Learning the solo for my band, the tuning on the recording is making me nuts!!! But I just played it with the band,my 12 string guitar player in standard and wow, I killed, loved that solo , I get to play it every gig, super stoked!!
For those who want to play along with the original, just tune your 4th string down to match the D chord in the intro and then the other strings to the 4th. Still sounds great on a 6-string too. Also, happens to be basically same pitch as Zep's Battle of Evermore if you know that one. [Great lesson as always!]

that's your first 12-string Carl? they could be kind of high-maintenance a lot of times if it is always want to make sure when you put her away lot of people do a lot of different things compared to a standard acoustic guitar... got a really nice sound to which model Faith was it I was looking at their website it's like a guild 12-string is $3,400 of UK Faith is.. a little bit less LOL. about the only 12 I've seen that kind of comes close in a budget range are the tailor basic 12 strings without all the glitz and bling
