see them with their kids. It can turn you into a bitter desperate person. You have this beautiful vision in your head of you cradling a newborn with your husbands eyes and your hair. It’s biological that most people want that. Also, I agree in supporting adoption of all ages!! However it’s perfectly valid for them to want a baby, because that’s usually where most couples start. If you’re upset with them for wanting a baby then you’re upset with every couple who’s getting pregnant 😂.very backhanded. They made a mistake, being infertile is hideous (I speak from experience), they just wanted to be a family. Yea adoption is more than babies, but they knew what was right for them. I’m so glad I live in the UK where you can only go through a bone fide agency and social services so are very unlikely to get scammed

I don’t find anything offensive about it and honestly I don’t blame them. They are a couple that has suffered through infertility for the last 5 years and I can’t blame them for their first child to want a newborn. If you’ve ever attended adoption or foster classes they tell you there is nothing wrong with wanting to start out with newborns. I’ve had many friends adopt newborns first and older children second. Also they recommend if you have a way to share you are looking to adopt or know someone looking to place a child for adoption then to go that route. I think people just look for a reason to attack these creators and should leave the sincere ones alone.

BUT the way that people in the adoption community (adopted children) have explained it to me is that “adoption is not a solution for infertile people/ people who can’t have children” adoption should be child centered not centered around the parents. It makes it seem more like a transaction rather than giving a child a home. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be parents but there is a problem with thinking you’re entitled to have a child (through adoption or whatever means) just because you can’t have one biologically. And that’s why so many people have a problem with ppl who only specifically want a baby. Again, I like Della Vlogs but it’s definitely a big topic within the adoption community.

My older sister was adopted as a baby when my mom had fertility issues for 5 years. If you haven’t experienced that pain, you have no right to tell people what to do and not to do with their life. It was grueling and some of the worst pain my mom had to experience. There’s many details I won’t share. But, a baby needs a home. It doesn’t matter what age or what leads a parent to decide to adopt any kid. There’s many who don’t adopt at all. It is a preference. That baby needed a home either way and they clearly love her. My older sister was adopted from fertility issues and she is beyond loved here. She is one of us and I love her. There was no reason to be picking on parents with so much trauma.

My opinion is that this couple went through so much to have a much wanted baby. They were open and honest while documenting their struggle to become parents. They did nothing wrong! It’s a beautiful story and any child that they adopt will be very loved!
I think they want to experience all the stages of a child's life, from baby to adult. When you adopt you can even confirm if you would want a certain race, age, if child could have disabilities. One need to feel comfortable & secure in what you get yourself into so if they chose to get a newborn, that's what they need to help them feel fulfilled, & content. I understand lots of kids to be adopted who are no longer babies, but do not 'blame' them for that happening. I think for a young couple it is better getting a newborn so the child can be close to them from young.
But the thing is that since 2017 they have been trying to get pregnant and start their own family,after many tries and finding out they can’t get pregnant they tried adopting baby girls but found out the “pregnant mother” scammed multiple family’s including them all at the same time and never was giving them babies or ever even pregnant. They where heart broken and donated all of their twin supplies to Bella’s aunts friend who was expecting twins. They started over with the nursery and finally got the call that a woman had given birth to a baby girl but couldn’t care for her and wanted them to be her parents so they flew to the family emediatly and adopted their now baby girl. It’s not that they didn’t want a kid and only wanted a baby, it’s that they wanted to be able to raise a kid from birth till adult hood and be able to be there every step of the way, be able to care for them and see them grow up. I 100% support Della Vlogs, at the time I’m commenting this they have adopted their little girl, named her Story and are so happy to have her!! Some of their RUclipsr friends like Matt and Abby who have a new born and a 1 year old have supported them in this journey and I support them as well. There is NOTHING wrong with adopting whether it’s a new born or a 17 year old soon to be adult. This is not hate towards this girl who made the video, I’m just here to inform everyone😄😄

I have several family members that are adopted. There is nothing wrong with wanting to adopt a baby. Yes all ages need homes but they want a baby first. Also there are so many unwanted babies that end up in dumpsters, bathrooms and even worse, Maybe that is what they’re saying. I am a Purpose Partner with Bella’s company and seeing her and Dallin struggle is so sad. People adopt babies all the time why is it so wrong for them to want to do the same?

There are many situations where the mothers could in fact take care of the infant and choose to put up for adoption but there are so many heartbreaking situations where the mother puts their baby up for adoption because they feel they can get a better life with someone else. To be honest, in my opinion the reason for the last clip I feel may have been letting anyone who is having thoughts of terminating a pregnancy, that there is another option.
I was adopted myself, mom had me at the age of 12. She could have chosen aborting me but she gave me up for adoption to give me a chance at a better life

The reason they put this last clip is because the waitlist for adopting a newborn is very long. More women are choosing abortion rather than giving their newborn for adoption. Also not everyone is made to adopt older children it takes a certain personality and skillset to do so. This is better than that youtuber (can't remember her name) that sent back their adopted child. It's not that they want a baby it's that they want to raise a future adult under their beliefs and values.

I know a very very sweet family who literally put out PAMPHLETS saying they were looking to adopt. A desperate mom in poverty found it and reached out to them. Obviously they then went about it through an agency, but the mother was so thankful to find them. The baby is now 5 years old and is the youngest of their 4 and is the most loved little girl you’ve ever seen. It’s not a super uncommon thing to do.
The problem is that they look like they wanted to adopt a baby as a doll, content, prop or an accessory!this exploitation is only bad for a baby!

Okay so her is the ACTUAL story.
So Della vlogs went through a lot of infertility (basically meaning the mother can't have children) so they can't have a child of their own, so they want to adopt. They were told by someone that they were going to be adopting a baby and then later, found out it was twins. About a few weeks after that, they found it was a scam. Recently, they just adopted a baby named Story. So they deserve no hate at all and deserve all the love and support for their new family. ❤
I don’t think anybody is angry at them. I think this is a you issue, in my opinion I would personally rather adopt a baby/toddler because then you get to see each stage of there life. I get other ages have kids that need to be adopted and placed into family’s but especially for my first child to be adopted I would prefer to adopt a baby. There so kind and I honestly don’t think anybody deserves a baby more.

There are strict guidelines for child stars in the tv and film industry. The same protections should be afforded to minors who are often unwilling participants (like yours) in their parents’ quest for internet fame and the money that comes with it. Washington state is already beginning the process of such legislation, and other states should follow suit. I hope something is done soon.

I don’t think people can fully understand the mental toll infertility takes on you. You go to a complete state of desperation. You walk through stores just to go through the baby isle. You loose friends and feel guilty blocking people you know on Facebook, because you cant bare to see them with their kids. It can turn you into a bitter desperate person. You have this beautiful vision in your head of you cradling a newborn with your husbands eyes and your hair. It’s biological that most people want that.
Also, I agree in supporting adoption of all ages!! However it’s perfectly valid for them to want a baby, because that’s usually where most couples start. If you’re upset with them for wanting a baby then you’re upset with every couple who’s getting pregnant 😂.very backhanded. I don’t find anything offensive about it and honestly I don’t blame them. They are a couple that has suffered through infertility for the last 5 years and I can’t blame them for their first child to want a newborn. If you’ve ever attended adoption or foster classes they tell you there is nothing wrong with wanting to start out with newborns. I’ve had many friends adopt newborns first and older children second.
Also they recommend if you have a way to share you are looking to adopt or know someone looking to place a child for adoption then to go that route. I think people just look for a reason to attack these creators and should leave the sincere ones alone.
