Love the no nonsense, honest approach to your content. You're obviously very successful and own a lot of luxury items but don't come across as bragging. The same goes for your brother James. Respect.
Love how open and honest you are. This has been one of the good ones but you will be on to bigger and better I’m sure. It’s your choice, you have had your fun and lost nothing. Win win
Completely understand Tom, here's to the future 🥂💯. Selling cars at buying new ones are part of the business but also the enjoyment. You've got the support of many just like me 👍🏾
I know why you bought it........so you can think you are important and tell us about it....then you say you are selling it because again you think we care.....and that you are more important then you really are.
Tom - Your doing extremely well with your resales. I understand if you sell to a private client who will pay you list, happy days! Not always easy or safe. Whilst a broker would want to take their SOR pound of flesh . & a garage is likely to pay you 20k less than list on a cheque for that car. What’s your secret? As in this market it’s extremely difficult to get your money back on any new car purchase? Info in your next video please.
Provide some content on a car before you get rid, otherwise whats the point of having a car based youtube channel 😅 too many folk are doing this gets a car provides no content then sells it
I get the point that if you didnt spec it.. is less special, easy come easy go.. but the 911 turbo s is a phenomenal piece of engineering.. glad your specing one.. thinking of selling my 992 c2s for a turbo s.. wonder what colour you pick ?
my theory is that’s the typical deal these bloggers and collectors have with dealers - this will go back to dealer based on the deal made with dealer. “Free”. Then the dealer can resell at higher than list. Just watch this space on who gets all the GT3’s and then what happens when they go back to dealers for price uplifts
It’s logical i mean, if you know you can get taste, you truly enter in the experience. When the car is blank obviously it’s more like a stale experience, still it delivers. But life is one guys, don’t be afraid of asking for a little bit more!
I’ve had 140 cars in 39 years, but I think you have me beat....I think at this point I’m stuck in my 911. At least you drive your Porsche..a lot of people in Scottsdale, AZ, park their 911’s in their garage for 3 years here
You won’t get Sport design kit (Aero Kit) on anymore Turbo’s this year Tom, they’ve stopped them, ‘22 earliest for one of those now, as far as we know.
Is there no taxes and fees in the UK on car purchases? In most US states one needs to pay sales tax on cars, which is often 7+%. Many states also collect property taxes on cars as well (just like tax on your real property). Thus is a very poor financial decisions to buy and sell cars frequently since you ll just be paying lots of taxes to the government each time you buy one. So just want to know if that's the same in the UK?
Obviously, you like the car otherwise you wouldn’t order another one to spec and you especially wouldn’t order a cab in between which says a lot about the car
To be honest I think the Porsche turbo s is a great ‘car’ but it’s abit dull as far as engagement goes, maybe an exhaust would fix some of that but who knows
I agree. But sometimes it's a dull day or you have a long motorway trip and you just want to go somewhere in something that is nice to drive, comfortable and easy, while still being enjoyable. The 911 turbo S is absolutely that car. Though I hear they can be a bit noisy which would put me off using it in that way.
Smashing it again Tom, get in & out of the newer cars making great business sense. Then invest in the classics / older cars. Love how your journey is going, inspiring others by just doing your thing. Good on you mate 👍
I think its a smart move anyway. I think with the speed that technology is moving at the minute it might be hard to settle on a keeper with anything contemporary. Besides, with the 996 C4S, the 912 and the Classic 911 you already have an incredibly interesting stable and retrospective foundation to grow with, yet at the same time maintaining the ability to have a less emotional 'play' with the more modern cars available. A win win .....
If you can enjoy something and come out of it not owing any money and potentially get some money back, that's a win in my book. You'll love the 992 Turbo S Cab in summer! My 992 GT3 arrives summer whoop whoop 🙌
Damned if you do damned if you don’t 🙄. It absolutely makes sense to sell if the money is strong, and I personally like seeing all the different cars come through the garage! Great stuff. Nice car though, even if it isn’t your ideal specification.
Looking forward to seeing them silver wheels on your own spec Ladd. We all knew it was coming, and is certainly the right move. This is the perfect spec for resale, market loves these. 🤗🤗
What about the taxes? You'd lose that wouldn't you? In Canada, if you bought a $100 000 car, you'd pay approx 20% extra taxes, making the total 120 000. When you go to sell it however, you wouldn't be able to recoup those taxes by charging 120 000 for it. EVEN if you could get sticker price "100 000" you'd lose the $20 000 that you paid in taxes.
Good decision I think. Also a Cullinan would be unreal, never seen one in my part of the world but I absolutely love how they look, spec is key though.
C.. c.. c.. chaos to have enjoyed such a weapon for potentially free. Makes perfect business sense if you were to get out Tom. Look forward to seeing a full send TGE spec later down the line
Done 1200 mile !!!!! I would do about 250 in an afternoon, and did so recently with a loaner from the Porsche dealership. 1200 miles! 🙄 That’s statement ownership and you haven’t driven it enough to give true ownership opinion, sitting in the permanent traffic jam of London does not count. Just my opinion, which I think is valid.
I agree on selling the TurboS, no need to waste money on monthly payments if you know that you're not gonna use it. Also, imo, you've too many cars, i'd do less quantity and more quality (as long as it doesnt affect your relationships with brands).
How can you even give an ownership update, you bought it, stuck it in your garage, never drove it, paid the monthlies, cleaned it once and then got rid of it. 😂
Because I owned it for 8-9 months. Drove it a fair bit too. But I live & work in London so the miles didn’t rack up. Anyway mate, buy your own & use it how you want. I won’t be rude to you about it. And if you can’t buy your own, work harder and smarter.
People are chaos, it’s your money your car you do what you please lad, there’s a reason 99% of people don’t have these cars because most of them are bleating in comments 😂
Should I get rid? The first 1000 people to use the link will get a free trial of Skillshare Premium Membership: skl.sh/tge03211
Sell it lad. They are over list which is insane
Get rid lad , cabs are cash aslong as the callipers are black 🌚
U the cab it going 2 be sick
Yeah, spec your own lad.
Cab=Cash
Only TGE can monetise a for sale advert. Props my man.
I don’t understand why people care so much about what you do with your cars.
I think the only reason we watch these RUclipsrs is because it allows us to escape reality for a while.
@@asianplatinum7764 and allows us to fantasise what it would be like to own cars like this 😂
Well tom dclearly does, he’s always updated with his bestfriend JWW and calls him out with every move regarding his cars
people are living on the internet now
Ahhhh Lewis.... You watched and commented so clearly you do.. Lol
You need an 812 GTS, they are chaos
Tom is chaos, selling the 992 Turbo S to get another one while he waits for his own spec 992 Turbo S to arrive. That’s Mayhem!
At this point, Tom must be majority shareholder of skillshare. #Churnnnn
Love the no nonsense, honest approach to your content. You're obviously very successful and own a lot of luxury items but don't come across as bragging. The same goes for your brother James. Respect.
Well said! 🔥🔥
CASH! Owned and getting out break even is CHAOOOOS 👏
I knew it’ll go soon when I saw it had yellow callipers boy
Hahahaha

hahahahahaha Cullinan would be utter money, Chrisps has won at that point.
Can’t wait to see the spec on your own 992 Turbo S
You do not own cars, just have cars for youtube, losing interest. whats the point?
You are a complete idiot
I love how you always get rid of something just before it starts to get boring
Its a good skill to have because he gets the timing right all of the time
@@callummongan9722 Especially when dealing with high value cars
Bingo! And that’s the game 🎯
@@TGE and 992 gets boring pretty fast tbh...

Nope, this is just a business I created. Try it. Then you’ll have your own 992 & won’t be so upset.
You’re a tool
Could you do a video of how much money you have lost on all the cars that your can remember. Go back as far as you can. Including any mods included
It’s coming! A full 2020 depreciation and costs video for my WHOLE garage. Hell

180k RRP. 0% down and 2400 per month wtf. That's unbelievable. No I mean that's not believable! Like at all !!

So the leasing contract is about to expire! Good for you getting a new car
A 8 month lease? You moron
I think you should keep it unless something else comes about, it's the fastest point to point car
Talked to Porsche west London to order 2022 turbo S I was shocked to learn the waiting list is 2 years well for now I stick to my turbo S 2017 ....

my turbo S 992 will be my forever car
So if you think that a 6 month old turbo s will get you higher than list price, then the new car you spec out will be much higher than list.
One of my favourites in your garage, what a machine! Get it gone for overs then on with the car churn 👌🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Like having a stamp collection on wheels. If you can get deal like that in the current financial fk up good luck on🤪
So is a 992 GT3 coming soon? I hope!
he doesn't want to slow down
Anyone know the name of the song in the beginning of the video?
