One of the best japanese cars. Highly underrated, especially in Europe.

This is a fine GT, don't have to be lightning fast, it has stlye and comfort with a good amount of power. Love it
Until you use the infotainment
Zayd Mohammad this a GT, a good infotainment is necessary for a good drive. This infotainment is very dangerous to use since its hard to control. Jason Camissa said it himself, he doesn’t recommend the car to anyone simply because of its infotainment. Guy has been in the game for a long time and talks some real shit unlike other journalists.
Zayd Mohammad remember tho, we’re in 2020, people rely on these systems heavily even though it shouldn’t be number one priority. Things like apple carplay or changing drive modes can be difficult and it shouldn’t be for a car of that price.

@@CP-vg4vy Its not thaty bad when you get used to it at all, it actually becomes quite easy, I've never had any problem with these infotainments. These Journalists only get the cars for a short while, so they aren't used to it and it seems very foreign but after some time, you have muscle memory and your hand pretty much rests there for most of the time

hard cut limiters are the best!
RB26DETT is that why Lexus rev limiter sound so different from other manufactures? I’ve never been able to get a clear answer on that.
Jordan Banko most cars now use soft cut limiters such as bmw, but audi and porsche still uses hard cut one. you can search the difference of sound between a soft cut and a hard cut limiter.

Jay doesn't have anything to do with if it's a dual clutch or not...the Rs 6 has a ZF 8 Speed torque converter but still farts on upshifts
Umut Mutlu I think it just shifts quicker and that eliminates the mute sound in between shifts, it not necessarily farts.

Jay the fart is a result of the engine cutting fuel and not the gearbox itself

There is no wood in this car. The brown material is Alcantara on the doors and headliner and the rest is leather.

It is an air noise problem due to a sealing problem between the seal against the body and the glass. It is certainly nice to make doors without jamb, but here is the type of problem that we get at high speed... having in the past exactly the same sound around 220km/h with a Subaru STI on German highway. No more buying car with doors wihout jamb.
My guess is the fuel pump.
Sound so much better than V8 from AMG or BMW

For the price though and for the 0 to 60 you can pick something for 20k cheaper like an s4, m3 or even a cla amg 45 and they all do the 0 to 60 almost a second quicker. Then again german engineering. Japanese get the better reliability but he'll if you got cash who cares, go with porsche for speed. However lexus did a great job with this beast

Würde ich jedem C63, der teils sogar noch mehr kostet, vorziehen. Es ist mir egal, ob der Lexus ein paar Zehntelsekunden langsamer ist. Der Innenraum, das M&L-Soundsystem und vor allem Materialauswahl- und verarbeitung sind Gründe genug für dieses Auto.

Hi to all car enthusiasts... I would like to ask you for yor opinion. If you should chose between c63 amg sedan, Giulia QV and Lexus LC 500 and you could by them for (plus / minus ) the same price.. what would be your choice please (I know that cars belongs to different categories.) And you were aged around 62 and this would be probably your last car which you will be able to buy ( because of retirement and also because driving license rules are more and more strict with higher age and health ) thank you.

if the c63 is with the 6.2 engine probably the amg but if it's with the 4.0 biturbo then the lc 500

Yes. It's a GT. Gears 7,8,9 and 10 are overdrive gears.
How weak is the low end when it barely spins the tires? Pretty lame for any v8.

Traction control on. U know a last gen hilux with barely 200hp can spin its rears when u dump the clutch? Yeah. Doesnt take alot to light up the rear.

Wow! Who wouldn't want to own a Porsche 911S that has a reliability rating of 2 out of 5. It takes a real genius to go shopping for a car and actually choose something that crappy. Nope. I'll take the much slower LC 500 and know that I can successfully travel past the local repair shop without having to leave my car there waiting for ultra-expensive, poorly made parts. Being a masochist isn't my style but obviously there are those kinds of weirdos on this planet. I enjoy my 2018 LC 500. In four years it doesn't even have a squeak. It's as rock solid as the day I got it. Don't get me wrong. I love racing but only on a race track. Hot dogging around public roads and going 160 mph while flying past other cars may be legal in some places but when something goes wrong, it gets really messy. This idiot reviewer has one thing on the brain and that's speed. Let's hope nothing happens to him or anyone else.

If only the infotainment system was absolutely shit, it would almost have a perfect car
FuzzyLogic66 the infotainment isn’t even that bad. Lexus buyers have said that the RTI system is quite fine and it’s just the idiots who are simply reviewing a car for a short time are the ones bitching about it. If they were to try to have the car for a prolonged period of time, you’d hear very little complaints.
