The game is great. It's just enough realism to need a bit of skill but still feels like an arcade game. I love the open world and just cruising around stopping in at races here and there but mostly just exploring the open road.
I’ve always hated this argument. Seriously, do you guys expect the game to have a Bugatti Chiron worth $400? Yeah I didn’t think so. Money is already insanely easy to get and if you have something like the loot digger set (which is insanely easy to get from the motorpass without premium) gives you double the amount of parts and like 5-7 gold parts on each ace race you do Money? There’s a race in the game that gives you like 225-400k for each time you do it.
Update: most of these problems you’ve mentioned have been completely fixed like pvp, the only thing I actually have a problem with is no cross platform. I believe that a game like this has no problem supporting it
I made a HUGE gap between me and the AI racers (so big that I was a minute ahead), then a AI racer comes zooming into first and wins the race. Like WTF.
My least favorite part about the crew 2 is that you can’t sell your cars and get your money back if you accidentally bought the wrong vehicle or if you just got tired of a vehicle
Facts. BUUUUT. If you could sell all your cars when you got bored with them I wouldn't have any cars I probably just have one car and right now I have over a hundred and it's always nice to go back after a few weeks and drive a car you haven't driven a long time
This game is awful. Every car drives like a boat there is no breaking feel. Graphics are bad wen ur driving about has a really washed out feel with no depth. It's almost impossible to win any event. Thank god I only paid 20 quid for this shocking piece of rubbish

The photo side tasks were one of my favorite aspect of the game, it added a sense of exploration to find the stuff to photo. It break the race, race and race again routine. And yeah, racing planes, against other planes, is really missing in game. Overall I agree, and still agree, to your different points (expect photo tasks). Nowadays some of them have been fixed/tuned up by patches, but lots of them are still here. But it won't prevent me from loving the game. (I'm a sucker for arcade/open world racers)
First off Tc2 is not a music game..so they’re not going to spend hours working on music in a racing game. Plus like I said it’s a racing game, not a open world game like Gta, they ofc not gonna work on pedestrians that much. Plus how is it super human if someone jumps out the way. In real life they’d jump like they never did before or run out the way. Just because there also are some mistakes, think about it, this is only their SECOND game. If me or you made a game and it was just our second game, it would be terrible. They don’t force you to take someone down, but they tell you he’s one of the best and you’d be very good if you beat him. Like real life, if you beat one of the best champions you could be the best or get an award. And actually the races are pretty different, idk why you say it’s not different. I do agree with you on the racing your friends part. But still you shouldn’t say it sucks. They did put a lot of effort in this game. Cars are pretty expensive, but also it’s better that it’s expensive. Reason why its better that the cars are expensive, is because if they are very cheap and you can get a BUNCH of cars in less then a few months. But if you get a lot of cars and a bunch of stuff, you’d start thinking that since you got almost everything, you basically think you are done with the game. If the cars are expensive, then that would encourage you to work harder, keep trying till you get the car. Then when you get the car you’d be happy and think you actually deserved it. Also you can change the controls and sensitivity in the settings, then controls would be better. Like I said this is their SECOND game, so you expect it to be the best game in the world when it’s just their second game? No hate btw, all love. We just talking here, but I really don’t like the fact you are bringing up total nonsense in my opinion and spreading the nonsense around and making people think this is a terrible game. And just to add something that I forgot to say just because they add DLC to the game doesn’t make it a good game. Considering what they turn the first game into from a straight racer to basically slot machine for parts made it even more boring. And Ubisoft games aren’t exactly that great. When the game launch lastyear I thought it was crap into me will always be crap first impressions go a long way.
If you are here for a review before you buy this game, read this: This what I said before I bought this game "I dont know why this video got disliked. Everything in the list is True." And this is after I played the game: On second thought, I bought this on Steam on a Sale. And I have played 21hrs right now. Most of the issue said above is either fixed or added to the game. there is air races and stuff. when on sale, this game is a good purchase. Trust me. I have more than 150+ hrs on FH4. and I still like this game. Its a great game to play with your friends.

I found that the driving physics is my main problem with it. It's quite different to other games physics so you really do need to relearn everything you know about racing games. Then again though, even if you do get good at the physics, the rubber banding is stupid
yeah it’s a much better game than it was when it released, and it’s still very under appreciated. it could definitely use some more polishing but it’s still a great game.
The thing that pisses me off about this game is not the expensive cars. Im used to expensive cars in game but the thing is that I was so happy to buy a Corvette Stingray and I thought it was gonna be a really good step up from my starter Audi. So I did a few races and upgraded and I thought i would be ready for the higher tier races but no. The game slaps you in the face with the most unfriendly beginner AI thats acceleration as fast as a actual Corvette while my acceleration is as fast as a truck. Its impossible to win a race unless you have a hypercar. Oh yeah, I forgot about the damned handling in this game. I cant make one turn without someone overtaking me or me spinning out and crashing.
Dude I agree with you, you have to slow down to go around a 10 degree turn, it's ridiculous that you get passed by the other AI racers while they go 3 times faster you did around the same turn. Every single car I own but one understeers, the McLaren p1, Ferrari 488 Pista, Ageara R, both Ford GT models hyper car and street race, Shelby GT500, Mustang GT, Camaro Z28, Camaro ZL1 from the icon rewards, Dodge Challenger. The only car I own that doesn't understeer, oversteers and it's the Volkswagen Golf GTI. I'm icon level 298 and I know that's not very high mostly due to the fact I don't really play that often but I get tired of the game very quickly everytime I do play, I get slammed into a wall while I brake to go around a turn or I slam into the back or front of a computer generated AI civilian car in the middle of the road during a race because of the slow responsiveness. The handling is TRASH. Ubisoft needs to fix the responsiveness and handling so WE can control our vehicles and not have the GAME sliding us into walls or have to let off the gas and brake when we go around EVERY SINGLE TURN. Honestly I wouldn't call this a racing game I would call it a vehicle crashing simulator.
For number 9. When it asks you to take a picture you actually have to take a picture of the animal or whatever it says when you do it. And it does reward you afterwards. And for new players the reward is decent.

Since I'm on PS4 this is the only game that I would want to get since Forza isn't an option. But one thing I don't like is having to always be online. I would want to cruise around the USA without worrying about getting disconnected. But that's one thing I wish was changed
You cant hit civiliam ai becauae it would void liscancing agreements with the car manufacturers it like midnight club amd how you cant hit them in that but can in gta. In gta rockstar uses made up manufacturers amd car models losely based on real life cars

Also, its kinda late by now, but remember to turn OFF the help on ABS ESP And Control Track That way u can feel a little bit less arcade mode, and actually have to care about timing well ur breaks on corners

HORRIBLE physics and rubber banding Ai make this game a no go for me. Racing a souped up classic Camaro or corvette car against a 5,000lb 4 door family sedan BOAT of a vehicle and they’re capable of taking corners way faster than you is such horse shit as well. Have the people that made this game ever even driven an actual car?
I agree pretty much with everything. The driving/steering model is mushy or floaty. There is no way to make the car handle predictably. I always use the ESP, ABS etc because it is so hard to predict what the car is going to do. I play it on PC. It is the only game I have bought that won't run in 4K with ultra settings. The draw distance is horrible.

I just hate the AI and that's it my favorite is still the crew 1 idk why they decided to stop the original story line to getting fake Twitter followers but I mean whatever I dont dislike it I dont like it it's just not my cup of tea and doesn't compare the the original so I just decided to play forza horizon 4.
tha npc ai on the street are the WORST part about this game!! They're SOOOO stupid like u clearly see a Multi Million Dollar Supercar driving at like 500mph down the street and they DON'T MOVE AT ALL!! wtf they're sooo bad. The only thing TC2 has better than TC1 is NO PAYED DLC CARS. i fucking HATED TC1 for locking literally EVERY Car Type whether it be Drift, Police, Bikes, Monster Trucks, etc. behind their own $20 DLC. i honestly don't remember TC1 ai but I'm certain TC2 ai is 1000000x WORSE
There was an issue for me, it was just how the buildings were placed. They had floating garages everywhere it really bugged me out. But I now play gta and completely quit The Crew 2 for roleplay driving especially how gta had taken time on all the details and stuff. The Crew 2 was fun but needed improvements. And to add on, the roads were stupidly placed around the map, the lines didn’t match and some of the places looked really weird.

Here are some stuff I disagree with you: 11. You can turn off the music/radio or change it by pressing Y or triangle on the controller. 10. I agree 9. I kinda agree but sometimes the Photo Ops are a little fun. Once you capture what the Photo Op wants you to capture you do get 15k bucks. 8. It spawns you outside the gate because sometimes you just want to fast travel where the race is located but not actually enter it. 7. You CAN race with planes (Air Race) and with Rally Cross cars, there are also a couple Rally Raid races with other NPC players. 6. Yeah, but with the new Seasons in The Crew 2 you get a lot more variation. 5. When you beat the Rivals they will give you a free vehicle such as a McLaren, a hovercraft, a helicopter and a Touring Car. 4. After “Star” you become “Icon” and from there you can get free vehicles from leveling up your Icon level such as a Bugatti, a Monster Truck and much more. 3. There is PvP. 2. Yes, therefore it is a lot more rewarding when you actually get your hands on the expensive cars. It is also very easy to grind money, so easy that you can get one of the very expensive cars in just one or two hours. 1. You can adjust the handling of your vehicles to your likings in the settings. There has also been updates where they updated the handling physics. I know that a lot has happened in The Crew 2 since this video was released but I just wanted to point out a couple of things. :)
Handling still sucks at 120km perfect steering 130km its like a truck money is ok 1 2 hours but they are so many cars street card ofroad ofroad bikes planes lets say they are 5 cars in each category do the math yourself how much grind it is Edit also making photos not of the cars in a racing game is kinda dumb they just wanted to make a new random event
But there’s a bonus reason why The Crew 2 sucks ass. And that is just the simple fact that it has no DLC! No new content! Nothing! Because when they add new things to the game, that content is only temporarily available. Meaning players will often be left out in an unfair disadvantage. New outfits, vehicles, add-ons and nitros. So my question is; “Why not leave all this content in the game once it’s released if you’re gonna spend time and money into making it?” It makes zero fucking sense! On top of everything mentioned in this presentation! Bottom line here, folks. Don’t play it! Don’t give in! Because unless you’re feeling lucky, you’ll just set yourself up for major disappointment. Fuck it.
In my oppinion the cars are not that expensive. I know that some dont have too much time to play it. But if you have enough time its really easy to get a car...
I think Ubisoft scammed us having expensive cars takes so much to grind just to get it. I think they added this or not but when you lvl up you can get more money as you to racing or doing Plains, drag racing, motorcycle racing, dirt bike racing anything at and when you get to lvl 100 you can make over 1,000,000 If your at lvl 1,000 you make over 12,000 idk lol but I think they should add that in the game where if the cars are too expensive You Can level up and get more money if you are doing a race and your at lvl say like 50 you make over 1000,000 at that lvl when you do a race and when you finish the race you get over 1000,000
They have finally added PvP and it's such a mess it's unspeakable. First of all you can't do parties with your friends which doesn't really matter as none of my friends wanna play this anyway. You are forced to go into matchmaking alone. Now you can choose a type of race for example the yellow one including street races and hypercar races but the race you play is based on a democratic voting system so whichever race gets the most votes is played this is the same system gta v has. Once a race is selected (you have 10 seconds to vote) you have 10 seconds to pick a car and at the same time the cars are not loading in so it's impossible to make a well considered decision on which car to use and I've had countless times where I didn't get to change my car for a race because they're not loading in and the timer is so short. You can also tune your car before the race but the fact that you have a 10 second limit makes it impossible to change anything you have to back out completely and restart matchmaking. Now matchmaking itself is relatively fast but only by sacrificing all quality. The max lobby size is 8 which is pretty small already but still I haven't seen a full lobby yet. The most I see is 3 to 4 players per lobby. Furthermore the races themselves are extremely unbalanced in the hypercar category the fully tuned Chiron will always win. In the street car category the fully tuned superbikes will always win. Unless the driver makes major mistakes. They could utilize a power cap like in gran turismo sport. I initially got this game but uninstalled it because of no PvP. Heard they added a PvP and redownloaded it but now I'm disappointed all over again. I still enjoy playing this game here and there because of the cars and beautiful scenery but honestly it's not worth the money and Ubisoft as a company sucks.
I feel like they should upgrade the map IMO. I mean, it has remained more or less the same for over 6 years since the first crew game released, and parts of the map (Chicago, Washington D.C, San Francisco, Seattle) look garbage, and need to be updated with real life landmarks and such. Also, they need to add more natural landmark (Great Smoky Mountains, Appalachian Mountains, Georgia/North Carolina Barrier Islands/Ozarks) and more cities in general(Houston/Boston/Atlanta/Indianapolis/Minneapolis/Portland/Memphis/Charleston/San Antonio/Austin/Philadelphia/Pittsburgh)
50 reasons here ubi is worse then ea but ubi perfected mobile game as a service game. Wont bother listing any people like these low standards game they prefer gfx over great gameplay. Casualcrew 2.... I had early driving was better but day 1 patch made it worse.
The thing that annoys me is that the higher icon you are the more bucks you can basically earn, however when you finally reach that icon level you already have most of the cars you want anyway, which makes earning more bucks for races pointless.
Dude honestly the handling deserves to number one I threw my controller and ranted to my friend for close to an hour because of that and I rarely rage. This and Call of duty modern warfare are the only games that I get pissed at
i played the original crew and... God. The ai in races.. Sometimes youll beat them by literally miles and sometimes they rubber band to you and get up to like 400 mph OFFROAD... its insane. I lost my mind and broke my Xbox controller. Havent played it since. It also has 0 bikes which is sad

The photo ops are from the Test Drive Unlimited games that the Crew games continue from. They are ways to help you advance and get more Icon points, and also to familiarize you with the camera functions. Every open world game should have a camera function. I know it's superfluous these days, what with both your console and your video card drivers having their own overlays. Just be glad they did away with the task of going down every freaking street on the map. That one drove players absolutely nuts, trying to find the last little connective avenue in a sector. Those introductory voice overs take the place of a functional story. And yeah, I hate them too. I would much rather have a story. I especially hate the races that begin and end with videos. It's fine the first time you do a race, but they shouldn't repeat the second time through. Failing that, there should be a way to disable cut scenes. There are off road races with AI opponents. They just aren't normal events called races, but rather rival races and Live Extreme events. You might have a point about the planes, though. They all do seem to be figure flying. Yeah, the rivals suck. Again, they take the place of story. TDU2 was like this. You are a pro racer competing in multiple vehicle types and classes. There's not much more to it than that. The main differences are that exploring means taking pics and going down every street, plus buying homes (the equivalent of headquarters, but there are more of them and you need them for garage space). I never played TDU1, but understand that it used the same environment as TDU2: Hawaii. After playing both Crew games, I suspect that the first Test Drive Unlimited 1 (there were two of them) may have been an illegal racer. It would explain why the first Crew game (which was an illegal racing game) had a story, but not the second. There is no story to legit racing. You're a pro, so your job is to race and you aren't doing anything wrong, so there's no conflict. It takes a long time to beat your rivals. The side events help you earn bonuses and the skills earn you parts. Even if you buy the coin for what you want online, exploring the world is a serious undertaking, and when you're done you will have many vehicles, even if you're a cheap bastard like me who refused to pony up real cash. I do think it lame that Ubisoft is being greedy, but don't begrudge other players the option. They are just wasting money, especially if it turns out later they bought something they would get for free if they just kept playing. Racing physics vary from game to game, and I personally had no problem or lag issues, so I suggest that if you are, the fault lies with your system, not the game. I'm surprised you didn't mention one that bugs me no end. In other races, the checkpoints are just visual cues without substance, but in the motocross dirt bike races, they are physical objects that get in your way. This pisses me off no end, because it prevents me from taking full advantage of my nitrus while jumping quite often. Particularly in that NorthEastern-most event. The damn super-sized goal posts are constantly ruining it for me. BTW, you are using your nitrus wrong. It took me months to realize this, but the dirt bike races drove it home. Reset your icon points for nitrus bonuses, and only use nitrus while in the air. Engage only when you actually hit the jump, and you will jump far ahead of the other racers. One would think that one should speed up on approach, but it just wastes nitrus.
Yesterday i bought it on steam sale, i had to say that 2 years later and at 60FPS on ultra setup, it looks beautiful but I agree with the first and second point, once I saw that there were real money transactions to get cars even if I got the gold version I asked for a refund lol.
I would also add. The day night cycle is completely borked, it snows across the whole map if it snows, and ivory tower cant make the gameplay smooth for pc to save their life. I dont have a monster rig or anything, but stuttering happens despite the settings. They patched it and fixed it, then later patched something else and it came back. The Crew games are garbage tier games. 10 months ago they locked me out of The Crew 1 because of a server favorites error. The Crew 2 story and lack of long races "racer racing races, you gotta race cause racing is what racers do and you're a racer so go race" Its literally painful for me to even think about these 2 games, one of which I literally cant play anymore, the other that has almost no longer races, and both of which have major technical problems. Garbage tier, and Ubisoft should fire the team that made these games. Cause they are so bad I put Ubisoft on my "do not buy games from them" list.
Great video! I wish that I would have watched it before I purchased TC2! But, after using it for about 2 months now, I can verify your findings. There are a few more things that I would like to add in no particular order. 1-The LOOT systems sucks! Once you purchase a car, you have to race forever to get the LOOT so that the car levels out at the maximum level! But, it doesn't stop there. 2- Once you get all GOLD LOOT, which takes forever because when you're missing one GOLD LOOT the system keeps on giving you loot in the other categories that you already have GOLD LOOT for and not in the category that you actually need it for! 3-The GOLD LOOT has to have the same type of SYMBOL on the LOOT in order for you to max out one of 5 different categories that will let you max out that category and double rewards in LOOT, LIVE REWARDS, POPULARITY (FANS), SKILL POINTS, & NITRO! 4-Once you finally have all of the GOLD LOOT with the same symbols, then you can spend money that you've earned from races to basically place that money in a LOOT slot machine, pull the lever and hope that you can max out the car further before you've spent more than 4 times what the car already cost you! 5-Yes the handling is crap! Even in GTA V the cars handle pretty much like you've just driven them off the dealership lot and all you have to do is to buy a spoiler for more traction & other upgrades for better acceleration & top speed! But in TC2, the handling is bad when you buy the car and even though you spend 12 hours trying to fine tune this car, it still just doesn't feel right! Feels like you're pulling a trailer, lol 6-Unless you're racing on an actual race track or a MotoCross event, random cars just appear either right in front of you or they come from the side street and just stop in the middle of the intersection! WTF! At least in GTA online you can turn off traffic! Hell, you can even make you're own races in GTA Online! 7-After The Crew 2 has an update fixing a bug, like the Wall Riding or BackTrack onto the nearest highway when trying to take a shortcut, they don't clear the leader board! So, you have no chance of becoming number one in that or any other race! I've always thought that was the point of racing! To be the best! But how can you be the best when they don't clear the leader boards fill with times that have used glitches to reach the top spots on the leader board? NFW! 8-The texting in GTA is so much easier to use than in TC2. You just hit either T or Y, type what you want to say, and it's right there on the screen! In TC2 they want you to purchase freakin Emoji's to describe how you're feeling and texting is an afterthought! 9-Yes 2 months to reach Icon Level 873 and I don't do the LIVE SUMMIT stuff because the one time that I did, the guys with the much higher levels that have all of their category points maxed out, flew by me like I was standing still! 10-I emailed The Ivory Tower, but they didn't respond. So, I emailed them again in French being they are in France and still no reply! I know that they are the game creators, but I would have been happy if the would have sent me an email that just said FUCK OFF! But, nothing is unacceptable. Well, I don't want to go on forever so I will just say that you made a nice video and ask you what racing game do you actually play now? It has to be better than TC2! :)
Aight buddy the reason that the higher level flew by you is bc they tuned their cars, yes the recalibrating is bad, but it’s worth it, and as for them resetting the leaderboards, with how you’re acting, I doubt you’d get top 50,000

Well I have a long list of things that annoy me. 1) Too many super and hyper cars. 2) Its name. It has nothing to do with the first game. It feels like we're an actor playing a role in different films. 3) "Illegal" isn't so "illegal" when streets are cut for street races that are supposed to be "illegal". 4) Rally Raid. Too many bumps and jumps that make the car steer out of control easily. Too many obstacles in the way for a race that's supposed to be about choosing your own route... I mean, am I really allowed? I can't even see. 5) Hoovercrafts. 6) Car list. In general. 7) Too many of the same cars. I don't need 50 Shades of Insert Hypercar here. 8) Too many microtransactions. One is one too many for a game we've already paid for. 9) You can't access cars from past summits. So players that got the game later are blocked from content by no fault of their own. 10) Cheats and exploiters everywhere allowed to flourish like a cancer. 11) Performance tunning is incomprehensive. If you're going to use generic terms, explain what they do when you change the parameters. 12) Make those changes actually do something, not just the Aerodynamics - which no, they don't work like that - and the sway bars - which no, they don't work like that either. 13) Motorcycles don't have dedicated events outside Motocross. 14) Motorcycles are not viable. 15) You can't sell cars. 16) Pointless side missions. I don't want to take pictures of bears or my cars in specific situations, much less be forced to have specific cars to complete a mission. 15) Nearly every update after the Midnight Hunt thing has been about scoring points and time trials. 17) There's exactly one good car that came with an update: Nissan ZX Twin Turbo. 18) The type of event you have to unlock it is poorly made. Most times, the map hints aren't clear enough, especially when there are several buildings with the same name within similar areas. 19) The headlights don't work in first person cameras. 20) Useless headlights. 21) The snow obstructs the view of the racing line. 22) This is a mistake in every game that has traffic in races: RANDOM SPAWNING TRAFFIC IN CONRNERS AND BLIND SPOTS. 22) There's an odd bug with a certain GT2 Porsche that is game breaking. The bug is as follows: The car disappears in the menu, which is followed by all the other cars and soon enough, the entire image. 23) Endless grinding for Credits.
FIXING PROBLEMS: 11-TURN OFF THE RADIO 10-Pedestrians aren't important 9-dont do those tasks!!! 8-bruh.. 7-If you like rally 👍🏼 if you dont, DONT DO IT 6-Gotta give you that one 5-that one too but it doesnt ruin the game 4-get money= GET COOL ASS CARS 3-You can do pvp now 2-the more you progress you get profile pounts and have more money for each race 1-you get used to it

The real reason this game is Ass is I exchanged Detroit: Become Human for this terrible shit and had to charge $15 for it and then when I was gonna exchange this ass game for Marvels Spiderman,I had to charge $30 because in our region no one buys this shit and they had to sell it really cheap.

I think I have enough experience in this game for a very valid opinion on it, considering I held world records and am lvl 1000+, and I can tell you this. The game is a complete mess. Biggest disappointment that I might have to make my own video on it, which will be much more of a rant.
I’d say you don’t have a “very valid opinion” but hitting lvl 1000 grants you some respect, here’s my advice, tune your cars and look for help, this may be hard, but once you do get there, it’s super fun

theres a 5% chance of u hitting a pedestrian without them jumping, your controller will vibrate, the pedestrian disappears, and you'll get scratches on your car

I’ve always hated this argument. Seriously, do you guys expect the game to have a Bugatti Chiron worth $400? Yeah I didn’t think so. Money is already insanely easy to get and if you have something like the loot digger set (which is insanely easy to get from the motorpass without premium) gives you double the amount of parts and like 5-7 gold parts on each ace race you do
Money? There’s a race in the game that gives you like 225-400k for each time you do it.
Update: most of these problems you’ve mentioned have been completely fixed like pvp, the only thing I actually have a problem with is no cross platform.

I made a HUGE gap between me and the AI racers (so big that I was a minute ahead), then a AI racer comes zooming into first and wins the race. Like WTF.
My least favorite part about the crew 2 is that you can’t sell your cars and get your money back if you accidentally bought the wrong vehicle or if you just got tired of a vehicle

The photo side tasks were one of my favorite aspect of the game, it added a sense of exploration to find the stuff to photo. It break the race, race and race again routine.
And yeah, racing planes, against other planes, is really missing in game.
Overall I agree, and still agree, to your different points (expect photo tasks). Nowadays some of them have been fixed/tuned up by patches, but lots of them are still here. But it won't prevent me from loving the game. (I'm a sucker for arcade/open world racers)
First off Tc2 is not a music game..so they’re not going to spend hours working on music in a racing game. Plus like I said it’s a racing game, not a open world game like Gta, they ofc not gonna work on pedestrians that much. Plus how is it super human if someone jumps out the way. In real life they’d jump like they never did before or run out the way. Just because there also are some mistakes, think about it, this is only their SECOND game. If me or you made a game and it was just our second game, it would be terrible. They don’t force you to take someone down, but they tell you he’s one of the best and you’d be very good if you beat him. Like real life, if you beat one of the best champions you could be the best or get an award. And actually the races are pretty different, idk why you say it’s not different. I do agree with you on the racing your friends part. But still you shouldn’t say it sucks. They did put a lot of effort in this game. Cars are pretty expensive, but also it’s better that it’s expensive. Reason why its better that the cars are expensive, is because if they are very cheap and you can get a BUNCH of cars in less then a few months. But if you get a lot of cars and a bunch of stuff, you’d start thinking that since you got almost everything, you basically think you are done with the game. If the cars are expensive, then that would encourage you to work harder, keep trying till you get the car. Then when you get the car you’d be happy and think you actually deserved it. Also you can change the controls and sensitivity in the settings, then controls would be better. Like I said this is their SECOND game, so you expect it to be the best game in the world when it’s just their second game? No hate btw, all love. And just to add something that I forgot to say just because they add DLC to the game doesn’t make it a good game. Considering what they turn the first game into from a straight racer to basically slot machine for parts made it even more boring. And Ubisoft games aren’t exactly that great. I found that the driving physics is my main problem with it. It's quite different to other games physics so you really do need to relearn everything you know about racing games. Then again though, even if you do get good at the physics, the rubber banding is stupid

The thing that pisses me off about this game is not the expensive cars. Im used to expensive cars in game but the thing is that I was so happy to buy a Corvette Stingray and I thought it was gonna be a really good step up from my starter Audi. So I did a few races and upgraded and I thought i would be ready for the higher tier races but no. The game slaps you in the face with the most unfriendly beginner AI thats acceleration as fast as a actual Corvette while my acceleration is as fast as a truck. Its impossible to win a race unless you have a hypercar. Oh yeah, I forgot about the damned handling in this game. I cant make one turn without someone overtaking me or me spinning out and crashing.

Dude I agree with you, you have to slow down to go around a 10 degree turn, it's ridiculous that you get passed by the other AI racers while they go 3 times faster you did around the same turn. Every single car I own but one understeers, the McLaren p1, Ferrari 488 Pista, Ageara R, both Ford GT models hyper car and street race, Shelby GT500, Mustang GT, Camaro Z28, Camaro ZL1 from the icon rewards, Dodge Challenger. The only car I own that doesn't understeer, oversteers and it's the Volkswagen Golf GTI. I'm icon level 298 and I know that's not very high mostly due to the fact I don't really play that often but I get tired of the game very quickly everytime I do play, I get slammed into a wall while I brake to go around a turn or I slam into the back or front of a computer generated AI civilian car in the middle of the road during a race because of the slow responsiveness. The handling is TRASH. Ubisoft needs to fix the responsiveness and handling so WE can control our vehicles and not have the GAME sliding us into walls or have to let off the gas and brake when we go around EVERY SINGLE TURN. Honestly I wouldn't call this a racing game I would call it a vehicle crashing simulator.

For number 9. When it asks you to take a picture you actually have to take a picture of the animal or whatever it says when you do it. And it does reward you afterwards. And for new players the reward is decent.

Since I'm on PS4 this is the only game that I would want to get since Forza isn't an option. But one thing I don't like is having to always be online. I would want to cruise around the USA without worrying about getting disconnected. But that's one thing I wish was changed

I agree pretty much with everything. The driving/steering model is mushy or floaty. There is no way to make the car handle predictably. I always use the ESP, ABS etc because it is so hard to predict what the car is going to do. I play it on PC. It is the only game I have bought that won't run in 4K with ultra settings. The draw distance is horrible.
I have a liquid cooled over clocked 7900x, 64GB RAM, 2TB M.2 Drive and 2x GTX 1080 TIs.
Rn crew 2 has had so many updates and most of these have been fixed

In this game, the four-wheel drive car is understeering and the rear wheel drive steering is very flexible.

They're SOOOO stupid like u clearly see a Multi Million Dollar Supercar driving at like 500mph down the street and they DON'T MOVE AT ALL!! wtf they're sooo bad. The only thing TC2 has better than TC1 is NO PAYED DLC CARS. i fucking HATED TC1 for locking literally EVERY Car Type whether it be Drift, Police, Bikes, Monster Trucks, etc. behind their own $20 DLC. i honestly don't remember TC1 ai but I'm certain TC2 ai is 1000000x WORSE
There was an issue for me, it was just how the buildings were placed. They had floating garages everywhere it really bugged me out. But I now play gta and completely quit The Crew 2 for roleplay driving especially how gta had taken time on all the details and stuff. The Crew 2 was fun but needed improvements.
And to add on, the roads were stupidly placed around the map, the lines didn’t match and some of the places looked really weird.
For me Crew 2 is awesome and fun

6. Yeah, but with the new Seasons in The Crew 2 you get a lot more variation.
5. When you beat the Rivals they will give you a free vehicle such as a McLaren, a hovercraft, a helicopter and a Touring Car.
4. After “Star” you become “Icon” and from there you can get free vehicles from leveling up your Icon level such as a Bugatti, a Monster Truck and much more.
3. There is PvP.
2. Yes, therefore it is a lot more rewarding when you actually get your hands on the expensive cars. It is also very easy to grind money, so easy that you can get one of the very expensive cars in just one or two hours.
1. You can adjust the handling of your vehicles to your likings in the settings. There has also been updates where they updated the handling physics.
I know that a lot has happened in The Crew 2 since this video was released but I just wanted to point out a couple of things. :)
Handling still sucks at 120km perfect steering 130km its like a truck money is ok 1 2 hours but they are so many cars street card ofroad ofroad bikes planes lets say they are 5 cars in each category do the math yourself how much grind it is

But there’s a bonus reason why The Crew 2 sucks ass. And that is just the simple fact that it has no DLC! No new content! Nothing! Because when they add new things to the game, that content is only temporarily available. Meaning players will often be left out in an unfair disadvantage. New outfits, vehicles, add-ons and nitros. So my question is; “Why not leave all this content in the game once it’s released if you’re gonna spend time and money into making it?” It makes zero fucking sense! On top of everything mentioned in this presentation! Bottom line here, folks. Don’t play it! Don’t give in! Because unless you’re feeling lucky, you’ll just set yourself up for major disappointment. Fuck it.

I think Ubisoft scammed us having expensive cars takes so much to grind just to get it. I think they added this or not but when you lvl up you can get more money as you to racing or doing Plains, drag racing, motorcycle racing, dirt bike racing anything at and when you get to lvl 100 you can make over 1,000,000
If your at lvl 1,000 you make over 12,000 idk lol but I think they should add that in the game where if the cars are too expensive You Can level up and get more money if you are doing a race and your at lvl say like 50 you make over 1000,000 at that lvl when you do a race and when you finish the race you get over 1000,000
They have finally added PvP and it's such a mess it's unspeakable. First of all you can't do parties with your friends which doesn't really matter as none of my friends wanna play this anyway. You are forced to go into matchmaking alone. Now you can choose a type of race for example the yellow one including street races and hypercar races but the race you play is based on a democratic voting system so whichever race gets the most votes is played this is the same system gta v has. Once a race is selected (you have 10 seconds to vote) you have 10 seconds to pick a car and at the same time the cars are not loading in so it's impossible to make a well considered decision on which car to use and I've had countless times where I didn't get to change my car for a race because they're not loading in and the timer is so short. You can also tune your car before the race but the fact that you have a 10 second limit makes it impossible to change anything you have to back out completely and restart matchmaking. Now matchmaking itself is relatively fast but only by sacrificing all quality. The max lobby size is 8 which is pretty small already but still I haven't seen a full lobby yet. The most I see is 3 to 4 players per lobby. Furthermore the races themselves are extremely unbalanced in the hypercar category the fully tuned Chiron will always win. In the street car category the fully tuned superbikes will always win. Unless the driver makes major mistakes. They could utilize a power cap like in gran turismo sport. I initially got this game but uninstalled it because of no PvP. Heard they added a PvP and redownloaded it but now I'm disappointed all over again. I still enjoy playing this game here and there because of the cars and beautiful scenery but honestly it's not worth the money and Ubisoft as a company sucks.
I feel like they should upgrade the map IMO. I mean, it has remained more or less the same for over 6 years since the first crew game released, and parts of the map (Chicago, Washington D.C, San Francisco, Seattle) look garbage, and need to be updated with real life landmarks and such. Also, they need to add more natural landmark (Great Smoky Mountains, Appalachian Mountains, Georgia/North Carolina Barrier Islands/Ozarks) and more cities in general(Houston/Boston/Atlanta/Indianapolis/Minneapolis/Portland/Memphis/Charleston/San Antonio/Austin/Philadelphia/Pittsburgh)
50 reasons here ubi is worse then ea but ubi perfected mobile game as a service game. Wont bother listing any people like these low standards game they prefer gfx over great gameplay. Casualcrew 2.... I had early driving was better but day 1 patch made it worse.

My mom got me this game for. Christmas but I have only played it once because I couldn’t get over how bad the cars felt handling wise.
The thing that annoys me is that the higher icon you are the more bucks you can basically earn, however when you finally reach that icon level you already have most of the cars you want anyway, which makes earning more bucks for races pointless.

Dude honestly the handling deserves to number one I threw my controller and ranted to my friend for close to an hour because of that and I rarely rage. This and Call of duty modern warfare are the only games that I get pissed at

The ai in races..
Sometimes youll beat them by literally miles and sometimes they rubber band to you and get up to like 400 mph OFFROAD... its insane. I lost my mind and broke my Xbox controller. Havent played it since. It also has 0 bikes which is sad

The photo ops are from the Test Drive Unlimited games that the Crew games continue from. They are ways to help you advance and get more Icon points, and also to familiarize you with the camera functions. Every open world game should have a camera function. I know it's superfluous these days, what with both your console and your video card drivers having their own overlays. Just be glad they did away with the task of going down every freaking street on the map. That one drove players absolutely nuts, trying to find the last little connective avenue in a sector.
Those introductory voice overs take the place of a functional story. And yeah, I hate them too. I would much rather have a story. I especially hate the races that begin and end with videos. It's fine the first time you do a race, but they shouldn't repeat the second time through. Failing that, there should be a way to disable cut scenes.
There are off road races with AI opponents. They just aren't normal events called races, but rather rival races and Live Extreme events. You might have a point about the planes, though. They all do seem to be figure flying.
Yeah, the rivals suck. Again, they take the place of story.
TDU2 was like this. You are a pro racer competing in multiple vehicle types and classes. There's not much more to it than that. The main differences are that exploring means taking pics and going down every street, plus buying homes (the equivalent of headquarters, but there are more of them and you need them for garage space). I never played TDU1, but understand that it used the same environment as TDU2: Hawaii. After playing both Crew games, I suspect that the first Test Drive Unlimited 1 (there were two of them) may have been an illegal racer. It would explain why the first Crew game (which was an illegal racing game) had a story, but not the second. There is no story to legit racing. You're a pro, so your job is to race and you aren't doing anything wrong, so there's no conflict.
It takes a long time to beat your rivals. The side events help you earn bonuses and the skills earn you parts. Even if you buy the coin for what you want online, exploring the world is a serious undertaking, and when you're done you will have many vehicles, even if you're a cheap bastard like me who refused to pony up real cash. I do think it lame that Ubisoft is being greedy, but don't begrudge other players the option. They are just wasting money, especially if it turns out later they bought something they would get for free if they just kept playing.
Racing physics vary from game to game, and I personally had no problem or lag issues, so I suggest that if you are, the fault lies with your system, not the game.
I'm surprised you didn't mention one that bugs me no end. In other races, the checkpoints are just visual cues without substance, but in the motocross dirt bike races, they are physical objects that get in your way. This pisses me off no end, because it prevents me from taking full advantage of my nitrus while jumping quite often. Particularly in that NorthEastern-most event. The damn super-sized goal posts are constantly ruining it for me.
BTW, you are using your nitrus wrong. It took me months to realize this, but the dirt bike races drove it home. Reset your icon points for nitrus bonuses, and only use nitrus while in the air. Engage only when you actually hit the jump, and you will jump far ahead of the other racers. One would think that one should speed up on approach, but it just wastes nitrus.

Yesterday i bought it on steam sale, i had to say that 2 years later and at 60FPS on ultra setup, it looks beautiful but I agree with the first and second point, once I saw that there were real money transactions to get cars even if I got the gold version I asked for a refund lol.
I would also add. The day night cycle is completely borked, it snows across the whole map if it snows, and ivory tower cant make the gameplay smooth for pc to save their life. I dont have a monster rig or anything, but stuttering happens despite the settings. They patched it and fixed it, then later patched something else and it came back. The Crew games are garbage tier games.
10 months ago they locked me out of The Crew 1 because of a server favorites error. The Crew 2 story and lack of long races "racer racing races, you gotta race cause racing is what racers do and you're a racer so go race" Its literally painful for me to even think about these 2 games, one of which I literally cant play anymore, the other that has almost no longer races, and both of which have major technical problems. Garbage tier, and Ubisoft should fire the team that made these games. Cause they are so bad I put Ubisoft on my "do not buy games from them" list.
Great video! I wish that I would have watched it before I purchased TC2! But, after using it for about 2 months now, I can verify your findings. There are a few more things that I would like to add in no particular order.
1-The LOOT systems sucks! Once you purchase a car, you have to race forever to get the LOOT so that the car levels out at the maximum level! But, it doesn't stop there.
2- Once you get all GOLD LOOT, which takes forever because when you're missing one GOLD LOOT the system keeps on giving you loot in the other categories that you already have GOLD LOOT for and not in the category that you actually need it for!
3-The GOLD LOOT has to have the same type of SYMBOL on the LOOT in order for you to max out one of 5 different categories that will let you max out that category and double rewards in LOOT, LIVE REWARDS, POPULARITY (FANS), SKILL POINTS, & NITRO!
4-Once you finally have all of the GOLD LOOT with the same symbols, then you can spend money that you've earned from races to basically place that money in a LOOT slot machine, pull the lever and hope that you can max out the car further before you've spent more than 4 times what the car already cost you!
5-Yes the handling is crap! Even in GTA V the cars handle pretty much like you've just driven them off the dealership lot and all you have to do is to buy a spoiler for more traction & other upgrades for better acceleration & top speed! But in TC2, the handling is bad when you buy the car and even though you spend 12 hours trying to fine tune this car, it still just doesn't feel right! Feels like you're pulling a trailer, lol
6-Unless you're racing on an actual race track or a MotoCross event, random cars just appear either right in front of you or they come from the side street and just stop in the middle of the intersection! WTF! At least in GTA online you can turn off traffic! Hell, you can even make you're own races in GTA Online!
7-After The Crew 2 has an update fixing a bug, like the Wall Riding or BackTrack onto the nearest highway when trying to take a shortcut, they don't clear the leader board! So, you have no chance of becoming number one in that or any other race! I've always thought that was the point of racing! To be the best! But how can you be the best when they don't clear the leader boards fill with times that have used glitches to reach the top spots on the leader board? NFW!
8-The texting in GTA is so much easier to use than in TC2. You just hit either T or Y, type what you want to say, and it's right there on the screen! In TC2 they want you to purchase freakin Emoji's to describe how you're feeling and texting is an afterthought!
9-Yes 2 months to reach Icon Level 873 and I don't do the LIVE SUMMIT stuff because the one time that I did, the guys with the much higher levels that have all of their category points maxed out, flew by me like I was standing still!
10-I emailed The Ivory Tower, but they didn't respond. So, I emailed them again in French being they are in France and still no reply! I know that they are the game creators, but I would have been happy if the would have sent me an email that just said FUCK OFF! But, nothing is unacceptable.
Well, I don't want to go on forever so I will just say that you made a nice video and ask you what racing game do you actually play now? It has to be better than TC2! :)
Aight buddy the reason that the higher level flew by you is bc they tuned their cars, yes the recalibrating is bad, but it’s worth it, and as for them resetting the leaderboards, with how you’re acting, I doubt you’d get top 50,000

tha npc ai on the street are the WORST part about this game!! They're SOOOO stupid like u clearly see a Multi Million Dollar Supercar driving at like 500mph down the street and they DON'T MOVE AT ALL!! wtf they're sooo bad. The only thing TC2 has better than TC1 is NO PAYED DLC CARS. i fucking HATED TC1 for locking literally EVERY Car Type whether it be Drift, Police, Bikes, Monster Trucks, etc. behind their own $20 DLC. i honestly don't remember TC1 ai but I'm certain TC2 ai is 1000000x WORSE

Well I have a long list of things that annoy me. 1) Too many super and hyper cars. 2) Its name. It has nothing to do with the first game. It feels like we're an actor playing a role in different films. 3) "Illegal" isn't so "illegal" when streets are cut for street races that are supposed to be "illegal". 4) Rally Raid. Too many bumps and jumps that make the car steer out of control easily. Too many obstacles in the way for a race that's supposed to be about choosing your own route... I mean, am I really allowed? I can't even see. 5) Hoovercrafts. 6) Car list. In general. 7) Too many of the same cars. I don't need 50 Shades of Insert Hypercar here. 8) Too many microtransactions. One is one too many for a game we've already paid for. 9) You can't access cars from past summits. So players that got the game later are blocked from content by no fault of their own. 10) Cheats and exploiters everywhere allowed to flourish like a cancer. 11) Performance tunning is incomprehensive. If you're going to use generic terms, explain what they do when you change the parameters. 12) Make those changes actually do something, not just the Aerodynamics - which no, they don't work like that - and the sway bars - which no, they don't work like that either. 13) Motorcycles don't have dedicated events outside Motocross. 14) Motorcycles are not viable. 15) You can't sell cars. 16) Pointless side missions. I don't want to take pictures of bears or my cars in specific situations, much less be forced to have specific cars to complete a mission. 15) Nearly every update after the Midnight Hunt thing has been about scoring points and time trials. 17) There's exactly one good car that came with an update: Nissan ZX Twin Turbo. 18) The type of event you have to unlock it is poorly made. Most times, the map hints aren't clear enough, especially when there are several buildings with the same name within similar areas. 19) The headlights don't work in first person cameras. 20) Useless headlights. 21) The snow obstructs the view of the racing line. 22) This is a mistake in every game that has traffic in races: RANDOM SPAWNING TRAFFIC IN CONRNERS AND BLIND SPOTS. 22) There's an odd bug with a certain GT2 Porsche that is game breaking. The bug is as follows: The car disappears in the menu, which is followed by all the other cars and soon enough, the entire image. 23) Endless grinding for Credits.

The real reason this game is Ass is I exchanged Detroit: Become Human for this terrible shit and had to charge $15 for it and then when I was gonna exchange this ass game for Marvels Spiderman,I had to charge $30 because in our region no one buys this shit and they had to sell it really cheap.

The prices are only outlandish on the starter cars, like 100k for a Foucs, but once you get to hyper and drift then it becomes balanced

I think I have enough experience in this game for a very valid opinion on it, considering I held world records and am lvl 1000+, and I can tell you this. The game is a complete mess. Biggest disappointment that I might have to make my own video on it, which will be much more of a rant.
I’d say you don’t have a “very valid opinion” but hitting lvl 1000 grants you some respect, here’s my advice, tune your cars and look for help, this may be hard, but once you do get there, it’s super fun
@@GDO9099 dont have a valid opinion? I played this game a lot, and I did tune my vehicles, and spent hours and hours getting the correct parts and tunes, to get 28 world records on the game. So yes, I do think my opinion is valid
