I just got my 16 Extractions since I was 8yrs old (the last time I saw a dentist!)
at $0 cost, that's all I had left.
    I'm a 53yr male in TX
    & I haven't smiled since I was 8 years old!
    (Without covering my mouth)
I'm healing now & will go in for permanent dentures impressions next month Feb 20th.
I wish I could get implants but he said that I didn't have enough bone up top. I've been told my bottoms wouldn't fit right by 2 different Dentist.
I got plenty of bone on bottom but my insurance doesn't cover implants, like they told me they did! I live off SSI/DI. So maybe for 2025 I'll sign up for a different advantage plan that covers snap in's.
However, I'm curious what types of dentures are made?
Like, bottom level, med or top tier dentures? Or is there just a 1 acrylic set? I can't find any info on different types of dentures, besides implants or partials.
My insurance said they'll pay for whatever dentures my Dentist has made or sends off to a lab.
    I just pay a $575 deductible.
