- A Mister Christmas Merry-Go-Round Carousel that will not rotate. Some Dremel action and hot glue and it is as good as new! According the the box (which the customer still has) it was new in 1994.

I have the exact same carousel. I believe it came out mid 1990s.
Mine still works fine except is getting a little stiff warming up every Christmas. I still have the box and instructions too!

This was fun to watch. I was surprised in using hot glue. But your experience pays off again. How's your daughters family? I hope they are recovering comfortably. And I know bruises and breaks are not fun but hopefully they will mend and get back to a normal life again.

Supposedly it works great. I've never tried it though
The Mr. Christmas brand/label I believe was sold by either Christmas Tree Store or Big Lots. I've seen this
brand before!!
Fancy. Simple and it looks almost as good as the real thing. Too bad about the plastic gears. Looks like they wanted the unit to last, since they had brass bushings.

What would you put on a mode switch on an ice maker, I cleaned and put a light oil, being 0F degrees dielectric wouldn't work.
When did I mention an ice maker? I did mention a "mode select switch" in a VCR.

13.8 Volts smoke test for sure!
Remember the test voltage is a totally unloaded load. The actual rated voltage is at the rated load of the AC adaptor. It is not a switching power supply, but an old iron core non regulated transformer.
8 volts hahaha, lets sell some adapters.
