As someone who does both row crop and cattle, I’ll tell you that the equipment on the cattle side takes more abuse. I wouldn’t think of heading to the field without greasing and checking the combine over everyday, but the tractors I chore with everyday get neglected. I’m a stickler for maintenance, but when you are feeding with it each day in the mud and crap you forget that two of those days are equal to a day of field work and it needs grease. I remember when I’m headed out with bales, but by the time I’ve fought the mud and snow here I’m too tired to remember when I get it back in the shed. This time of year cattle are hard on everything (and me).

20 years ago we screwed up the front end on an M5030SUMDT Kubota. Turned out the grease fitting on the end with the input shaft was not flowing grease. Did not know what was bad till the input shaft hit the cover. Had to build up the differential housing and machine it. That was about 5500 hours. Last I knew it passe 10K. The bushing is definitely an improvement. Anyway - please ask them to turn off the bi-speed

when an outfit has that much gear, its a real handful to know what needs what, when and how to keep every machine properly maintained. Its often a learning experience to know all the quirks of each machine, they all have "habits" and issues to manage. very challenging............

I have watched your channel for a month or so now, have grown to respect and like you. That respect grew even more hearing you shut down commenters who bash your customers. Some people have a tendency to be most vocal about situations they don't know a thing about. It makes them feel superior, when in fact they look like fools to those who know the facts.

Bushings like that are easy to get behind on maintenance. It seems like if you don’t grease them often enough the bushing turns in the housing or plugs the grease way and now you can’t grease it if you want to. Paying customers can be hard to come by and it’s nice to see you stick up for them especially when many of the people criticizing haven’t done a damn thing in their live

Hey I get it.... wish they were here out east would love to work for them as a preventative maintenance manager. Would take care of the abusive employee issue and log all maintenance to equipment.... I never understand how you are lucky enought to be given a job by a man (especially when they are as you describe them) then you take his tools and equipment and treat them like trash. I always treat others equipment better than if were my own... mind you I take care of my personal tool and equipment like none other.

Just gotta show them the old parts and explain to them how a tube of grease is alot cheaper than the parts and labor you're putting in now. A little maintenance goes a long way. Great videos it's good to see how different manufacturers engineer and design some things. Sometimes it makes you scratch your head. Just goes to show that the guys who design the stuff aren't the ones who have to take it apart and work on it.

Right on all the way. The hard working folks that keep our country running deserve respect. I don't understand people who jump to desparage someone they don't know, Life is hard enough without trying to make it harder for someone who might just as well be your friend if you gave them the chance. We're all in this together, we need to give each other a break when we can.
People like your negative commenter and the guy at your job site are best avoided, they're not worth your time.

Loved the story to start with!!! that was great. It always amused me how some people feel so sad about themselves they like attacking others you see it all the time on RUclips comments and it is a sad way society as a rule is going. I am not happy about myself so noone else is allowed to be as well mentality. For a start how can you ever comment about someone if you do not know them in person and for more than a month? If have never meet them ( and by the way reading about them or hearing their name does not constitute knowing them as much as a surprise that might be to you! ) then the moron is not them it is you for even suggesting that to start with. Facebook, RUclips and many other social media outlets know they have issues, yet they seem to refuse to do something about it. The only way it will stop is if we the readers and you Warren as the channel owner call out these type of people. Then and only then it may stop ( yes I know, that is wishful thinking.... sigh ) Until Governments and police forces the world over start taking action ( and I mean tough and decisive action not just words ) against these so called haters... it will keep happening sadly.... Thank you Warren for calling that person out and thank you for another great video :)

Sorry to hear about the jerk in the store. I went to a shop to fix a machine and the guy kept yelling and bitching. This guy was out of control and he threw something in the area I was working in. He said it never worked since the last time my son fixed it. I looked in quickbooks and my son was there 8 months prior to me showing up. So he wanted a free service. I listened until he said that the little asshole that came out here didn’t know anything. Thankfully the mechanics and the guys wife told the cops he got what he deserved. He wanted me to pay for the ambulance and the stitches. I told him not to ever call me again, unless he wanted more..There’s a lot of things I can fix, stupid isn’t one of them. Thanks for the video.
