What does that even mean? He was a real cop. He was a real person too. Sounds like you have a fictional perception of the Police in the US. By your logic, if a cop does something bad, then you compartmentalize it and disassociate the two. Are you a cop? Are you related to or friends with a cop(s)? That would explain the unrealistic bias. The truth is Mr Borg, Blue Bloods aka: The police are the very definition of organized Crime. They put people in jail and destroy their lives on a pick and choose basis. They arrest people for drinking and driving, or for drugs and they themselves go to their local Blue Blood bars, and drive home drunk without any problems, and they sleep sound at night, without a guilty conscience, but yeah, this guy "wasn't a real cop" smmfh.
The US police force is militarized, and that disgusting.
If I'm ever in need of help, I'd rather deal with it myself than take the chances of the piggery showing up and making it worse. That's all cops do these days is make things worse. A betting man would take the chances without getting fiveO involved in this day in age.

Broken families are so hard on the father. Please get help if you are having trouble coping. This man did not and now his son (and probably another child since he killed his ex outside a school, unless she was a teacher) will be raised by a relative or the state. He hurt his children for every holiday and birthday, neither parent. Every event. Feeling unloved. Absolutely heartbreaking.
