Sirmel11 only marth and Ike have appeared as protagonists in more than 1 game and it doesn't make sense to remake every game. Especially anything after Fe 5. Fe 1 and Fe3 got their remakes on the DS. Fe 2 was gaiden and has been remade into echoes. Fe4 and Fe5 are left and those games are fantastic. Fe4, genealogy of the holy war, has a dark, compelling storyline while fe 5, Thracia 776, has solid gameplay to make up for its lack of a great story. Fe5 is also my fav Fe game as I am more of a gameplay over story guy when it comes to tactics or strategy games as a whole.
I imagine if the series remains popular, nintendo intends to switch between remakes and new games. New games will focus more on the new audience with a bit for older fans, with children and avatars. While the echoes games will just push through the franchise and remaster them for the old fans, and new fans who can appreciate both styles. I imagine they'd go up through ike's games though. I'm just sad they probably won't do marth's games, but a man can dream.
playing fire emblem since 2003 when no one in the states cared about. it is pretty awesome to see intelligent systems continuing to develop this HUGE series. few games are THIS satisfying to complete. if you dig fire emblem, definitely pick this up to show IS and nintendo some love so they can continue releasing great fire emblem titles in the west
I know that FE is awesome, I love it too, but 3DS has one of the best, if not the best, libraries of any console ever especially since it's fully backward compatible with DS's huge library too! Awesome stuff!!
This game isn't perfect (retains some of Gaiden's questionable map design), but it's a damn good remake. Voice acting was such a good move, the localization is spot on. Hoping we get another Echoes entry (preferably Genealogy, but Binding Blade could be really cool too)
Great. Now, PLEASE Nintendo, I beg of you: remake FE 4&5 in one single package! Those two games combined make up for pretty much the entirety of the Game of Thrones plot.
SamHetfield Productions that would be great, but it would be tough to do. 4's got huuuuge maps, to the point where it's a problem, and a bit of incest is thrown in there too. 5 would have to be reworked a bit too due to how unfair some of it is.
Just add water Exactly. Game of Thrones. Incests and all. Personally, I like the big maps. They make sense to the storytelling (since we are literally crossing a continent), are beautifully designed (except maybe chapter 4; that goddamn snow and forest) and the introduction of the ranked system of turns, level gained and survivability that unfortunately didn't last after The Sacred Stones. Map optimization was a real thing, and it made the game so much more intricate. Oh, and don't even get me started on the heritage thing. People who say that Ike is the most OP character in the franchise has definitely never crossed paths with a F-L Sety.
I'm 40 hours in, and this game is fantastic. I've only been playing since FE6 but this has been my favourite Fire Emblem, especially after Fates disappointed me. I hope the sale goes well so a lot of the Gaiden/Echoes mechanics make it into the Switch Fire Emblem. So far my favourite changes (among many others) are the weapons/magic system, and skills/spells that cost HP to use (as opposed to % activated skills). Loving the archer range too. I honestly don't miss the weapon triangle or the pair-up mechanics but I do expect them to return in the Switch FE. Feel free to ask if you have any questions about the game.
Better than Fates for sure, but that's more because a lot of the Fates characters are one-note anime tropes. Most characters only have 2 support partners they can have conversations with (though they have more characters they can get support bonus from without needing to talk to), with some have 3 and some only 1. One thing I don't like is that support conversations still take place mid-battle though which spoils the immersion for me. The game has a world map and it would have been fine to allow supports there.
I am currently on act 3 and I really like the story so far. characters are strong. I feel like gameplay is like the gba fire emblems including growths and supports. I'm also kinda happy there isn't a weapon triangle because I feel like it would be way too easy with one in it. it just feels like a damn good game so far. I love the dungeon crawler element. Cut scenes are amazing and the voice acting the whole game is pretty on point to me. again, I love it. better than fates
Fates was a great game.the daiting sim brought something unique to the series.people that hate are probably fan boys of the original games that are angry the newer games aren't like the older ones which is stupid.
this game reminds me of when quality matters reach character feels alive and they matter even the villains have motives dreams desires wishes its makes it all very human and I miss this level of writing. its rare nowadays they did this in awakening very well not as well as this but fares didn't come close
definitely gonna be an awesome game for old time FE fans. its very much like the older GBA fire emblems like blazing sword or sacred stones. excited to play this game in a couple days!
i start off with awakening and im not disappointed at Fire Emblem Echoes SoV. i enjoyed playing it without the whole pairing up or marriage and weapon triangle. is somewhat of a challenge for me since i never played this type of game of fire emblem but i love it lol
Something about Fire Emblem and Sacred Stones (the NA GBA games) are so classic to me, none of these new additions compare. Granted, in the wake of disappointments like Awakening and Birthright, Shadows of Valentia has been pleasing the hell out of me so far. I even got angry a few times at the difficulty spikes, which reminded me of the GBA games! Great review. Side bar: Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn were good, too.
i will be honest, this is the first FE game i will ever play, and true story, i pre-ordered because the GS employee showed me the art print you get when you preorder, and i decided i wanted it.
Welcoa variety of units, to the glory of fire emblem, where you can have various units fight for you, young or old, weak or strong, of course, this is coupled with occasional nods to incest.... huh. don't read this,
UntitledGameShow Echoes is a remake tho, so there will be differences since some of the features of the newer games didn't exist back then! In my opinion, it's an enjoyable and replay-worthy game.
This is the problem with reviews today. People hyper focus on the arbitrary score at the end and don't pay attention to the meat of the review. It's important to take into consideration why the reviewer gave it the score, because things he liked about the game might not be things you'll enjoy, and criticisms the reviewer has might not be things that bother you. If you're smart, you read / listen to the review and compare it to your own personal preferences to see if you'll like the game. But most people aren't and only care about the score.
Abbey McNeill If you like this one, then you ought to go back and try some of the older ones. Try out fire emblem 7, Path of Radiance, and Sacred Stones. 3 of the best in the series.
I started playing FE in 2007 and i like echoes a lot despite some annoying flaws such as the (very) bad RNG, some annoying and/or uninspired maps and difficulty spikes. Completed it 3 times
Reading all of the comments with everyone getting so upset about the IGN reviewer taking off points for no "waifu simulator" I thought there was no support system at all. I could care less if I have my own character to pair off, but I've always really enjoyed the support system since I played FE7 on GBA. Since this is a remake of an older game than the oldest FE I've played I thought maybe it wasn't there ;;
TBH my main complaint is the lack of supports between the other units since I want to learn more about them since tHEY ARENT FANSERVICE CHARACTERS OR HAVE 0 PERSONALITY LIKE SOME IF THE OTHER CHARACTERS FROM FATES I KNOW. Even Berkut, one of the new editions as a villain is a better character then most, if not all of the fates cast. But oh well, with what little supports they have the characters and personalities still shine through beautifully.
so i can pick this up next month then Good Was a little worried about it, honestly the dungeon crawling things throw me off a bit but i think i can get use to it
Okay I know I`m late for this because I just recently got a 2DS last christmas but I totally want to get more into this series now. (only just playing FE: Heroes for now) Should I get this (though I`m concerned about the lack of the weapon triangle) or should I get Awakening or Fates?
Tron Sparks in my opinion, I'd start with an older title if you fell like you'll really dive into the series. FE 7 on gba is a great start. If you have to start with one of these three though, it should be Echoes or Awakening. They are very different. Look at some gameplay/review of both and decide which style you prefer. Don't start with Fates. Just.. don't. Lol. Hope this helps! Feel free to ask me any questions :)
I became accustomed to the lack of weapon triangle pretty quickly, and I play Heroes frequently. Maybe it's because I'm playing on Hard/Classic so I have to or else I'm screwed xD
Awakening in new commer mode had algorithms that made standar miss attacks, criticals, stat growhts at lv up etc, if you do the same exact moves again as the last time when you reload the game, does this game have the same mechanic with Mila’s Turnwheel?
I'm rather disappointed that this'll be the last FE game for the 3ds. I still think they could do a good amount of work with the platform. Though I am very much looking forward to the Switch Emblem, and the future installments, I still remember the train wrecks that were the last two console games, Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, and I hope that IS manages to get it right again, like they did with their older FE titles (like Genealogy, Thracia, etc.).
Based on this review, save for the rewind gear, a lot of the new "additions" in this new game (in quotes because they're from an older game) are inconvenient and difficult to like. I mean, spells costing hp, or characters only being able to carry one item, while adding "new layers of strategy" also feel like they are going to be frustrating more often than not as compared to other recent FE games. Thoughts on this anyone?
I love this game but for some reason I have massive frame rate drops whenever the spells Miasma and Death are used. Like it feels like it goes from 60 to 15 or even less for like 3 seconds at most. There's no record of this anywhere on the internet and Nintendo's customer support had never heard it either. What's strange is that I play on a New 3DS XL while my friend plays on a 2DS and he never has frame rate drops. And what's even stranger is that I can play Xenoblade Chronicles, a much more demanding title and have no problems. Help.
Fire Emblem Echoes is a good game its story is actually pretty decent in its lore between characters especially alm and celica ill say its better than fire emblem awakening my only issue is its cutscenes it looks like berserk 2016 which wasn't great for its CGI its maps design is awakening until later in the game which makes awakening look sad because it never recovered from its shit map design the great thing is that echoes gives a great deal of repeatability compared to gaidem characters can reclass with an item called the villagers fork its a great game even as a budgeted product from intsys
I feel like they should have mentioned this. People have come to expect that classes are always there and a lot of people disliked Fates for not having weapon durability. Also, do you know if characters have unique personal skills like in Fates? I actually really like that. Just makes every character a little different and give them more character.
Classes are still there. In fact Gaiden, the game that Echoes is a remake of, was the first in the series to introduce the promotion system. The reason it's lacking durability is those early games didn't have a durability system, so in a way Fates was going back to its origins by doing away with durability. And no, like i said, skill sets are attached to weapons in this one, just another quirk that Gaiden had that the other games didn't. I think Nintendo is testing the waters and seeing if people will buy an old style FE game. If they do, i can only assume that they'll double down on Fire Emblem releases, with one line following the new mechanics, and the other line going back to the series' routes like Echoes does. I actually hope this happens, because I do enjoy the new style support systems, but i want old school FE to get more love too.
LMAO I forgot Gaiden actually invented classes. Thanks for answering my questions man and I gotta agree, I want more old FE games to be remade. Genealogy of the Holy War with Thracia 776 DLC please.
No more character shipping and time travel children ? Thank fucking god. Was worried the series had gone off the deep-end for good after Fates. Too bad the awful NA localisation team probably still handled the translation though.
8-4 handled it and I've actually been hearing good things about the localization. The dub voice work seems pretty solid too, though we're lacking a JP audio option for those who want it. Also the english version of the vocal track in the credits is actually rather good compared to Fate's.
On the other hand the audio is a bit weird for the voices at least in videos. It sounds similar in quality to DQVIII which was recorded a long time ago.
Right. It's quite hard to keep her alive by distracting the archers while killing Desaix as soon as possible. I had to equip Alm with Lightning sword to deny his insane def.
Wolfchild 727 Why? It's a spinoff that crosses Fire Emblem characters with Persona gameplay and setting. Stop getting so offended by it's actually a competently made game with unique decisions.
**spoiler** There's a certain place that allows you to revive dead characters for a very limited number of times. Also if either protagonist dies it's instant game over anyway.
until you see the dlc and realize the neutered the exp and coins to make a quick buck but, also endgame exp was severly lacking and dungeons become maze like duma tower and alter of duma specifically. a lot of these reviews sound like they are only talking about the first half of the game and not the full game
I wasn't really feeling hype for this game. I think I felt burnt out after slogging through 100 hours of fates. It seemed like they were trying to top awakening by doing everything 3x. Too many characters made relationship forming more arduous. Adding twice as many elements to a classic, simple weapons triangle that wasn't broken to begin with. Punishing the player for using more powerful weapons by reducing stats instead of using the degradable weapon system. In the end gates really missed the mark for me, but this review has me very strongly considering giving this game a shot if they really nailed the game mechanics, i'd love to see more remakes in this gameplay style. Possibly on the switch??
Echoes could have easily been one of the better Fe games if only it had taken a different turn with the combat, despite the fact Echoes did do a better job with voice acting, imo fates was much better
Agreed. I have plenty of issues with Echoes, but combat is one of the biggest deal breakers. There's just no excuse for how dull it felt unless it was just a port/remaster. But it's not. It's a remake.
Barro it's for aesthetic purposes, they used 3d models in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, but the battles are far more long, with the 2d are also more quick when playing without animations.
Airforce Gamer Because it's a remake. Gaiden with Pair Up? No thanks. Pair Up can make map design flawed. With Pair Up you can constantly transfer units and get then across a map in 1 turn. Without Pair Up, unit placement is much more important.
3DS is a beast and Fire Emblem is mandatory for any rpg fan.
Japan has the best games I think you mean "every Shin Megami Tensei game."
Yeeeeeah, every Shin Megami Tensei is amazing, but the SMT Persona series specially is mandatory as well!
Spoken like a champion
Mainline > Purrrsona my friend
Just got a 2DSxl and lovin this game
Great review guys. I just hope that this game sells well so that I can receive my genealogy and thracia remakes.
i hope all the games are remade tbh
but grouping them together would be best
all of marth's games
all of ike's games
all of roy's games and all that.

I'm just sad they probably won't do marth's games, but a man can dream.
Naman Gupta They would probably remake FE6 tho
Beaver-Boy Now that I think about it yes they would. I forgot Fe 6 was never localized.
Can't wait! So much hype. I hope America knocks it out of the park in terms of sales so we can continue to see more games and future remakes!
Don't worry, we got it covered. I have 3 copies on order- just doing my part ;)
Love your videos man keep up the good work 👍!!!
I bought my copy! I can't wait, it looks very RPG heavy for a strategy game.
Way better than IGN's joke of a review.
IGN is consistently shit all the time
+Noktis “Badass Nickname” Zariah
are you always redundantly redundant all the time?
@sayem
The funny thing is, IGN's review actually expressed disappointment over the lack of 'dating sim' features. :I
// S O F T S O U N D // Because I don't waste time correcting mistakes like this when everyone already knows what I meant.
Why because it didn't have whatever score you wanted?
Thanks for not being IGN.
playing fire emblem since 2003 when no one in the states cared about. it is pretty awesome to see intelligent systems continuing to develop this HUGE series. few games are THIS satisfying to complete. if you dig fire emblem, definitely pick this up to show IS and nintendo some love so they can continue releasing great fire emblem titles in the west
no jugdral. Its a boring slog at best. Well, FE4 is a slog. FE5 is a masterpiece.
This game looks fun. Should I try it out?
No :^)
Mangs No, it's awful, and you should play the superior game, Fates.
Nah, we know you'll develop a sexual relationship with Echoes, Mangs.
Mangs No you should play BS emblem
Mangs yea
Mangs, it doesn't hold to the awakenings FUCKING MILA TREE
the only reason i have a 3ds is for fire emblem
kazuma and cumy cumy in mi tummy is very good too
Yup, same lol.
I know that FE is awesome, I love it too, but 3DS has one of the best, if not the best, libraries of any console ever especially since it's fully backward compatible with DS's huge library too! Awesome stuff!!
There are 3 specific groups of people who own a 3DS only for FE, or only for Pokémon, or only for Monster Hunter.
You should get Shin Megami Tensei IV and Devil Survivor Overclocked broiskie
This game isn't perfect (retains some of Gaiden's questionable map design), but it's a damn good remake. Voice acting was such a good move, the localization is spot on.
Hoping we get another Echoes entry (preferably Genealogy, but Binding Blade could be really cool too)
*Oprah voice* "EVERYBODY GETS 9's!!! you get a 9, and you get a 9, and you get a 9!"
The full voice acting and better writing actually makes me like these characters's relations more interesting and believable than the waifu wars games
it's funny seeing all the "it's not a waifu simulator so it's a step back" reviews, like that's what determines a good 3ds fire emblem
*cough* IGN *cough*
scratchitz people forget that it's originally a tactics game and not an otome/waifu simulator with tactics on the side.
Great. Now, PLEASE Nintendo, I beg of you: remake FE 4&5 in one single package! Those two games combined make up for pretty much the entirety of the Game of Thrones plot.

Oh, and don't even get me started on the heritage thing. People who say that Ike is the most OP character in the franchise has definitely never crossed paths with a F-L Sety.
Pretty sure most veterans wouldn't expect relationships in the first place from a remake of Gaiden.
"It puts combat front and center" Oh god I have been waiting to hear that for so long

I'm so upset this is not coming to switch game looks so good
starraters we get a new one 9n the Switch next year, but yea I get you
starraters FE 16 is a thing you know, it'll be on the Switch. This is a smaller game in a sense.
yes but this is the last 3DS Fire Emblem, we're getting a brand spanking new game next year for the Switch
why should it come to the switch? that makes no sense
PikaPlayzHD last FE om 3ds? guess I have to buy a switch for the next installments :/
this game reminds me of when quality matters reach character feels alive and they matter even the villains have motives dreams desires wishes its makes it all very human and I miss this level of writing.

7.8 no waifu/husbando mix: IGN.

shawn zylla congrats! Welcome to the world of Fire Emblem!
shawn zylla I welcome you to this beautiful world, I hope you like the tactical medieval warfare.
Welcoa variety of units, to the glory of fire emblem, where you can have various units fight for you, young or old, weak or strong, of course, this is coupled with occasional nods to incest.... huh.
don't read this,
ive played a little bit of it already. it is truly super fun. it may be my new fav. game on the 3DS.
lot changes from enjoy from recent games. Sounds like a enjoyable story focus game tho. Still might wait few months on this one.
UntitledGameShow Echoes is a remake tho, so there will be differences since some of the features of the newer games didn't exist back then! In my opinion, it's an enjoyable and replay-worthy game.

Managed to get a copy early and damn it's really fun. I was worried I wouldn't like it because I am a fan of the newer ones but nope. It's good still!
And the C-Stick support is just great.
Abbey McNeill If you like this one, then you ought to go back and try some of the older ones. Try out fire emblem 7, Path of Radiance, and Sacred Stones. 3 of the best in the series.
As someone who preferred the GBA games over the relationship additions in the 3DS games, this has me really excited to like Fire Emblem again.
Simon May Except this this nothing like the old games. That was stated multiple times in the review.
why is Alm's walk cycle as a kid so goofy?
I've been playing the shit out of this for the past couple of days. Good solid game and a huge love letter to old school Fire Emblem.
Love how even though Switch is taking centre stage, the 3DS is still getting a bit of love.
Way better than IGN's review. This is a remake so why would it have dating simulation anyway? This game will be loved by classic FE players
I started playing FE in 2007 and i like echoes a lot despite some annoying flaws such as the (very) bad RNG, some annoying and/or uninspired maps and difficulty spikes. Completed it 3 times
Holy shit a 9!
i like this change up.
sadly im still burnt out on fire emblem because of wayyyy to much time playing FE heroes. I'll give it a try when/if my fatigue for the series passes.
immanks 102 take the rest, in Valentia you will need it!
This is a different breed of fire emblem man it feels similar but alot different

Jane Molina there are supports
so i can pick this up next month then
Good
Was a little worried about it, honestly the dungeon crawling things throw me off a bit but i think i can get use to it
Rip, no mention of the amazing music.
looking foward to playing the game, I hadn't had a decent challenge in a while
Game looks great but no lie, I'm gonna miss the waifu hunting.
Whose here after playing Three Houses?
It kinda Triggers me that You speed up the combat animations :/

Tron Sparks all
i really love playing this game, mucho better than fates in my opinion!! the voice acting is surprisingly good also!
I became accustomed to the lack of weapon triangle pretty quickly, and I play Heroes frequently. Maybe it's because I'm playing on Hard/Classic so I have to or else I'm screwed xD
No more awkward dating. Thank god
I hope FE8 will get a remake too.
Am just happy my wallet isn't fucked in 3 ways like Fates did.
John Shepard me too

FIRE EMBLEM NEVER DISSAPOINTS!
I got fire emblem echoes ad for a fire emblem echoes review... noice
When I get a Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia ad on a review of Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.
welp echoes I'll see you on Friday.
Finally a good review

it's almost like they're trying to be faithful to the game they're remaking...
vbarreiro no
Agree on 9 thats a fair review
what is the name of the soundtrack that plays during the video?
7/10 game not enough waifus or dual strikes.
great review but the lack of interpersonal dialog isn't new. if anything this goes back to the real formula for fire emblem
Tomorrow is the day
Thank you for this! IGN review is boring and corny..
summary to my comment is that its a great game to give to a console close to death
0:35 seconds into this review and it was already better than IGN's.
I plan on playing through on Casual Mode Should I counterbalance this by playing on Hard?
Never bought a 3DS. Still hoping for Bravely Default and Fire Emblem ports to Switch
A Bravely collection would be awesome. It would look fantastic with some touchups and HD visuals.
Help.
That score is correct, Echoes is a fantastic remake of one of my favourite FE games and it definitely deserves the love.
Prince Kazuya feeling calmed and serene... after that shitshow ing put on its channel I can't believe that I'm watching a gamespot video again.
wait what? My shitposts? Uh I'm never calm.
He was going to say IGN but he typo'd it as IN
Fire Emblem Echoes is a good game its story is actually pretty decent in its lore between characters especially alm and celica ill say its better than fire emblem awakening my only issue is its cutscenes it looks like berserk 2016 which wasn't great for its CGI its maps design is awakening until later in the game which makes awakening look sad because it never recovered from its shit map design the great thing is that echoes gives a great deal of repeatability compared to gaidem characters can reclass with an item called the villagers fork its a great game even as a budgeted product from intsys
Better than ign review of the game
I guess I'll have to hold my nose and play it on my 3DS. Why couldn't they just bring this to Switch?
I'm just glad you guys didn't call it "shades of valentia".
Great review nonetheless.
This review is WAAAAAAAAAY better than IGN's review
If you use a staff to heal a unit you will lose HP like when you use magic spells?
We will take our vengeance WAIFU EMBLEM!!!
what about the story? how much power do you have in interacting with the world
Askr the Horny story is pretty solid
Hold on, they never mentioned the classes and weapon durability. I'm just gonna assume that, like gaiden, classes and durability don't exist right?
Yep, weapons are handled by an item system, and you gain skills by using them. The skills are attached to the weapon, and they can't be broken.
Just saying skills weren't attached to items in the original Gaiden, that's completely new, although they function similarly to magic in the original.
No more character shipping and time travel children ? Thank fucking god. Was worried the series had gone off the deep-end for good after Fates. Too bad the awful NA localisation team probably still handled the translation though.
Inversed "probably still handled" so basically you don't know what yoy are bitching about? Typical Internet user.
Inversed Nope. The Treehouse didnt touch Echoes
Trainer Hilda It always warms my heart to see people who make sense on the internet.
A shame they don't let us choose lunatic difficulty on the first playthrough. Hard in this game feels too easy to me.
H N Q there is a pretty big difficulty spike mid way
The hardest one I've played as of yet is the siege of Desaix Fortress, but that still felt like nothing compared to Awakening or Conquest.
thats the one with mathilda right?
Right. It's quite hard to keep her alive by distracting the archers while killing Desaix as soon as possible. I had to equip Alm with Lightning sword to deny his insane def.
Alm sounds like Jaune Arc from RWBY
2:18 "While explorable dungeons are unique to echoes"
Was Tokyo Mirage Sessions *that* forgettable?
Andrew Smith we don't talk about that game
Wolfchild 727 Why? It's a spinoff that crosses Fire Emblem characters with Persona gameplay and setting. Stop getting so offended by it's actually a competently made game with unique decisions.
Master Tactician G-CON
It ain't a fire emblem game though. It plays 100% differently but only features characters from the FE series very loosely.
It's more like a Persona game than anything.
that's a persona/smt game, not fe.
no, having a few archanea chars doesn't make it an fe game.
what about the permadeath? Will it affect the character story building??
ANTI SALAM-SALAMAN CLUB no
**spoiler**
There's a certain place that allows you to revive dead characters for a very limited number of times. Also if either protagonist dies it's instant game over anyway.
ANTI SALAM-SALAMAN CLUB on classic mode they stay dead but there is extremely rare cases where you can revive one or two
#JustPlayGaidenBro
Loru Fangs for what reason tho, be honest
it's not even released in America.
Does anyone know what the amiibo do?
until you see the dlc and realize the neutered the exp and coins to make a quick buck but, also endgame exp was severly lacking and dungeons become maze like duma tower and alter of duma specifically. a lot of these reviews sound like they are only talking about the first half of the game and not the full game
Possibly on the switch??
just one thing, Does it have good music?
Silas D my ears are having an orgasm as we speak
ok sounds good
When you get an add for echoes before the video...
great game some reviews are nuts giving this game just a 6 no fucking way its full voice acted only quest givers dont talk
Better than IGN review lol
Nice a 9!
There are 3D models in free-roam mode, why use these simplified 2D static models in tactical mode?
Barro it's for aesthetic purposes, they used 3d models in Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn, but the battles are far more long, with the 2d are also more quick when playing without animations.
Damn this game has more voice acting than ni no kuni 2
"Is this remake worth revisiting, or is it better left in the past?"
I don't know. Was the original released outside of japan? Preety sure it wasn't.
much better than fates, its a shame this game is getting shit because of its return to its original format
HOW DID YOU GET IT
Roronoa Zoro Review copy
Since it's a remake, why couldn't they have added fates battle system to it?
Airforce Gamer Because it's a remake. Gaiden with Pair Up? No thanks. Pair Up can make map design flawed. With Pair Up you can constantly transfer units and get then across a map in 1 turn. Without Pair Up, unit placement is much more important.
Airforce Gamer with pair up you only needed to put to op units together and throw them on enemy lines, sit back and watch the carnage.
Saul Reyes I thought the idea was cool if you didn't abuse it, and I liked building relationships by teaming up, but this game still looks cool
Airforce Gamer because its a remake
