At the end of 2017, I bought a strix version of the gtx 950 for 40$. And I have to say, it was the best purchase I've ever made. Thanks, your videos are just awesome. ♥️
Still msi gtx970 gaming oc here, at least until Italy/EU GPU prices drops more. I need the best custom xfx/sapphire rx6700xt to drop at 580€, the same custom rx6800 to 650€. Or any custom with good cooling solutions rtx3080-10gb selling for 750€. So happy you made a video on the legendary 900series!! (almost forgotten cause of the gtx1000)
I never get bored of your videos man , I seriously love your content and I also actually tend to rewatch a hell lot of your older videos coz they are so damn wholesome and entertaining 😂😂 (to me atleast) . Love the fact that you are also very consistent with your content and I hope you reach great milestones in the future and hopefully I will be here to witness your success
Dammm I really love this new concept! It is so enjoyable and refreshing. And also it's very helpful. Because now, people can just watch this cyberpunk video and after 23 minutes. They will know exactly what gpu is good for them, based on the performance and graphics it gets. Would absolutely love to see this more often!
You should definitely make more of these kinds of videos with other GPU families in other games. They're easily the most helpful in helping one determine how much GPU power they need for a game and what they should buy. Although most can view different videos of yours (or that of others) or that, having them all in one video adds a big layer of convenience (also testing the same settings throughout every single GPU to compare performance) that I think will definitely make this series very helpful. You can also try things like "GTX 280 vs GTX 480 vs GTX 580 vs GTX 680..." They take some time but definitely helpful for others.
The 960 2GB was, well, not pointless, but sadly most people bought it instead of the 4GB model. It's weird, because it is well known high res textures are an easy and cheap way to improve the looks of any game and therefore the 960 4GB always was a better option, even in 2015.
They just don't make em like they used to man. The reference design of the 780, 980, and Titan cards was just amazing. The best part was that even custom board partners used that same board design, so basically, all waterblocks, custom heatsinks, etc. All worked for basically everyone's card. The good old days when everyone used the same bolt pattern lol
I think the main reason why older NVIDIA GPUs don't perform very well on CP 2077 is because Async Compute, it's only supported by RTX 20/GTX 16 and above. There's a mod for CP 2077 that allows you to disable tons of things for the game to run better, and a lot of NVIDIA users got a decent performance boost just disabling Async Compute.
I got like +6 fps with it disabled on my 980ti, it's a shame they didn't implement async compute on Maxwell. At least Halo Infinite has a setting for that.
@@pippo_san4511 yes, and Async Compute benfits the GPUs that support it. As I can see, the GTX 980 Ti gets only 50-55 on medium 1080p, while my GTX 1660 Ti gets around 65-70 FPS on the same settings. These GPUs should have a similar performance.
Great content. You could also test the FPS when walking in the middle of a crowd using different crowd density settings. Crowds are both CPU and GPU killers in this game, they put a lot of stress in the GPU especially when you're walking in the middle of a bunch of people. Keep the good content up!
Hey love your videos man really fun and entertaining to watch ❣️🙂keep it up. And brother one thing kindly try to find amd r7 370 2gb card i really want you to make a video on it if you can get it some where
Honestly atm a rx 6600 seems to be a great Deal with even some headrome for the future and it doesn cost that much. And your Power supply cant really handle anything above that, its really low on the watt 😅
@@jatinvirmani7986 get the 6600 without a psu upgrade or a 3060ti with a 650 watt bronce psu. But for 1080p ultra the 6600 is good ebough for now and the next 2 years
That fact that these almost 10 year old cards still manage to run the game without too much trouble is crazy. AMD really brought old cards back with FSR
Had my first run in cyberpunk with the gtx 980. I got used to 30 fps at some point and still enjoyed the game. Played it the second time with a RX 6700 XT from AMD and it was so much better. Still like my GTX 980 because it was the first card I bought myself. Will always have a special place in my heart.
Still remember those days when i completed gta 4 at 720p on 20-25 fps. And still enjoyed. And now a days more worry about pixel pee pee and enjyoing less 😅
i play cp2077 on a 1660ti low settings 3840x1600 50+ fps and it looks amazing and plays very well, i think i put ultraquality fsr, this card never cease to amaze me

First of all: what a perfect, entertaining and informative and helpful video, thanks a lot 🔥😄❤️. Second, could you make some dying ling (1/2) Vids again :). I really enjoyed those haha
Damn the 900 series, what a blast from the past! I had a Gigabyte Extreme 980ti that clocked like a beast that gen! Played everything without issue at 1503 core 2001 mem on that guy, easily outperformed a Titan X!

Great video. It was awesome to see the gaming performance difference on the same series. I'd be interested to see the 600 and 700 series as well. You need to complete your GPU collection right?
Could you please test the GTX 1660 super in a few of the popular and (and sometimes recent) titles? I feel like you didn't make a video on that card for a long time. And it's actually a very nice card! I'm very curious to what it can do nowadays. I might even buy one if I have mony haha :)
I love comparing each level of GPU generation. You have to do Kepler cards including the Maxwell 750 ti and start from the GT 710 up until the GTX 780 ti and the Kepler Titan. I believe they even made a 6 GB model of the 780 ti but I could be wrong. Apparently according to techpowerup it was never released but I swear I’ve seen it before

I love the video concept, can't wait for the next one!
I just finished testing the GTX 1070 today, I found it's less than 5% faster than the 980Ti in Cyberpunk. 60 FPS at 1080 Medium, 48 FPS at 1080 High.
They hold up well in these trying times buddy.
