So many great songs throughout the decades. How can anyone pick just one song or group. Except the music of today. Real loud hardrock,or rap they kind of suck. You can not understand what they are singing about. And it hurts your ears.
Didn't know that in early years the Bee Gees consisted of more than just the three brothers. Happenings' I Got Rhythm is one of my favorites--great arrangement and harmony. Pretty Ballerina--Michael Brown's music writing amazing and his father's orchestration and arrangement just genius.
Sonny, I hope you have as much fun as we do, listening to the many memories! Thank you for all your time and energy producing these fantastic collections
I've gotten to this segment. Wonderful songs, wonderful memories, even enjoy singing along with each song. Thank you Sonny for posting these wonderful songs 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
In 1967 I was 14 years old, in high school, working as a busboy and had my own car and a girlfriend. I was anxious to experience everything, those were good times.
Being 16 and 17 years old in '67, I remember listening to all of these songs -- countless times! But especially, "The Letter", "Friday On My Mind" and both the single & orig. album versions of, "Light My Fire"!! Jose Feliciano's lovely take on the latter is also a gem.
Beautiful songs listed here. Love them all . They bring back memories of my youth. I can go back to that era where these music was and will be one of the most amazing ever. Thank you so very much Sonny.😊😊😊
65,66,67 I went to Buffalo State College. I was cleft palette and summers were speach school. I was 10 in 65. It was a blessing as well as great memories A fascinating time in my life living on a college campus in those times. the music was best and brings back such memories
The BIG 8 CKLW would play either the single or the album version of Light My Fire on their station. You never knew what version you would hear . It was fun waiting to hear it. I guess if the DJ would need to use the bathroom he would play the album version.
Another great selection, Sonny! I know all of these songs and have all, except "Pretty Ballerina." Also, I went to concerts by the Doors (they were not very good live) and the Bee Gees (although much later).😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
There's some really great songs on this list! There used to be a little laundromat in the small town I grew up in. After I finished my paper route,I'd stop in there, they had a jukebox & a pinball like of game. Except it had a rifle that you shot objects that popped up. I always played the same song, Come On Down To My Boat, while play the shooting game! I've thought about those days, but couldn't remember how old I was. Now I know, since this came out in 1967 I was 14!❤
@@sonnysoldies5288 Thank you for giving us the songs, that bring back so many memories of my youth! So many things I haven't thought of for decades, until certain songs jog my memory. 50 years of Hip Hop and Rap...who really cares? Most of the singers nowadays can't sing...they just talk and become millionaires.@@OldiesMomma
Pretty Ballerina is my favorite
1967...12 years old, eighth grade. Neat! Thanks!
Yeah! Alright! Still so fresh to hear that thing, after so many years has gone by..! ❤😂

A great year for music! We had to listen to an underground FM station to hear the long version of Light My Fire.
I remember listening to "Society's Child" only on FM because of the content...look what the censors allow nowadays, unbelievable.
