Good comparison. I tend to wear BDC at work...gets wafts of it throughout the day. I also get frequent compliments. I avoided sport extreme for as long as possible, but finally caved in earlier this year. It's a masterpiece, imo...so beautifully blended. I find that the sillage in the first few hours is very strong. The dry down is so good, though...so smooth. Extreme has a "come and get me" vibe about it.
Yeah that’s right. BDC is very versatile but perhaps not that interesting. I feel AHSEE is much more enjoyable as it smells so unique, classy and expensive. I love it!

I have both but I prefer Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme
Great review as always. I got both as 150 ml bottles. I use BDC mostly as an office and casual fragrance, AHSEE more as something which advertises me, plus when I long for a creamy strong yet soft scent.
It's hard to make a natural fragrance like Chanel does that performs good.

I think the issue from personal experience with allure extreme is it needs a few months after spraying to mature then the performance goes up
BDC EDP is my pick, but Im actually selling my back up bottle to try something more daring
Very good review I agree with you. To me both are nice and totally different from each other. However the longevity isn’t that great. I love Chanel Allure Edition Blanche!

Im about to buy into chanel or dior for the first time and need a new summer scent.
I keep hearing bdc edt and allure homme. Ive also looked at dior cologne and allure homme edition blanch.
Do these get cloying in high heat? My go to summer hot day scents last year seemed to be versace man eau fraiche, versace pour homme, D&G light blue intense.
You are safe with Dior Cologne! Perfect for summer. Mercedes Benz makes a perfect clone of it, also.
Thinking of which to get, Eros flame or eau extreme.
They are very different fragrances so I’d recommend trying both first

Imo BDC is quite unique in its quality and it’s probably hard to clone

AHSEE is a better fragrance but YSL Y EDP will give you better performance

I’m Wondering about BDC EDP performance. I’m relatively new to the frag game, so not sure if my expectations are realistic. I find I’m getting maybe 2 hours projection, and then basically turns into a skin scent… however, it does last on my skin a solid 8-10 hours.. but I have to put my nose right up to it to detect it. Sorry for the newbie question… but is this considered good performance for a blue, and is this what is expected from BDC EDP?
That’s average when people say how long it lasts most fragrances dry down to a skin scent pretty quickly if you want more performance you can layer with molecule 01 (or iso e super)
How about layering AHSEE with ISO-E Super and Ambroxan for improvements in both longevity and sillage?
