- If some of you are confused on the title.. this below explains a little better.
December 4th will forever be one of the best days of our lives!!
"An adoption is finalized when all of the necessary post-placement requirements have been met. When people ask, “When does the adoption become final for the adopting parents?” In most adoptions, the final adoption hearing occurs around six months after placement, although some hearings can happen as little as three months or up to a year after placement."
"Traditionally, adoption finalization occurs in a courtroom, although more and more judges are offering final adoption hearings over video-call or phone call. Your adoption specialist and adoption attorney will work together to schedule this hearing and ensure you are prepared for any questions that may be asked during this process"

My dad is a family court judge and he finalizes adoptions all of the time and I just think adoption is so incredibly beautiful. You guys are the sweetest family 🫶

As an adoptive mom to 3 girls and 1 boy, I cried watching the adoption. There is no better feeling than when the judge declares that we are that child’s forever family. People always tell us how lucky we are, not realizing that we are the lucky ones, the blessed ones. Congratulations on finalizing the adoption! ❤️
Your grandparents dressing up is the highlight of my day, grandpa even wore a shirt and tie. That’s so heartwarming, May the blessings of this season shine through your family ❤️

Yes I am so happy. This family touches so many other people and is a true blessing.
I cried, too. I remember the night we took our little Angel home and made all of us exceedingly happy as the youngest member of our family. She is now 17 and a very sweet and loving girl.
I love how even all the grandparents are dressed up for the zoom! So sweet!
It's heart-warming to hear Story verbalize her adoption journey. Children absolutely are a precious blessing that brings so much joy and love into our lives.

Congratulations! This video brought back such great memories and happy tears of our adoption finalization 11 years ago. The words “as if she were born to both of you” were also my favorite words from our hearing. What a blessing adoption is!

I adopted my daughter who i talked her 16 year old birth mother out of aborting. I am infertal. I couldn't have children like 7% of all other couples. I adopted my half black half white daughter and I know what it feels like to finally be a mother. My daughter, like both her 16 year old birth mother and 15 year old birth father went to college and became math teachers. My daughter is so amazing, she is so resealable. So amazing. Such an amazing person. I am so blessed by God for her. I am so happy for you . I forgot our court hearing until I seen this.
As an adopted person, adopted at 6weeks old, i can tell you it was the biggest blessing of my life. You guys are a beautiful little family, love and hugs to you all. Bella carried her baby in her heart in oppsose to under her heart.
Two of our children came to us through adoption. I remember those days so vividly. They are now 35 and 26. I also have a daughter that was born to us she is 23. Yes after many rounds of infertility treatments. I became pregnant at 40 and had her at 41. I would never change a thing about those wonderful experiences. Bella you might have said it best. Our children healed our hearts. Adoption finalization allows one to exhale.❤

Your channel popped up on my feed out of nowhere and has been making me happy cry for a couple of days now. Congratulations on your beautiful family and beautiful traditions! My husband and I just welcomed a baby girl into our family this year so this hits home. We struggled with infertility for 5 years as well, so we can totally understand the deep levels of love after such loss and sadness, and it makes the happiness even more sweet.

Awww this is so sweet! Last year I got to watch the adoption of my lifetime friend of 18 years and his two younger siblings. My entire church hosted a party for them and we all watched the court hearing. It was just so so awesome and sweet! God bless!

I was adopted at 9 months old on July 21st 1997 and it has been the biggest blessing for the past 27 years. Our son was born on December 9th 44 years ago. He has been the light of our life. We are now grandparents to two beautiful children and are very involved grandparents. A family was all we ever wanted, and adoption made that possible. Enjoy your daughter.

You should make a 10 piece stencil that you could reuse each year, and it would be to cut specific pieces out of the bottom tree slice that you save, and then glue the pieces together to eventually make a new full slice that includes a small piece from 10 years of Christmas trees. This probably makes no sense outside of my brain, but would be such a cute sentimental thing.
I love the tree you picked out! You could also make an ornament out of that little circle of wood! Paint the front a different design every year!

This reminds me of my adoption story. Adopting my son was one of the best days ever, it wasn’t smooth and it was messy but he is 16 now and he is just the best. Your family radiate love. Story is lucky to have you, and you are so lucky to have her, she is a cool super chilled baby. So beautiful. ❤❤

I had my granddaughter since she was a baby. At 2 yrs old the adoption was final. I cried too. She will be 18 yrs old in June. She graduates in May and heads to college. Enjoy every moment. It goes my so quickly. Congratulations. 🎉
