Today I tried Morbid Angel's "Where The Slime Live" because I can pretty comfortably do 160, but I want to work on my 170bpm, and it is a pretty great song for working on it, because I can do the first half until the middle of the song with the long double kick section that drains a lot of the stamina, and honestly after a full session of playing that and a bunch of other songs from Autopsy and such Death Metal my legs definitely feel worked out, but it's in a very good way, I don't feel pain, I feel good.
I’ll tell you another good song to practice that tempo range and stamina is “we hate everyone” by type o negative. The chorus has a good double bass at about 170 bpm and the interlude is around 140.
@@Nmdixon-cu7vm That must be one of their faster diddles, I haven't heard it in a while, because I take a long time to cycle through all the artists I know haha.
